I preferred the arcade fast paced wwe games. This was one of the best ones IMO. I hardly buy WWE games anymore cuz they've really gone downhill

I like games that let you play through season mode with anybody you want. I hate when the game forces you to be a certain player only in story mode.

This is the game I actually enjoyed so much back then at my younger days. I used to create my fighters and battle it out and play the Bra & Panties match with the sexy ladies. Ah, good times. ;)

@@tyro64 Install pcx2. It's an emulator using which u can play ps2 games on ur pc. Given if u have a pc with great specs especially a great processor. Once u are done installing pcx2 download any wwe game ps2 iso and just mount it via the pcx2 emulator and voila!!!

Man the fast pase gameplay, the sound effects, the impact in every single move,the selling, everything looks so brutal this is the best wrestling game ever I miss so much this type of gameplay that was so much fun... 2k really sucks..

Thankyou for upbringing my childhood memories ,I remember me and my friends 12 years ago used to go to playstation shop and play this game for 25 rs for 1 hour ,this is the best game I ever enjoyed in my life speedy actions ,active sound , good graphics this old game is more better the latest versions of SmackDown available where WWE players and audience both went lazy ,very slow to play almost makes player sleepy.

I am in tears! I used to visit the STD booth/Game store nearby which also owned a PS2. I was 11 way back in 2004 and made a lot of unknown friends just because I was so good at this. Chris Jerico, Scot Steiner and Big show were the ones I chose the most. Used to lie to my parents, I was going to a shop and then spend my pocket money to play this late in the evening. Once I was caught red handed at the store by my parent, the scoldings I got that day, I will never forget.
And that was the last day I visited a gaming store. 😂

controls on ps2 was so much easy to use, unlike todays game, where you have to press 2-3 buttons to perform one move! lol, every move in todays wrestling games or every other game where you have to press all these buttons , back in the day, X was kick, sqare was punch, O was something else and just all every simple.

It's been a decade, I still remember the embarrassment, when my dad trashed me out of a game cafe holding my collar while I was playing this. He warned me several times not to visit game cafes during late evenings but I used to ignore his words.🤣

I love also the fact that in this game there are 7 stone cold stunners (5 as finishers and other 2 as grapple moves), the superstars has their own specific animations ( like the Triple H clothesline or Lesnar clothesline that are very different from the others). You can find all the moves for Austin, The Rock, Undertaker, Triple H, Goldberg, Booker T, Brock Lesnar, Shawn Michaels and many others... This is great to my opinion!!!
