On official website they created a page dedicated to 20th anniversary and this is the message they have for us: Counting Down to the Monster Hunter Series 20th Anniversary Dear intrepid hunters, The Monster Hunter series will celebrate its 20th anniversary in March 2024. We on the Monster Hunter team would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of our players. We have only been able to reach this significant milestone thanks to your support. In the first installment in 2004, players could wield five different weapons and set out from two settlements: Kokoto and Minegarde. Since then, the long journey over the past two decades has seen hunters traverse snowy mountains, the deep sea floor, ancient ruins, and undiscovered continents. We are absolutely overwhelmed by the love and enthusiasm you have all poured into the series over the years. Your valuable feedback and contributions have consistently aided us in adding user-tailored updates and developing even better gaming experiences with each new title. Monster Hunter: World managed to resonate with people all over the world. Even though the pandemic prevented us from meeting with many of you directly, you have sent us so many warm messages online. We cannot thank all of you enough for all that you have given to the series. With these 20 years of success behind us, we hope to ride this momentum and bring you bigger, better, and even more exciting hunting experiences that will thrill and surprise you. We invite you, dear hunters, to join us on the journey ahead. Happy Hunting! The Monster Hunter Team
This honestly brings tears to my eyes. It’s been a fun long 20 years of this franchise. I’m so glad to be part of it. And so happy to see new players loving this franchise as much as I do!!
It makes perfect sense that this would be an almagimation of all previous games. The RE engine has been their most fluid easy to develop for engine yet, and im sure it would be something for the old games as for the 10th anniversary we got generations which was a celebration of all older content and old villages.
@@Hpalhazred Worked for Rise but then again rise and its graphical settings were all based on the switch. Not much else they could do to the game post release. I'm sure they'll make it work great
Yo bro the last hunter in the logo is me😎 I am old and cool! I played the very first monster hunter was 2006 and I'm proud to say that I hunted the troublesome pair with my trustee Siegmund greatsword with the freaking right analog stick! And luckily I think it took me 50 or more to get the rarest rathalos plate! From delivering eggs to fighting the legendary monoblos, I have done it all! And many generations after and still a hunter tho I stopped after Icebourne. And didn't play the next title after😅 P.S I also have crafted the rusted hammer upgrade breathcore hammer, and also have gotten the rare monoblos heart dang! I love reliving the old glory days
Seeing that old hunter made it feel as if it was putting us old veterans up there knowing it all started with us. I’ve been playing since 04. Those chills man can’t shake that.
You guys, look at it this way at least. This is only the start. It ain't no reveal, but this marks the start of the 20th anniversary snd what follows. Im speculating the actual reveal to happen in october somwhere, or maybe even before September ends.
My theory for mh 6 remains the same: a game where you can go to four different villages and encounter each monsters there with the visuals from world and a semi-open world map
Yeah they were kinda hinting at it through out this special video especially when they added the hunter with the OG hunter set at the end of the line. It's either a remake or a hint that they are going back to old school monster hunter, where you don't focus much on skills and the player is not flying around stupid bugs and instead they go back to the kinda slow methodical monster hunter that we all love.
@khalil8043 TBH, I wouldn't mind if we went back to 4U/MHW style, where, sure, there's flying around and stuff, but it did feel more grounded. GEN/Rise feels too crazy. It is fun, don't get me wrong. But I think it being pulled back just a bit, but adding all the QOL improvements from MHW/R would be a really cool, middle of the road experience

I really didn't care whether there was going to be an announcement on the next MH. Perhaps it was for the better as a rushed game is only garbage from many past experiences. But playing these games since 3Tri, 25 years old and still dropping countless hours on these games, I absolutely love how far Monster Hunter has gotten. ❤
Its either a tease to what they are planning or, its just symbolism for the evolution, seeing mh1 in front of everything else being where it all started
