You know... a story about a hunter or a field researcher seeing a Deviljho eating its own tail would be hilarious great video btw, need more monhun content, MORE
What about one seeing a Plesioth cross the desert in the middle of the night? Would be funny. As Unnatural History Channel put it, “Any explorer or hunter who sees one doing this may wonder what mushrooms they used to make their Mega Potions.” (There is precedent for what I’m talking about. Some Plesioth populations are stranded in water sources in the desert, and so are some Real-Life Crocodiles. Those crocodiles will travel across the desert between water sources during the night to breed with crocodiles at different water sources.)
You could treat it like how scientists are 99.9% sure that some birds in Australia intentionally start forest fires by carrying burning branches to get thier prey to scurry into the open due to numerous first hand accounts and stories going back centuries, but there hasn't been any difinitive photos or videos of them carrying the branches.
Or even better, a researcher questioning why we believe deviljho eats its own tail without solid evidence to back up, going insane in the process while realizing history is a lie.
The concept that there is a giant monster out there that simply seeing it and being near it can cause hunter's to quit hunting is really cool. Imagine, another Diablos bigger and stronger than Bloodbath, whose roar has the same power as a mountain crashing down
I’m surprised that with the enormous amounts of modders on World and Rise, I’ve never seen something like this crimson demon as a mod that does not exaggerate the monster with crazy attacks, but it’s just lore accurate, closest case would be MHResurgance Crimson and white Fatalis
As a new MonHun fan, it's so wonderful learning about the diverse world it holds. I've always been a sucker for in-depth fantasy ecosystems, and this series absolutely has me in a chokehold to learn more. Your channel is such a gem and right up my alley with the docustyle presentation. Whether this video is based on an obscure mention in a book or not, the storytelling makes this feel so real! Thank you for your informative and entertaining presentation!
the story was phenomenal, the tension, story telling, the impact of the hunter after his encounter with the sand emperor. This side of MH story telling really shows how realistically deadly some monsters can be without even mentioning Elder Dragons that often. So yes, please do more stories/legends like these!!
Yes! More tales of monster hunter!! There's so much potential to be had with tales like this. I realized this after your ecology videos! You've inspired me to write more and world build, so I'm so grateful to find your channel
Really makes You think how powerful and dangerous the creatures in monster hunter are. I remember hearing that canonically most hunters don't survive an encounter with a Great Baggi for example, only a few hunters are able to accept more difficult quests.
Imagine how few hunters make it to high rank and master rank. Granted I think they're just made up ranks for the sake of gameplay progression but still those few that can get to the level of taking on elders and master rank monsters must be 1/10 million prodigies
I half-assed attempted to writing my own comics and fan fiction on the franchise nearly 20 years ago to play with the monster hunter universe. I am grateful to you for your passion and diligence
Another brilliant video, this NEEDS to be a series on the channel. Between this and the Forbidden Episode you’ve proven yourself to be a fantastic storyteller. I need more of these videos!
this was insane, i expected an edgy story but it felt much more real than i thought it would, the little "plot twists" when the character was slowly realising what was happening were great this is phenomenal
The fact you're cracking out videos like this, with so much effort, resarch and passion put in them on a weekly basis never ceases to amaze me, please keep It up! You've given me a whole new level of apreciation for the Monster Hunter series
His ability to tell such a compelling story is astonishing. I felt the fear the hunter did. The editing also helped get into the world. This was outstanding do make more stuff like this.
I typically really dont like this kind of Fanfic esque original content, but the story was great! Illustrations were really cool, and Monster hunter just works PEFECTLY for such small scale individual stories. I very much hope you will continue the series, because that was a banger

I love the lore for the MH series, and the way you tell these tales is way better than anything else I've found so far. Keep up the amazing work my good sir.
I feel like the crimson Diablos seems to be like the light to bloodbath Diablos darkness both are incredibly strong Diablos individuals but they seem to behave in polar opposite way bloodbath Diablos is one of most violent monsters in general so aggressive it would attack a hunter on sight where as this one maybe being equally as strong as blood bath actually spared the hunter's life I can't help but Wonder what a clash from these two polar opposite beast would look like and who would come out on top.
I really love the storytelling here, I love Monster hunter's world and you did such a good job incorporating so many amazing little details of it into a neat and focused storyline. I also really love the reflection the hunter has after this encounter, the philosophy of individual hunter's and how they might change over time is always the most interesting parts of MH stories.
More, more, more, more. That's all I can say about this. There is a severe lack of captivating and actually well worded Monster Hunter stories. I've said it once about your Black Dragons video and I will say it again; your skill in storywriting and presentation is fantastic! I love how you respect the source material but also bring in your own creativity. This felt like a tale the retired hunter would tell in a tavern in Loc Lac, while fledgeling hunters would crowd around him and listen in awe and fear. Your stuff is genuinely amazing and I desperately hope for more content in this direction!
I wish I did not know the title for this video so I could go on a fully blind experience Simply spectacular, the narration, the images used, the script and sound effects (ones that did not feel out of place lol, that tends to happen in story narration videos that add them) MORE PLEASE

Personalty I thought this was phenomenally written, narrated and illustrated. Well done, I would love to see more of this kind of story format in the future.
You absolute Mastermind! Yet another narrative where you absolutely sell how nightmarishly terrifying these monsters can actually be. The writing, the pacing, the way my heart was pounding, I was legit clutching my chest listening to this. Phenomenal work as always, keep it up you awsome guy. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Youd be surprised how easy it is to get a big herbivore to think you're a predator. They dont like to take chances, its just lucky Diablos tend to act more like carnovores at times
My word I've haven't had someone narrates a story and keep me focused throughout the tail and I love it. I'm a big fan of the channel and the game and it's lore and I really believe I should continue with this because u r great at this. Keep up the work.
I'm not one to usally comment of videos but after watching your full Monster Hunter World ecology video and this one I have to ask you to PLEASE, create more content like this. Your voice is perfect for narrations and the edition and ambience of the videos you create manage to get me in the perfect mood, even if they are in the background (the way I started watching this video) your narration managed to get so deep inside of my head I would even call it magical. You are a goddamn legend and I need many more videos like this. Please keep up this fantastic work
This was an incredible story that you've done with just a sketch and some footnotes. I could feel the hunter's terror and the sheer presence this crimson diablos exuded. Well done good sir!
You guys need to get in touch with either a modder or capcom and get them to make these things appear. I am both so excited, yet so humbled, at the thought of seeing a Crimson Diablos. This creature seems amazing. I want to know this more. We need these legends in the guilds great archive to be made into monsters. The crimson king, however, would be like frontiers red rajang. Extremely rare change if getting it on a hunt to replace a normal Diablos, and they give it to us as like an event quest for constant hunts. I wouldn't even need unique armour and weapons for this guy. Just the spectacle of fighting an ancient tyrant horned wyvern would be beautiful
I! LOVED! THIS!!!!! We need more stories like this, of giant versions of the monsters ore even stories of small ones that group together like a blanket of death, anything to make this world of monsters more mysterious! PS you gave me a wonderful idea for a story I'm writing and some encounters my poor hunter/monsterologist will have on his adventures, so thanks so much for that!
This kind of content is what I LOVE about the destiny universe. Tales told by the perspective of another character in another part of the world, with its own way of seeing the universe of the game, that we as players cannot, and it fits perfectly with the MH universe too. Amazing video, really!
This was a perfect video that effortlessly described the terror of facing against a creature far too strong for any sane person to face against. Brilliant visuals, incredible pacing, I didn't even realize it was a half hour, and in truth I couldn't be happier with that length. Simply magnificent.
In the games it wouldn't seem like it when the player protagonist (especially in MH Rise) is essentially a walking death god that demolishes monsters as effortlessly as they take out the trash.
Man, the game i grew up with was something i never thought would horrify me, first it was the dread of Deviljho, then Alatreon and lastly fatalis. im so glad to see people give life to things i can only experience on a screen

Wonderful work here, Oceaniz. I really love the "recovered journal" style you have with this and the black dragon video. Great art too. I would love to see this series continue

I know nothing about this game nothing. I love your channel none the less as the way you present the story is excellent. You make it feel like these animals and this world exists for real. Awesome job my friend. Incredible!!!
This was an incredible video! We seriously need more tales of monster hunter cause already you nailed it with the first video! It’s amazing to think a series with such a simplistic premise could be able to dish out with the right talent, incredible stories like this one. Though I’m guessing that hunter must’ve warned the guild about the crimson Diablos before quitting cause uh…a lot body bags are probably coming Loc Lac’s way then.
i've started watching your videos about 2 weeks ago but this one... was a thriller! the way you narrated, the story, the conclusion... i LOVE it. guet gmacht :)
Without a doubt one of the best channels I've came across lately, I don't know if it's just cause I'm an absolute monster hunter fan any case I'm amazed I've came across it
I think that stories that have Riders in them would also be fantastic. I.e., a Hunter encountering a Rider and their companion, or legends of powerful Riders and their Monsties saving towns and doing other good deeds.
More. I request/ require more. I love how easily and seamlessly you slip into these stories. Each of your videos have different vibes to them but every single one of them transports me into the world of monster hunter, either as a young hunter listening about the legend of a specific monster or a hunter that wants to learn more about a biome and get a better understanding and gain admiration for the creatures that I battle on a daily basis. I love your videos and I want to see more of any type of video you make. There have been lore videos about monsters and stuff like that, but you feel like THE monster hunter lore guy. You have found your craft and I am excited to see more of your masterpieces
you have inspired me to get my creative ass in gear, holy shit dude I love chiming in to these narations! we need more Monster Hunter fan-stories just so I can hear you read them out omg
I'm loving this story! It's about time we have an actual Monster that's gone through a mutation that makes it *Unique* and this doesn't disappoint, I like this kind of content for sure so up to you if you want to make more.
Man, You should definitely write a book or adapt this to film. Your art of telling and making stories exciting is incredible. I hope to see many more videos like this one Continue to make us dream
Much like your last video in this style, this is truly a work of art. This is probably the best monster hunter content on TH-cam, I cannot think of anything I want to watch more
That was so cool! Can't wait to see more of this series, I loved it. Your storytelling is top notch, I was already enjoying your previous Monster Hunter videos but this one is one of the best yet

Without a doubt one of the best channels I've came across lately, I don't know if it's just cause I'm an absolute monster hunter fan any case I'm amazed I've came across it
monster hunter videos are always a joy from you
The editing and sound design of this piece was really good, it drew me into the story more than I expected.
I want to write something like this, albeit about Lagiacrus
This was an absolutely incredible video with great visuals and great storytelling! Definitely please keep making these 😃😃
Vary good storytelling, i have never been so terrified of a diablos in all my years of hunting 💙
This was a great short story.
You can easily turn this into an audiobook, it’s that good.
Excellent storytelling, lovely episode. Would love to see more of these!
I'm loving this story! It's about time we have an actual Monster that's gone through a mutation that makes it *Unique* and this doesn't disappoint, I like this kind of content for sure so up to you if you want to make more.
Man,
You should definitely write a book or adapt this to film. Your art of telling and making stories exciting is incredible.
I hope to see many more videos like this one
Continue to make us dream
Much like your last video in this style, this is truly a work of art. This is probably the best monster hunter content on TH-cam, I cannot think of anything I want to watch more
I'm so glad you're doing videos like this, these are amazing.
Love your channel! and as a french viewer, thanks for the subtitles it make the video easy to understand
absolutely beautiful storytelling! I was thoroughly on the edge of my seat and you portrayed the character's feelings wonderfully!
I was constantly on edge while watching this. Great video
This is a very enthralling story, very well written and voiced, I can tell you put alot of effort into this!
