I’ve been to Miami a few many times and I’m a Sri Lankan. I agree that you see a lot of similarities there in terms of weather, atmosphere, beaches and vibes. Miami is richer but Sri Lanka is even richer in terms of hospitality and food culture wise.

Yeah, we Sri Lankans would go to Galle Face just to take some selfies there.. I mean, a lot pf folks, would go to this mall, and come out just with tons of selfies, but without a single piece they bought lol.
Just to correct you guys, those jeans are not expensive at all because those are the same quality of what you can find in USA. You might aware that most of the Levi's jeans are made in Sri Lanka but unfortunately those are not affordable for locals and you can only find them in luxury shopping malls. What happened to your Chinese tour? Stay safe.
The malls like ONE GALLE FACE are really expensive for a middle class Sri Lankan so usually people go there and chill out! actually foreigners and people who can afford only do shopping. For rest of them it’s like amusement park. You told about people taking pictures it’s because once in a while only people visit there so for them it’s a memory!

This shopping complexes are really expensive , I think I have being there couple of time , but never brought anything . But food , bars and roof top floor are superb and movie theater.
The unmanned store looks so cool. I think all countries should have a couple of these stores.
