I know this is non-canon, but it really highlights Velvet's character development between two different points of Berseria, where she went from unrestrained rage to a controlled, directed temper.
Sorey and Velvet meeting without anyone to mediate would have been hell, even with a mediator is was tense, Velvet pointing out she is the Lord of Calamity which Sorey only knows as pure evil and him claiming to be a Shephard which she only knows as being zealots of Artorius.
Me? I just missed Velvet... She is such a cool female anti hero... She is seen as a legendary Dark Lord defeated by good guys too... What an adventure... She deserved better and the truth of her tale needs to be known...
One thing a I really like about this arc is the fact that it brings together characters from Zestiria and Berseria. Even though Eizen is available later on, it's too bad he's not part of this arc.
Edna showing up is one thing. Zaveid would be hilarious. ESPECIALLY if Berseria-time Zaveid showed up. "I can't wait to explain THIS to MYSELF." Also, Sorey, Raine, Rutee(apparantly), Alisha, Mikleo, Eizen and Ix explore ruins. And everyone else from their worlds follow them and cringe to epic proportions. Remember Edna's response to three people being like that, and then make it seven. Including her own brother.

@@ReshyShira To be fair, everyone from Berseria who isn't dead or otherwise fridged shows up. Eizen is a dragon now, Zaveid lost his shirt, Laphicet's there. I'm personally kinda still hoping on the Zestiria sequel the post-game section of Berseria hints at where Sorey goes and gets Velvet out of the freezer and those two can angst at each other over their opposite roles.

I really liked playing this chapter especially with a Sorey/Velvet teamup. I ended up playing the chaptet in tandem with Alisha's event so I at one point I went full Zestiria in Beseria except when it came time to face Velvet's past is when I put in Velvet with her upgraded MA. The first interaction with Sorey and true Velvet did come out as expected them fighting each other. Even worse is when Velvet calls out Sorey since she thinks of him as a lowly exorist with Mikleo as his tethered Malak. Glad they sorted out things in the end especially with the answer Sorey gives Velvet at the end. Can't wait for the event with Laphicet and Eizen as that will have interactions aflow especially with Edna and Eizen.
My favorite part of this chapter outside of the Zestiria/Velvet interactions (which I thought were well done) has to be the babby boars. I saw them and couldn't help laughing.
How is babby boar formed? :TeeHee: But yeah, definiely liked the interactions, looking forward how they expand them in the Bersy event with Eizen and Laphi :p

Well, now I'll have to speedgrind chapters 8 and 9 to have some gems for the next event... Anyways, do you have space left for followers, Omega? This was my favorite chapter until fighting that vengeance Velvet. This game has some cheap bosses, but she is definitely the cheapest I’ve ever seen. She blocks for days, hits like a truck with inescapable combos, and she’s FASTER than you so you can’t outrun her for long. And you have the nerve to make the boss battle seem like child’s play
Your right I don't think anyone else skipped every sub event for every character cause they thought they were unlocking the card that gave more info about the character at certain levels so I ended up having to read like 30 some sub events T-T
Sorry Sorey but your charm sent high enough to work on Velvet Rip, also wouldn't this kinda be like going to the town to restock and the final boss (with Velvet lvl of malevolence) just walks in and also tries to restock? XD
yes, but she is with everyone else that has appeared in Story chapters in her current banner, so the pool is too big which reduces the odds of getting stuff for her there. I would personaly suggest waiting for the Alisha event banner, cause Velvet is a focus character there and the pool will be much smaller, increasing odds of getting her stuff. Unless you are feeling lucky, its your gems anyway :p
