I just think about the good times we spent together, the laughter we shared, our struggles together... I remind them all again, but it had to end and it did. I have never regretted this decision. We were obviously not made for each other. We were only traveling companions for a while. Still, I miss you too.

I remember finding this short film so many years ago and thinking that it was so beautifully tragic, but I couldn’t relate to it. When I came back to it again a year or so after that, I cried because I could relate. It’s been a few more years since then and I always find myself coming to it every now and again.
For me, there will always be the one person I miss. The reason I cried over this video the second time. My favorite short film, hands down. So bittersweet.

I hardly ever cry. I’ve learned to keep all my emotions hidden inside. But this girl was far too valuable to me and the way we ended was unfair. We had no say really but a part of the reason was just us. A couple days after we ended, this video appeared in my recommendations. I couldn’t stop the tears. She showed me true love and happiness like nobody before. Today, she just met someone new. I know this because her sister and brother still contact me. They love. And she decided to contact me and I guess keep me in contact. She didn’t mention the new guy and our conversation was hardly anything. I said some words, she thought they were beautiful, and she went to bed. Oh how I wish I could call her mine again. M.B., I gave you my heart and sometime during our breakup, when we checked up on each other, you said you’d keep my heart forever. It still lives with you. I will always love you.

Hey.
I know we haven’t seen each other or even talk to each other in a while, but I want you to know that I’ve been doing a lot of thinking lately, and I want you to know that I miss you.
Not I regret what happened or I want to see you again, just I miss you. just I miss you. It’s so strange to think that someone I knew so well is now a total stranger to me, that sometimes I go entire days without thinking about you.
Most of the time i let myself forget because it’s easier, but then I find something, a photo, a gift, the stupid love letters we used to give each other, and the full weight of what’s being lost crashes down on me.
Part of me wants to see you again, to hold you again, to kiss you again, but all of those feelings become empty thoughts when I look back now remembering that love isn’t always what it seems. It’s just so easy to forget.
But this isn’t regret, we had our reasons for ending it, and they are as valid as ever. But back at the start, we didn’t need any reasons to fall in love. We just did.
The reasons came at the end, and everything since then has been about reasons. And that’s good, means that one day I’ll find I won’t have to say goodbye to. But apart of me just misses loving someone and having them love you back. That’s all.
I guess what I’m saying is I hope things are good with you. I hope everything is great. I hope everything is great. I hope you have found a love that’s all the things ours couldn’t be. But just a small part of me hopes that you still remember what it was like before all the reasons,
and that you miss me too.

While I was watching this Video I thought about to write a letter just like this to my Ex-Girlfriend, too. Everything what he said, were just the same things I was thinking about the last few weeks. And at the end of the video I was so close to do it. But, as he closed the window, I stopped the video. I reflected everything that happened. Yesterday I broke up with my partner of almost a year. I had been thinking about it for a few weeks and thought it was the right thing to do, as I still have a lot of personal things to work on and wasn't sure I could give everything I would want to devote to someone in a relationship. But I've been crying for a good amount of the day and I start up again every time I think about something little like videos we'd record for each other in the morning or how he laughed at stupid memes. It was the first real, meaningful, impactful relationship of my life and I can't tell if I just don't know who I am without him anymore or if I was wrong for ending it in the first place.
Anyway, that's my piece. This isn't the first time I've seen this short film, but I came back because I figured I'd better go ahead and get the tears out before I have to socialize on Monday. I doubt anyone is going to see this, but I'll update you if there are any developments

You need to be okay with being vulnerable. You CAN feel. You're just scared to death of living through heartache again. Open up to the amazing guy you've met and see what happens. Don't fear an unknown future. You have no clue what's gonna happen tomorrow, next week, next year, etc. So live for the present and live fully. Open your heart. It may get crushed repeatedly, but you can either let it learn and heal from it or you can let it make you feel miserable. It's your choice entirely.
Everyone can feel. It's impossible to feel completely numb. It's not in our nature. What you're doing is simply putting up a wall around your heart, trying to protect it from unknown forces that may wish to do harm upon it. That's not strength, as you call it. Strength is embracing the pain, feeling it, then letting it go. Strength is meeting hardships head on with a positive attitude still intact. Strength is knowing that every relationship you've been in has been an amazing learning experience.
This new amazing guy you met is in your life right now for a reason. One of them is to teach you something new or maybe to remind you of what it's like to love. Either way, go with the flow and allow your heart to explore freely. Don't hinder it. It's not healthy.

Part of me wants to see you again, to hold you again, to kiss you again. But what if those feelings become empty thoughts? When I look back now, remembering that love isn't always what it seems it's just so easy to forget. But this isn't regret, we had our reasons for ending it. They were as valued as ever. But back at the start, we didn't need any reasons to fall in love. We just did.
The reasons came at the end. Everything since then has been about reasons, and that's good. It means that one day I'll find someone who I won't have to say goobye to, but a part of me just misses loving someone and having them love you back. That's all

+Shopping is fun I lost my best friend of 9 years to my relationship. My best friend didn't want to deal with my problems anymore and didnt wan't to listen during my hard times. She would constantly blow me off if I wanted to talk because I was always at a bad mood due to my rocky relationship. Needless to say I left that friend behind because if you can't be there during my worst time why do you deserve to be there when I'm happy. It was difficult though because I loved that friend to death and everything but when you're in love with someone and youre in a relationship with them, if you end up breaking up its the worst pain you can possibly experience. I had that happen recently when my relationship started to collapse and we ended up breaking up. I was torn and I've never experienced such depression when the love of my life and the one person I care for the most, the one person I dedicate every single second of my life too was no longer in it. I stopped eating, sleeping and went into complete depression. I have never seen myself so low. The one person who could take me out of that current state would have been my love. I'm so thankful that my relationship was given on more shot. I have my problems but I also have the brightness in my relationship and the unconditional love that is shared. This is my opinion, but when you find your soul mate....things are different.
