As a fellow introvert, I feel that way sometimes as well. Eventually I realized it was just a natural reaction to a fictional relationship/wanting what I can't have. Having actually tried relationships, I realize that it will just make me miserable. Even a seemingly perfect committed relationship would eventually drive me insane, due to the commitment itself. We walk alone because it's the least crappy option, no point in chasing something that is unsustainable for us.

My sister and best friend played a huge role in it too, but I mostly understood that maybe we weren’t mean to be together. I couldn’t date anyone for these 3 long years and hardened my heart. 6 months ago, I met a very nice guy and we ended up dating after 3 months… but despite our nice moments, we broke up 2 days ago because even though we became important persons in each other lives, we understood that would be better off as friends (or just acquaintances) and wouldn’t hurt each other (for different reasons). I believe we all deserve someone who can love us in the sweetest way we can imagine and that we will be able to give this love back if we feel and see that it’s the right person for us. But it can mean to have to let go, even if you don’t want to, of someone very valuable at the moment. I’m an introvert too but relationships can be nice when the other person respects your boundaries and is happy to give you space. My partner had to learn that I didn’t hate him because I wanted alone time. I just really enjoy alone time. But I think he gets it now lol. Been 4.5 years ^_^

As a fellow introvert, I feel that way sometimes as well. Eventually I realized it was just a natural reaction to a fictional relationship/wanting what I can't have. Having actually tried relationships, I realize that it will just make me miserable. Even a seemingly perfect committed relationship would eventually drive me insane, due to the commitment itself. We walk alone because it's the least crappy option, no point in chasing something that is unsustainable for us.

I always wanted EXACLTY like the guy in the video.... nothing more realy, in my whole life. I never got it. I lost hope, i mean i REALY lost it. I could NEVER imagine to find real love. It goes that far that i got sick because of it.... life was over for me, i was dead inside. So i went to a doctor and he sended my into mental hospital for 3 month. I was done.... i mean REALY done. But exactly at THIS place i found someone realy special. Now we basicly like this couple in the video. This video hit me hard because that is literally how our relationship is, in every single frame I could see us. I put him on his limit and I lost the love of my life. Everyone outside could see how much we love each other, that was in the way we looked at each other, it was a really beautiful love, but he can't do it anymore and I lost my whole world, my happiness... 3 years ago I broke up with someone I loved for 4 years, we really loved each other but we arrived to a point where we couldn’t understand each other anymore and he became selfish and hurtful. So I decided to end our relationship. It completely destroyed me but I eventually felt better through time. Time can heal. My sister and best friend played a huge role in it too, but I mostly understood that maybe we weren’t mean to be together.
I couldn’t date anyone for these 3 long years and hardened my heart. 6 months ago, I met a very nice guy and we ended up dating after 3 months… but despite our nice moments, we broke up 2 days ago because even though we became important persons in each other lives, we understood that would be better off as friends (or just acquaintances) and wouldn’t hurt each other (for different reasons).
I believe we all deserve someone who can love us in the sweetest way we can imagine and that we will be able to give this love back if we feel and see that it’s the right person for us. But it can mean to have to let go, even if you don’t want to, of someone very valuable at the moment. Sometimes we need to learn some things to be able to appreciate sth as good as this or even better…
Idk if it helps you and it’s probably not the words you want to hear/read right now. But I promise that if it’s meant to be, it will. And if it’s not, then something even more beautiful will happen to you both (sorry if it hurts you, it wasn’t my intention…) in the future. Trust in you and your abilities to find happiness.
