Varutharacha Sambar || Kerala Special Sambar Recipe in Tamil

Today we are doing a Sambar recipe. So many methods are there to make a perfect sambar. Today we are doing Kerala Special Varutharacha Sambar. In this masala made with roasted Coconut.. Just try and enjoy the taste.. Perfect match to plain rice, Idly, dosa etc..
Ingredients
Toor dal - 1/2 Cup
Drumsticks - 2 no
Elephant foot yam - 150 gm
Cucumber - 100gm
Tomato - 1 Big
Ladies Finger - 2 Nos
Brinjal - 1 No
Carrot - 1 No
Onion - 1 No
Shallots - 1/4 Cup
Potato - 1 No
Tamarind - 1 Lemon Size
Asafoetida - 3/4 Tsp
Coriander Leaves
Salt
Masala :-
Grated Coconut - 2 Cups
Fenugreek - 1/4 Tsp
Chilly Powder - 2 Tsp
Coriander Powder - 3 Tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1/2 Tsp
Seasoning :-
Mustard - 1 Tsp
Fenugreek - 1/4 Tsp
Curry Leaves
Red Chilly - 3 nos

Hi mam..i luv all ur recipes I jus watch ur vedios even if I'm not trying long back I saw this recipe...but tried only last week..basically I luv sambar..but this version of urs is seriously soo delicious...a different taste like from restaurants even better than that...I've been searching so long and wondered how hotels attained that taste n finally I've got the secret..everyone in my family were amazed when I made it..(I never knew that coconuts could do so much wonder) thank you so much! The two great hits of our kitchen last week was ur sambar recipe and mathangai erissery. I can jus blindly follow ur instructions very simple yet the results are great..keep rocking n belated onam wishes!! 🥳

Wow, my tongue is oozing. Superb sambar. Will go well with fish fried, anchovies fried, dry fish fried and papadams. The three little kittens are going to enjoy a yummy lunch.
