Just purchased this for $699 and this was the best value laptop I ever bought. The 2k OLED 120hz screen is absolutely amazing. The battery does drop a little faster than most laptops though.
Asus VivoBook S 14X OLED(i7 12700H ) vs Asus Zenbook 14 OLED ( i7 1260P) which one is better for developers? is there hitting issue in vivobook 14/15 ?
I hope you could also get your hands on the Vivobook Pro 14 (or the Vivobook Pro 14X). It's right in between this S 14X and the 16X. Great initial review.

Hey Ben, I've been looking to buy a gaming laptop because I recently joined the Navy and I need something more portable to take on ships with me so I can work on online college classes and 3D design while also being able to enjoy my gaming hobby. I've been really interested in Halo Infinite now that it's out, Elden Ring, Deathloop, etc. I like to play games like Subnautica, Dishonored, Fallout 4, Cyberpunk, Borderlands, The MC Collection, etc. I've been looking at laptops such as the Gigabyte Aero 15 OLED XD [3070], Acer Nitro 5 [3050TI], Asus ROG Flow x13 [3050TI] (for portability + power), and 2022 MSI GE66 Raider [3060]. Which do you think would be the better option for me?
@@rasincodm6534 Tech support and updates dont even exist for that computer....And it wasnt cheap.Even the computer repair stores couldnt fix it.I was so livid when i realized nobody in the forums has ever bought a Gigabyte twice.. Best part was the link he sold it through wasnt even the actual model he reviewed
lmao I feel bad for sighing when he said it was intel - but when he said there was no dedicated graphics, i lost interest. I'll still watch to the end for Ben, but man. I just don't see the point in an intel H series in a thin-&-light with no gpu. At least it's OLED (OLED carries yet again)

I've been watching a number of laptop reviews and it amazes me that no one or almost no one mentions the lack if an RJ45/Ethernet port.
most use wifi only, ive been editing videos for a long time and never heard of such a port
It would make the laptop thicker, and if you want one there are cheap adapters available.

No it is glossy. But it seems some company sells matte foil for notebook screens.

Theres the vivobook s 14x which is this one. But theres also the vivobook pro 14x which is basically the same but with a gpu.
There's also the M5402 which is basically the exact same laptop but with a Ryzen 6800H or 6900HX
These reviews are paid most of times never believe them
there is nowhere to buy this laptop or 16X version. that's the thing i hate about Asus
