    Thank you for loving my city so much. Traffic is a challenge, at best, but if you manage to live near your workplace, it fixes most of the issue.

    I hear about so many blacks leaving the US and I HONESTLY don’t blame them america is wilding out more than ever. I’m looking to to get me and my family away from police brutality and American madness. My wife has a bachelors degree but myself I don’t do I just need to figure out career/jobs moves obviously before planning all this out and get affluent in speaking Spanish.

    Hola Roshida! Feliz ano nuevo!! When discussing temperatures people need to keep in mind the humidity. For instance at 99 in Monterrey or Tijuana the "feels like" temperature is still around 99 because of the lack of humidity, whereas a 99 in Merida is a "feels like" temperature of roughly 106+. With humidity comes the constant sweating along with bugs, mosquitoes and high electricity bills. I live in the cooler temperature beach city of Ensenada where you don't need A/C or cans of bug spray and you can sleep comfortably at night with some blankets. It's very walkable, it has a nice but smallish malecon/centro area that can get busy. It's a safe place to live and the surf is good. It's not a big tourist hotspot so prices for everything are considerably more affordable. The food is great here and it's a known "foodie" destination but for the most part it's quiet but it does has some lower key night life and it's a short drive to the party town of Roasrito or the wine region of Guadalupe, also called the La Ruta del Vino with over 200 wineries along with world class chefs, restaurants and bars. Buenas suerte!

    Great video! Thank you for all the info! I'm looking at Guadalajara. Seeing that rents have gone up so much in the past couple of years, I was wondering if they raised your rent to try to keep pace, or increased the rent more like 3-5% annually or if they raised it at all? With the rents going up have you felt that landlords are trying to get old tenants out and new tenants in? Thanks for any help with this!

    • @richardhowe3951
      @richardhowe3951 16 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Hi. I live in Oaxaca city. If you like food , culture slow lifestyle and gentle people, you must come to visit. You will find things slower and quieter here than some other places. No high-rise buildings, subway , lots of taxis and bus service available. Rentals are very reasonable as well. This is one of the poorest states in the country. Tourism is the main thing here. Not much industries to speak of. Just thought I would pass this along. Air-conditioning is generally not need here and it may get a bit chilly during the months of October to March. Happy travels...

    Why can’t foreigners admit they are immigrants regardless of the situation why they are living in Mexico. Why do you insist of calling yourself expats. It’s insulting to Mexicans because non of the Mexicans living temporarily or permanently in the US or Canada have ever been called expats. Have you ever heard that term used to describe a Mexican? We have seasonal Mexicans living in the US for work and have they ever had the privilege of being called an expat? Is there a institution for expats in Mexico or the US you can go to for temporary stay?

    Just call it by why it is, Inmigrants. "Expat" is classist why of calling american immigrants to other countries. Or also call the people from Asia and Latinamerica in your country as expat, not immigrant.
    And if you move pay the mexican taxes.
