My father was an Irish Guard and told how Edward VIII reported him for being too slow to present arms outside St James Palace. He never forgave him and made us all laugh when dad mentioned him with all the accompanying expletives right up till his death in his late 80s.
Anne is an excellent person, when i was a plod, i often sat in as her night minder so her special branch body guards could get some sleep, they often did 12 hours per day when at the Bramhamm horse trials, i was firearms trained so helped out. She always came to thank me or other officers, in fact, my late brother lived near to Sandringham and one Christmas we had gone for a pre lunch drink, special branch would clear the lounge when the Windsor family came down. Anne saw me and invited me and my brother to join them for a drink. My nephew used to have a three mile run along the beach before breakfast most mornings he would see a little old lady exercising three labradors on the beach. It was three years before he realised the little old lady was the Queen, she instinctively realised that he had finally recognised her, so she used to say Good Morning Mr Bagnall to him, still enjoying teaching here? He was stunned.
I have to disagree with your opinion about The Princess Royale being disliked. She is the hardest working Royal and very loved. The military loves her especially. I think she is very very direct with the Press but her service is remarkable.

Actually with the pictures you're using of The Princess Royal and the bouquet. This was when she was meeting the public just after her mother had died. The woman offered the flowers and Anne asked her if she wanted her (Anne) to place the flowers with the rest for the Queen. The woman told her no, she'd got them for Anne. Anne was graceful and kind in her thanks.

She was explaining a Vermeer painting to Princess Anne and apparently HRH was extremely interested and asked mum a ton of questions. Prince Edward has made a few mistakes along the way - especially that large amount of somewhat immature arrogance when 'It's a Royal Knockout' failed to impress any of the reporters on the day; but then, when you consider that his chief role model at the time was Prince Andrew, you do have to feel a degree of sympathy for the youngest of the Windsor brothers. He went on to make a few more mistakes - such as filming Prince William at university during the Press Embargo - a clear demonstration if ever there was one that he though of himself more highly than he ought have done; but he's made a good marriage choice, good decisions regarding his children's titles - and seems to have learned from it. Sophie too, quickly wised-up after the fake sheik thing; and they do seem to do their best these days, to not do anything that's likely to be of interest to the media. They also seem to be genuinely interested in people - evidenced by Edward a while back when, evidently bored by the private event he was attending in an enclosed area of Edinburgh's Saughton Park; he took it upon himself to wander over to the nearby bandstand where I with two friends and a number of other people just happened to be at the time - two burly minders struggling to put their jackets on and keep up with him on this obviously unexpected and certainly unscheduled jaunt beyond the safety of the enclosure - just to say hello, and ask how we all were and whether we were enjoying the sunshine! I imagine the fact he is a prince is as accidental to him to him as anyone else and so, having learned from his mistakes he's clearly determined to not let it stop him just being a nice guy. You can't really fault that, I don't think.

However, if you want to get technical, and look at the history of divorce in the British Royal Family, the first to get a divorce was King Henry the Eighth. Princess Beatrice probably shared she was pregnant on the third wedding anniversary of Harry & Megan because Megan kept putting her hand on her tummy during the wedding of Beatrice's sister Princess Eugenie (five months after their huge wedding), causing the media to speculate Megan was pregnant with their first child - stealing the brides day. i would have done the same thing if i was Beatrice. I’ve attended work at her home as well as working with her in her capacity of Royal Patron for the charity Riding for the Disabled. I’m by no means a Royalist but she deserves credit where it’s due. Princess Ann is down to earth and not rude. She works very hard and is very kind.
Catherine has worn outfits several times not like mm who has to have lavish new!! Catherine has been photographed shopping for groceries, never seen any pics of the other royals doing that. She probably cooks most of her family's meals!! She has bad days with unruly kids at the most unappreciated times but I believe she's the best one out of the bunch of royals. She seems genuine!!

I greatly admire Princess Anne's work ethic and dignity.
I don't consider Meghan as royal, so no thoughts on her.

I think you will find that Meghan was the one who announced her pregnancy at one of the York Princesses wedding to steal the limelight from the bride and not the other way around. I don't think you did any homework on this as there are lots of inaccuracies.

Prince Edward has made a few mistakes along the way - especially that large amount of somewhat immature arrogance when 'It's a Royal Knockout' failed to impress any of the reporters on the day; but then, when you consider that his chief role model at the time was Prince Andrew, you do have to feel a degree of sympathy for the youngest of the Windsor brothers. He went on to make a few more mistakes - such as filming Prince William at university during the Press Embargo - a clear demonstration if ever there was one that he though of himself more highly than he ought have done; but he's made a good marriage choice, good decisions regarding his children's titles - and seems to have learned from it. Sophie too, quickly wised-up after the fake sheik thing; and they do seem to do their best these days, to not do anything that's likely to be of interest to the media. They also seem to be genuinely interested in people - evidenced by Edward a while back when, evidently bored by the private event he was attending in an enclosed area of Edinburgh's Saughton Park; he took it upon himself to wander over to the nearby bandstand where I with two friends and a number of other people just happened to be at the time - two burly minders struggling to put their jackets on and keep up with him on this obviously unexpected and certainly unscheduled jaunt beyond the safety of the enclosure - just to say hello, and ask how we all were and whether we were enjoying the sunshine! I imagine the fact he is a prince is as accidental to him to him as anyone else and so, having learned from his mistakes he's clearly determined to not let it stop him just being a nice guy. You can't really fault that, I don't think.

Princess Anne was not the first to get a divorce in the modern British Royal Family. That claim goes to her Aunt Princess Margaret. However, if you want to get technical, and look at the history of divorce in the British Royal Family, the first to get a divorce was King Henry the Eighth.
Princess Beatrice probably shared she was pregnant on the third wedding anniversary of Harry & Megan because Megan kept putting her hand on her tummy during the wedding of Beatrice's sister Princess Eugenie (five months after their huge wedding), causing the media to speculate Megan was pregnant with their first child - stealing the brides day. i would have done the same thing if i was Beatrice.
Princess Eugenie does or did have a job 9 months ago when this came out - she was director at the London art gallery Hauser & Wirth. She does a huge amount of work for charity - especially for children born with scoliosis.

Princess Anne maybe one of the few members of the royal family to give interviews. Princess Margret was many of the things you pointed out. Hard to believe Princess Margret and Queen Elizabeth were sisters. Prince Phillip was a very good member of the royal family. Never heard much about Prince Andrew except for his association with Epstein. The only Prince Albert I heard of was the one married to Queen Victoria. The blackmoor broach is a work of art. I have come across Princess Anne in several capacities over the last 35 years. I’ve attended work at her home as well as working with her in her capacity of Royal Patron for the charity Riding for the Disabled. I’m by no means a Royalist but she deserves credit where it’s due. She cares about her staff and certainly relishes her role for the disabled. It’s disingenuous to say that she’s arrogant. Certain other members of the Royal family certainly are. Andrew clearly is but so is Princess Michael. I’ve worked for her too in her home and found her grossly obnoxious!
