I’ve been sewing since my grandmother showed me how to make clothes for my dolls. Since I’m retired now and we heat mostly with wood in the winter, these fingerless mittens would get lots of use. Thanks for sharing, Julia. And I would LOVE to play in your button stash😍

    Hi Julia!
I watched this again because I just learned how to use my serger that I inherited from my grandma 25 years ago, lol. She said my grandpa used it and she didn't know how. I just need to find some cuffs now! 😂
    Have a beautiful week! ❤

Hi Brenda, I'm so glad you are learning on your grandma's serger. How cool! I don't use my serger on all my projects but I sure love using it on some things. It is a great addition to my sewing. Have a great day! Julia

These are genius! I love how you use all the parts that you cut off your sweatshirts! I'm going to practice on some of my own sweatshirts first, but you make these look so easy to do!
I've been sewing off and on since 1989 with my grandmother's Husqvarna Viking 500, lol. I have her serger too, but haven't learned how to use it. You've encouraged me to learn!
Thank you Julia! I sure am enjoying your videos! I even have a Big Shot that I haven't
    used yet either! (Silly, right?)
    Thx again! 😁

Hi Julia, those look so comfortable. I have those kind of mittens in a knit version and it is convenient to be able to use your fingers. About 30 years ago some American co-workers taught me patchwork and quilting. Actually you learn precise sewing and so I started sewing garments also. Your videos are very inspiring. Thank you for your tutorials.

Luv Luv your tutorials. I'm the one that requested fingerless gloves. Also bought a pair last week. I have arthritis and tend to wear fingerless even in the house. They seem to be so soothing. You inspire me to just 'go and do'! No worries. Just fun. I hope to sew these gloves and also try your scrap belt.
You truly are one of the best with your tutorials.

Hello, Julia! I don't remember learning to sew, I just always have! Our mother was a talented, creative woman who could actually make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. Because I grew up in a creative atmosphere, it's just my way of life!
I am very inspired by your work. I'm playing around with free motion, and it is fin!
The only thing I don't like about your videos is that they make me want to spend money, lol. I've purchased the a 5 piece set of Inktense pencils, and plan on getting a bigger set. They are wonderful!
    Thank you!

It really opens up many possibilities. Be careful because it is addicting:) The inktense are so fun as well. Thanks for watching. Julia

I love these! I am a beginner and you are so creative. I don’t have a fancy machine , I sew on my moms old 1957 singer 404. I have a singer 500 rocketeer (also old )that I use for decorative stitches and zig zag. I love your creativity and love that you use scraps and recycle thrift store finds. Thanks for all your tutorials

These are so cute and I hope I win the give away pair! But even if I don't, I've really enjoyed seeing how to make them. I don't have a serger so would have to use a stretch stitch. I've been sewing quilts and home décor items for about 13 years now (use to sew my kids' clothes way back when). I love all your videos and style!! It makes me happy to watch.
