Do I have a question? I use HIGH SPEED MACHINING and I have a cnc fadal And when you are working and cutting the tool it does some collisions but in my simulator I don't have those collisions would you know the reason why I have collisions at the time of working on my cnc fadal?
I do not know why you would have collisions. I would need more infornmation before i can even guess what your problem is. what do you mean by "collisions" ? are you suing cam software? what software? there can be so many reasons for poorly posted code or problems in a cnc movment
May not be the cause of the issue you are having but on some older controls (and new but not nearly as much) the axis will try to get to a point in rapid G0 movement as fast as possible independently from each other meaning if you comanden a rapid linier movement in X and Y for example from X0 Y0 to X50 Y10 the actual movement would look like a curve instead of a straight line and that could be why you have crashes.
Thanks :) I agree hass makes a great value machine provided you dont spend to much on options. I wish they would tart including come of tee software options as standard though. HSM lookahed should be on all modern controllers, not optional
ya it was spindle oil :/ sucked becouse it was my last pc. of stock or i would have re-filmed. anothre6-12 months and ill be running it again, maybe get a better vid, was one of the first parts i put through the new to me machine next time ill hit it ever harder ;P
@@brianwaayenberg3099 I just started a job programming a vf2 at a new job shop. I had no idea it could handle that kind of cut in steel. I was freaked out when my boss fed a 4 flute face mill at 300ipm in aluminum 😅 I don't think I'm pushing it hard enough
@@erik.with.a.c im still new to it, coming form a haas tm-1, been lots of fun, i mostly do smaller aluminum pars for a product i sell, so i dont often get to push the spindle to hard. take a look at your mills spindle power/torque curves look at the spindle load and see what you can do. each rpm and hp offered will have a somewhat uniue power curve you need to work withing. so many variables, just do your best!
Thanks for the fast reply! Are you having issue with tool life and machine life running that fast compared to more expensive machines?@@brianwaayenberg3099
Thanks :) As for speed/feed. I looked at the recommended settings from the manufacturer. And… pushed them a little bit. Got to have fun sometimes right? I ended bumping it to 400ipm later which worked well, but found it was a bit much for the endmill. Should have lowered the woc a little of changed holders. The Schunk is great to reduce vibes but it holds the cutter high up in the holder i found. Wish I could play with it some more. Need a tooling sponsor so i can play harder ;p

@@brianwaayenberg3099 yes i use mastercam 2020 but i dont know what is the problem

Haas make awesome machines. Nice work

which tool diameter is that? how many teeth does it have?
if i remember correct its a 3/8 kennmetals harvi3TE 4 flute
that bastard chip had to fly right in the way of the action XD

Do you remember what kind of spindle loads you were seeing?
gosh, its been a while. under 100% im pretty sure?

How do you guys get your feeds and speeds, also badass video!!!
Thanks :)

AIR USE??
1:52 nooo dont censor it!
just kidding :)
damn spindle oil! to bad it was my last chunk to cut or i would have re-filmed!
