Hey! Thank you for posting this video! This is exactly what I was looking for. I have to replace my thermostat in FIAT Bravo 2007, 1.9 16V 150HP - exactly the same engine. The only difference in entire process is that, before removing the battery, also ECU has to be extracted (which is located exactly between the battery and thermostat). Thanks to you I;m almost sure I can do it myself :)
Quick note - I managed to replace it in my FIAT Bravo (as in comment above), just with one difference - i removed the ECU, but did not remove my battery. After removing ecu there was enough space to extract the thermostat :) Cheers.
I did this on my GT, I haven't drained the whole coolant as a timing belt change is coming, and you don't really need to. I've lost maybe like a liter of coolant.
There its sam enginge in opel Vectra too, have replement the Termostathouse, i have heat in the car, the gauge not show none temptrature before the termstate opening, sometimes its start to go too 70 degrese celisius and go back too 0 degrese celisius, sometimes too 85 degrese celsius , and jumping litle up down betwin the temprature , look like not normaly

There’s only one reason to have thermostat in one big, expensive unit like this - £££££££££
👍
