Back when I have my 155 V6 (right hand drive), I had the pedal sticking down at times. Replaced the slave as a matter of course....but sadly, not only was the slave done, the master was too, and on a right hand drive V6 that job was....unpleasant!! And yes Bruno, I've probably told this story before too ;)
Hello! No, this one is new! Always wonder how some things are fitted on right hand drive cars. Like the room for the brake servo and other things.. like the ones you mentioned. I wonder if that is way hondas had the engine turned around, Japan being rhd too
The RHD 166 has torque rods to connect the pedals to the brake servo and throttle pot that are mounted on the left side as per LHD….but I confess I can’t recall what they did with the clutch master. I believe the 155 was the same for the brakes, with a torque rod linking the pedal to the servo on the left …but I most definitely recall the clutch master being by the pedal! By far the worst part of an overall hellish job was the master cylinder output pipe connection - access was almost impossible with the engine in. I suspect you are right about Japanese cars. Makes sense they would design them to suit the home market, although they no doubt sell more LHD cars than RHD
i v got the same bug on a gtv 916 ts, no oil leak but sometimes pedal going down, after push back on high position every think run fine for few times only
I was unlucky because my 147 was at parking for years. The leak was from master cylinder and I replaced the clutch at 150.000 which was in good condition.
Thank you! Do not stop putting videos from 156 please ! :)
Thank you very much! I have hundreds of them to come
Found it! Perfect Bruno, thank you very much!
As usual an excellent video, would be good if you could show how to bleed the clutch on the twin spark engine. Keep up the good work.
Hello. Thank you very much for watching! On my new realise today I have a clutch cylinder replacement and bleeding of the system. Hope it helps
What car is it? 156? If so, it is just like this one, even if it has the internal push bearing
@@alfaromeonoproblem It's a 2007 GT with 1.8 twin spark.
The bleeding niple is underneath a rubber cover. Just follow the hydraulic line.
@@alfaromeonoproblem Thanks. 👍
Perfect video, as always!
Thank you so much
Great, a lot of info what's have to be done, what's awaits me to be done. Thx broski
Thanks for watching
Hello from Bulgaria. Can you make some videos about common failure and problems with Alfa Crosswagon
Hello. I could, only about ten where sold here in Portugal. There are nowhere to be seen
Me too I have a Crosswagon with 18 years old and 250.000 km. I can't imagine me in another car! Here in Spain too are very rare currently.
Hi there, on my 75 i have a squeezing sound from the back when pressing the clutch pedal, any idea about it ?

That is very curious! I've seen that on driving school cars, to have two sets of pedals.
Thanks for sharing that
Is this procedure the same for the Alfa GT 1.8? Thanks :)
Hello. No, for that one the gearbox has to come out. I have a video for that on the diesel.
Thanks for your answer. Do I have to change the clutch also (plate, bearing etc)?
I advise you to do so, yes. To take advantage of all that labour! Valeo parts only!

Lleva mucho trabajo y dinero también, lo dejare así (con 5 velocidades) :(
Excellent video - do you know where I can buy a new master cylinder for my right hand drive 159 JTDM 2010 - Greetings from Ireland
Hello. That may not be easy. Here in Portugal they do not exist, so I do not know. Sorry

procedure is incorrect, there's not enough swearing :D
Sometimes that is! I try to avoid it on camera
Ok
Because it’s two seals one is pumping air inside if it was one seal wood leak
