Dom'd death hit me the worst. He lost his wife and children to the Locust and couldn't bear the weight of that loss. Also, when me and my stepdad use too play Gears of War together on coop, he was always Marcus and I was always Dom. So when Dom died I felt a part of my childhood left too. I loved playing Gears of War with my stepdad.
He lost his brother and not only that his wife went insane bc dom was away all the time and when the locust killed her kids it drove her mad to where she would have p t s d and visions of seeing them eventually letting the locust capture her so she could see her kids
Same here bro me and my step dad use to play co-op story line and almost beat it on insane till the last part of the game 😅 but I feel you so many memories
Ah man Kim’s death and the introduction of General Raam with all the slow mo in the original Gears of War before the remaster is one of the best cutscenes ever
Doms death is really hard to watch, it's one of the only scenes in any games that made me cry, the only one coming close being all of Noble teams deaths from Halo Reach
i like the more extra characters like the normal soliders idk why but i just find them more interesting because there doing there job with real life backstorys and most of them die for example in gears of war unlimited edition dom said "i hope that isnt ___ his kid just turned 3 this week" i find there storys mad interesting

I thought Del was a cool dude and all but my respect for Marcus as a character and everything he went through is too much for me to ever kill JD I just hope that gears 6 starts off with a screen asking to pick who you saved and then having different cutscenes based on who lives like how wolfenstein did it.

I remember when I first started playing gears of war. Gears of war judgment was relatively new and my dad introduced me to it. I played the games and after I got to Benjamin carmines death in gears of war 2 he told me about the carmine curse where the carmines always die Than I got to the third game and saw a sniper point at clay carmines head and I thought he would die.nope he lived.shortly after I beat gears of war 3 gears of war 4 got announced than 5 and I’m pretty sure there’s a 6th.I’m gonna try replaying the whole series
