This was an accuracy match. You’ll notice lots of make ups for shots called bad in hard cover or over small A zones. If opening on a close paper was possible, usually I took this option to ensure a good grip on far shots. 19 Start left side, open close shoot near to far, move explosively, shoot 8 entering right to left. 21 0:09 Start right crosser, open target, no shoot, left open. Move right 2 open targets through walls to hit the technical position there using the right target as an index, hit the open, no shoot stack. Transition right and take the right 2 on the move. Reload, hit tuxedo between walls, again, another technical position. Hit the activator, 2nd steel, bobber on the up and the crossing target. 18 0:31 Open on the close target to ensure a clean grip and sight picture for hard shots, far paper, drive down 2 steel next to the wall. Move explosively to 2nd position entering on the right open paper, 2 middle paper and finishing 4 steel. Leaving the right steel allowed easier shots without a lean. Reload exiting position 2. Enter position 3 for the center wall far target, then exit on the close hard cover biasing to the top of the A zone. Entering shooting the hard cover, 2 wall targets, 1 hard cover hidden by the wall then fishing on the tux. 11 1:01 Start right for the 2 far shots, then exit moving on the 2 crossing shots. Keep feet moving while turning to get to the position on the wall for 3 hard cover split. Reload here to have a full mag for the shuffle double position at the end. Finish right position first for 2 open paper by the wall, slightly moving left, for the hard cover right crossing shot, no shoot, activator and swinger. This was a great stage where you had to speed up and slow down. 12 1:25 Get the gun and immediately engage the right stack for clean hits. Move left for a double stack position right then left, shuffle left for the around the wall stack speeding up the pace. Hit the reload and sprint to the back left corner for the right stack, then open far cross stack. This plan added a position at the start but avoided leaving the 2nd array from the left partially occluded by a wall. Watching the squad, half the shooters shot the wall and ended up with a miss. I played this one conservative and ended up with a great hit factor.
2 1:49 Left first for activator, 3 poppers, 2 crossing paper. Sprint around the front to enter on the tux, popper, open paper and 2 crossing shots. 1 makeup because I hit the hard cover steel instead of the popper. “Hey that sounded weird…and the popper is still up!” Finish back to the port for the bobber. Great medium course. 16 2:12 Draw to the open paper for a good grip, 2 mini poppers in another county, exit on the tux. Sprint to the left side for the hard cover around the wall, then right side crossing open and no shoot. Reload for the finishing sequence. Enter to the right side on the 2 open targets, steel left to right with activator being the 3rd target. Ambush the swinger, transition to the open target, move left on the left target and finish on the right crossing hard cover. This was about as smooth as the ending sequence could be for me. 15 2:33 Start right to left leaning to exit, enter open aggressively and finish targets right to left. Push on this stage. 9 2:46 Star on the right side open target, then left to right hard cover, open paper, activator, clam shell. Hard exit and sprint to the other side. Enter on the open paper, take targets left to right. 8 2:58 Start on the right side stack with an aggressive push. Move left indexed on the activator, hit the open paper, then bobber. Finish left on 3 paper left to right. 7 3:11 Start on the right side for the far shots (they are all far), hit the left side crosser then shuffle left for the far hidden wall shots. Take the 2 in the port starting on the no shoot and focusing on clean hits on both since there’s no reason to drop points for speed. Reload and enter on the left shot around the wall, the open target and double stack to the right, hit the head box with 2 clean shots going for A’s, the tux through the port, then the far hard cover. Lots of technical positions and starting on this stage I played it safe. 20 3:36 - Open on the close target to ensure a good grip for the far shots, move hard and fast to the 2nd position and shoot left to right. I got squirrely on the poppers but reigned it in and finished well. 6 3:48 Step forward for the right side crosser, then move right for the far open, activator, open target and bobber. I pulled out early on the open target to fill time which cost me but I did make up the shot. Move hard left to the 2 left side shots then reload moving forward. Finish on the no shoot stack and right side crosser. This was another example of a great medium course. 2 4:12 I wanted to try 2 different plans but settled on the safe shot that avoided wall hits we were seeing. Start in the right side box taking the 3 targets, then the low tux. Explode right, I went too hard, on the open paper and popper. I had to reload moving left because of make up shots and avoiding a possible standing reload on the left side array. I also overshot the left side position. Not great execution but hits ended up good. 5 4:27 Bill drill. Just execute at a calm pace. Nothing to gain here, everything to lose.
