Thanks for the tutorial. For those who are upset about how low the water level is, you must remember the technology has changed. And with HE machines.low water levels improves washes. You don't want a machine FULL of water and your clothes 'floating' around. You want all your clothes 'packed' together and let the HE Pods do their thing. For this machine you can hold the deep fill button to add more water during the wash if your uncomfortable but the machine might still drain the excess water because remember it's a smart machine and is calibrated to give you the best possible wash. Hope this helps.

We purchased this set. The only way it fills the water to the top is the Bulky setting. Also, if you select deep rinse, it will rinse and agitate as opposed to filling up with water then draining immediately after if you leave it on rinse or extra rinse. Hope this helps

I should do a video on this washer, because this video explained nothing. Read your manual, like I had to, to find out why the deep fill didn’t work on the normal cycle. You won’t understand why they didn’t give you that option, but you’ll learn that it won’t work, so do not use it if you want your clothes to get wet while they get washed! I’ve been very frustrated with this new washer that I bought, but I’m managing with it without many issues thankfully so far. But I had to babysit it and stare through that glass, read the minimal info in the manual and learn how this thing functions. I used the normal wash once for a normal load of clothes and I will never use it again. Pretty ridiculous when you don’t want to use a regular normal cycle for a normal load of clothes, but whatever. Quick wash cycle with a deep fill option for me is the best option outside of bulky items like bedding, comforters, coats.

I have the same washing machine, after a year of use it has a leak inside, when I open the flexdispense tray it is full of water, do you know what the reason is or what I can do?

@barbaraprice3527 On most GE Profile models, the Normal cycle doesn’t always deep fill unless you specifically select the Deep Fill option. Be sure to check your settings before starting the cycle!
Is it normal for the barrel to move excessively when spinning to drain? It wabbles and it makes way too noise and hits the inside wall making a banging noise.
@kristinemejia2942 If the barrel is moving excessively and making loud noises, it could mean the washer is unbalanced or overloaded. Try redistributing the clothes evenly. If that doesn't help, the washer might not be level or could need servicing.
So I have a question that I hope someone can help me with. I like to pause the machine when I have a quilt to wash. And get my hands in there and push on the blanket and make sure it really gets clean good. But for some reason, when I do this, the water empties out of my machine when I unpause it. And it's not even done washing yet. After all the water is completely emptied, it starts washing the blanket. There is no water in it. It's completely frustrating. And it's still on wash cycle. How do I keep the water from emptying out and have the machine complete its cycle? This machine does not even clean very well. That's why I opened the lid up and push the quilt up and down to get it clean better. But I don't understand that once I shut the lid the water empties out. And then once all the waters out its washes with nothing in there and rips up my quilt. Please help
🤔 I’m pretty sure I’ve paused mine before to do the same and I don’t recall it doing that but I’m also a fairly new owner trying to learn how to best use all the features myself. Honestly it’s been difficult to find much online so if i were you I would contact a GE customer support line & have your model & serial # ready. It could be an easy fix but it could also possibly be a defect in which case surely they’d send techs to fix it for ya! Hope you’re able to figure it out quickly! In the meantime if I were you I think I’d just select the power clean option til you figure it out.
When you think you are starting the machine again hitting the pause button, you may be actually turning it off? But then why it continue washing? Hmm. I know when I lift my lid for any reason, when I close the lid it starts back up on its own. But before it does it shoots out two Spitz of water, not all of it though. It will do that every time the lid is lifted and closed again. It does not drain all the water out though, and I do not have to hit the pause button. I don’t hit the pause button before I lift the lid either
Also, for quilts you should use the bulky cycle. That cycle uses more water, and I believe you can add additional deep fill water to the wash cycle. This machine is a little ridiculous, but I only had mine a few months so I’m making the best of it.
@davidpace7914 To reset the washer, try unplugging it for a few minutes and plugging it back in. If it's still locking and unlocking without starting, it might be a software or control board issue. You may need to contact GE customer service for further troubleshooting.

How to clean the filter? My clothes are smelling. I just moved into my new house with this machine, it's hard to use.
@AnaPaula-tx8hn I'm not sure, but can you please subscribe to my channel? After years of making videos I am so close to making it to my FIRST 100K SUBSCRIBERS!!
Could you please make a video on where the filter is? How often should it be changed?
Is there a filter on this washing machine
@user-lk8yn6im9h I'm not sure.
I believe you have to hold the Deep fill button for at least 3 seconds
@Rocket9944 thanks for the tip!
I just bought one and set up everything. It barely moves and the timer is all over the place. Like I have no estimate. It makes a noise, stops cycling then does it again.
@brianflores2380 did you ever figure it out?
@@DIYPinto No. I returned it and bought a basic normal washer.
Thanks, that was great!
You’re welcome! Can you you please subscribe to my channel? I will appreciate it a lot!
Mine is now stuck in sensing mode and won't dispense any water! What can I do?
Have you tried resetting the machine or checking if there are any blockages in the water line?
@@DIYPinto Not sure how to reset the machine. Any tutorials on how to do that? I'll check the water line too
power switch maybe
Why does this washer add water when you have it on the drain and spin setting?
I had the same problem today too!
@durden2480 I'm not sure.
You just dont throw the cloth in you got to arrange it arround the agitator, cloth got to balance if not it will spin voilently sounds horrible
@lisamanning586 thanks for the tip!
Thk you
Throwing it in has never been an issue. That’s your OCD talking.
Mines is making a bad noise? Because I my daughter put too much cloth in it😫
Very helpful😊
Thank you! Can you you please subscribe to my channel? I will appreciate it a lot!
Can anyone share how to get it fill up!? Not enough water. 😤
Maybe it's shy and just needs some encouragement to fill up!
Figured it out
And that’s all that counts Queen
@@glyndapulliam9295 what did you do because I think the little water that comes out doesn’t even wet my clothes
@@judithaguirre3571long press the DEEP FILL option. However, it doesn't work on REGULAR dunno why?? I use Jeans, bulky for heavier loads
Why was it 50 min on auto you cycled through then on auto it’s 30 min? Mine same settings as yours is 50 min not 30
@joshuabeiswenger2141 I'm not sure.
Does anyone know how to turn the sound off so it doesn’t beep every time you push a button or turn the knob?!
@tiffanydillehay661 did you ever figure it out?
7:37 You cannot choose deep fill option on that normal cycle. So I will never use it, because it uses way too little water for washing. Stupid cycle!!!
@territalk1893 thanks for the tip!
Thank u so much
I just got mine and I was about to died😂😂😂😂this is to modern
Thanks ur video help me a lot
You're welcome
Why won't the washer filll up
@adrianjenkins105 did you ever figure it out?
We bought this stupid washing machine. So here we go ! Absolutely the worse washing machine we have ever owned. Clothes are wrinkled like never before! Multiple clothes ruined ! Washing colored clothes PINK is somehow getting on some of the clothes. Lowes will not take it back !!!! We are calling GE this next week and please DO NOT but this kind of washing machine !!!
jason, what washer did you finally get? Also, can you please subscribe to my channel? After years of making videos I am so close to making it to my FIRST 100K SUBSCRIBERS!!
The clothes wrinkled probably bc u put the spin cycle on high
Mines doesn’t even do anything. It will fill with water and do the sensing thing and then don’t wash. It just waste water. This device sticks
Great washer!
I just bought it and used it and I freaked out. 😮
Same here 😂😂😂

This is the worst washer on the planet have had mine for a year and it’s absolutely trash!
@joeroberle why do you say that?
Also, can you subscribe for more great content? I will really appreciate it!
Just bought one and I will tell you right now, save your money. It's a POS. If washing a large load, your clothes will just stay still and barely move or even be covered with water. You can wash clothes better by hand. It doesn't agitate or move the clothes at all.
Thanks for sharing
Thank you
Use deep fill. That’s why it’s there. Buy the agitator version aswell
My sentiments exactly
Loading it to full it doesn't have an agitator. Mine works just fine.
This specific model has been horrible. It gets stuck all the time, won’t drain, stops working, resets by the manual, still has issues, having to empty by hand to stop oxy damage & the warranty is going to run out unless I give them another 250 for insurance. DO NOT RECOMMEND
@charlestaylor3561 thanks for the tip!
Excellent explanation. However, I do NOT recommend that, even with warranty, they didn't want to replace it. The worst product from GE.
@angelaflow6981 thanks for the tip!
Great washer, no problems, only wrinkles if you leave clothes in washer overnight. You should lightly load clothes into dryer ASAP when washer through. Nice machine!
You have to keep putting Camera back and forth on the name of it. Like if we are idiots. We are watching your videos to see if we like it and make a great decision
@eyeseeyou68 sorry to hear that.
Got not much out of it 😢

I have this washer, hate it! noisy 😮I stand and watch it wash put in a full load on normal it does not fill to the cloths and it washes it very aggressively😮with barely any water in it. I don’t recommend this one.
I just got it. Works fine. It's not suppose to use that much water it's smart washer like old ones. Not noisy at all I have agitator
@laurie1442 sorry to hear that.
Repeating is so obnoxious.
Exactly
@eyeseeyou68 what's obnoxious?
The worse washer you can buy I promise you
@rahmondmalone5415 sorry to hear that.

I’m crying while watching this. The water will not fill properly. Been talking to ABC warehouse & GE ALLL DAY😢
Yes it is THE WORSE
Dude, I think you wife shoulda helped you. But, I did learn a few things ❤
@gooch0607 too funny! lol.
this machine and dryer are really loud
@sharonbassell3810 sorry to hear that.
You have to hold the deep fill for 3 seconds the manual says to work. I gave a thumbs down because I was hoping to see how to turn that feature off, and you didn't go over that.. I'm guessing it goes off atomically with each cycle (hopefully) Plus repeating at least 4 times in the beginning of the video got annoying. Just my opinion
Thanks for sharing. Can you please subscribe to my channel? I will really appreciate it!
I still have no clue how to soak

Didn't explain Download option, the deep fill option, or water level option. HE focused on showing GE profile logo 5 times. Useless tutorial.
@rickbustos1464
Sorry the tutorial didn’t cover everything! I’ll take your feedback into account and aim to cover more options like the Download, Deep Fill, and water level settings in a future video.
GE PROFILE !!! GGEEE PROFIIILLLE!!!!!!!!
@edwintorres9266 I agree with you!
GE- GE PROFILE. I REPEAT GE-GE PROFILE WASHING MACHINE.
@davewhite9828 exactly
The movement of your video made me queasy!
@kmaddox6857
Sorry about that, I’ll work on it.
This washer has given my family nothing but the blues the five months we’ve had it. Water keeps leaking out of the bottom. The drum bangs around violently and the cycles no longer complete. Complete waste of money.
Really?! Even with no agitator?
@pjeffuller sorry to hear that
@@DIYPinto We we’re finally able to get it fixed and it’s working better.

Stop with the ‘GE..profile’ crap!! So annoying.

This machine is terrible! It doesn't get your clothes clean, the water levels aren't high enough to wash, the machine makes terrible noises, and it shakes violently!!
