I don't understand the point of the smart washing machine. What you're going to get is an app that tells you your washing is done, and you can start the washing cycle from the app. You're already there; why not just do it there? not to mention the terrible track record of IoT devices in terms of security.

Our clothes are coming out of the washer still ULTRA wet. there is no water in the washer itself, but it's like the spin cycle is not spinning good enough to get the water off the clothes. am i not doing something right???? when I put it on "spin and drain" there is no water to drain, and I can hear the machine trying to drain water. Then before it starts the spin it says "Balancing" then when it starts spinning it's not going fast enough in my opinion (I do have the spin setting all the way up). Once it starts spinning "fast", it's bouncing all over the place. more bouncing and knocking than spinning!
Hello, We're sorry to hear your clothes are still wet after a spin cycle. Thank you for letting us know in detail of the issue. In some cases, unbalanced loads can cause the washer to not perform at its best. We recommend stopping the machine and redistribute the load by hand. Furthermore, we recommend viewing the following troubleshooting article here: spklr.io/6053WBXz. Regarding the washer bouncing and knocking around, ensure the washer is level. The washer needs to be level and sitting on a good, solid floor. The more the legs are extended, the shakier the washer will be during operation. Please view the follwing troubleshooting articles here: Top Load Washer: spklr.io/6051WBXT. Front Load Washer: spklr.io/6052WBXp. If you find the issue persist after troubleshooting, we recommend having a technician come by to take a closer look. You can schedule service by calling 1-800-432-2737 or online here: spklr.io/6054WBXM. Take care, SH
Thanks for choosing GE Appliances! If you need assistance with choosing the water level, we're happy to help. Could you please send us the model number of your washer? Thanks! -SK
Ok I have the GE profile set washer and Dryer that has Alexa. Does the Alexa on the washer and dryer communicate with my other echo devices. Example. It is cheaper to run appliances at night than in the day. So traditionally I wash my cloths at night. I loaded the washer earlier in the day. I told the echo to start the washing machine and nothing happened . Do the washing machines Alexa communicate with Amazon Alexa's. I have the app and it is running fine on my phone. Other than that I think love the machines, just had them for one weekend. PS nice bloopers

Hi John, thanks for reaching out to us about your washer. The Department of Energy (DOE) sets standards for washer water usage. Over the years, the amount of allowable water usage has been reduced. With washers using less water and energy, you will no longer see a wash basket full of water. Most washers are now programmed with load sensing to adjust water levels based on the cycle and load size, so the amount of water used will vary. If you'd like more water to be used, please select the Deep Fill option on your model. We hope this helps! -SK
I too am the same way and have a hard time believing that such little water is being used about three loads in and still can’t wrap my head around sad to say these might not stick around long and may switch over to speed queen you get all the old school tech in new school way as well if that makes any sense
I purchased a large (5.0) washer to replace a 6 year old Samsung front loader. Imagine my shock when the clothing (medical scrubs) were being agitated barely damp and then came out still funky. Deep fill is barely a difference, but apparently, all work clothing will be on the deep fill selection. There needs to be a common sense manual water adjustment available FFS!

We have cleaned the removable lint trap itself but there is lint building up in the back behind the trap. I didn't know if this would eventually become an issue? It looks like it would eventually become an obstruction. The filter design is awful - we have Dyson vacuum with bunch of attachments and nothing fits the filter opening especially that deep. Please help as this product is not giving us any help with our washer dryer experience. The app is useless and for over 6 months owning this machine no user experience improvements were made especially with cycle delay cycle. We cannot set local time for the delay cycle to start. Counting hours is horrible! Your competitor LG just released a new cobmo washer and dryer and they have energy monitoring app with power consumption, overnight cycle scheduling with local time selection and not counting hours like GE. Shame on you for being behind your competitors and releasing poor products and not providing any support or improvements over 12 months since the product release!
It's amazing how far laundry technology has come 😍
We just got the same model, do you have any clue how to use the agitator? How much do you fill it? We can’t find any info on it yet
Hi, we'd be happy to help with this. Could you please send us the model number of your washer? Thanks. -SK
