You can download the manual for your specific model in a pdf file from GE's website.
Sometimes washer manuals are inside taped to the wall
My old machine has instruction under the lid. Sry useful. I don’t wana pull out a pamphlet

We just bought this unit and we love it. At least now that I have figured out how to get it set the way I want. It cleans great and I take back everything negative I ever said about it, lol. 😂
I just bought one from home Depot I Don't understand how this damn thing works I mean it's not filling up entirely took me five hours to wash 1 load and that was after it started spitting water out. New technology gone berserk

Thanks for the video however my owners manual recommends adding the laundry detergent or pods on top of the load rather than adding it to the bottom of the washer. Why is this?

Thanks much. Mine was just installed today and maintenance did not leave the manual. Can you give that specific model name so I can try finding it online? It's in a tight corner so I cannot access the back either to see anything.

I just bought this washer. How come I have to push rhe fabric softner and the on button to turn it on? Why cant I just push rhe ON button. Also: Could you show the washer running? To me it is quite noisy, so Im not sure its the way its supposed to be or not. Also it seems like no matter how how well I put the clothing in, the washer becomes unbalanced during the spin cycles. Thoughts?

Mine has an extra knob for 2nd which and deep fill second rinse. Can. You please explain to me what this means ? Will it be rinsed at all ? Will it rinse 2 times im confused 😅
@vivian1389 possibly it means being extra rents so you'll have clothes and a really well rinsed
Something wasnt clear to me. Do we add detergent where we add fabric softener or where does it go? Same as pods just dump in?

He said to add detergent directly into the drum (where you put your clothes). So directly into the drum before you put your clothes in.
@malevolence8243 fabric softener is usually added to the fabric softener compartment. Detergent is added usually to the drum of the washer before adding the clothes in top loading washing machines.

I just had this set installed , & I notice that when it’s supposed to be washing the clothes it makes this wierd winding noise it doesn’t sound like it’s washing but the middle part moves & twirls. Idk this washer is confusing

I just purchased this same washer today. And it's also making the same winding noise
So I’ve had my set a week I washed 2 loads started a 3rd but it didn’t complete the washing cycle my fabric softener is still in the center of the washer so this is how I know it didn’t complete.. I’m so frustrated with this and these instructions are useless the washer does sound like it’s winding but not agitating

For me, the most bad experience so far. Once we were installing the washer, we noticed it was a used one. Also, I didn't receive the installation kit.
Bought the set, and the dryer was used as well, with a disgusting used filter and the best part, stopped working at the 3rd load.. the worst experience..
It sucks, I absolutely hate this piece of crap, I wish I read the reviews before purchasing it.

My new apartment has this washer, it was a struggle at first. However, I wanted to soak a white cloth. I just can't figure it out. I did paus, but few min. later it drained the soapy water😢

mine dosent have load size. So it will pour the same water for all amounts of loadings?
You must have a auto sensor that does that for you. They say not to keep lifting the lid while it is filling, as that may confuse the sensor somehow.

my GF just got this washer. setting to super load the tub only fills half way. That doesn't seem right. only half the clothes are in the water. the agitator is going to ruin the clothes.

i have one, i pour liquid detergent on the inside but i notice after the washing machine is finished, i still see the liquid detergent in the middle, whats going on?

Bleach is hard on clothes, they won't last long, so I never use it! I have read about the cycles & watched this & other videos, and still find the "cycle" to select confusing. I've done 2 small loads with my new GE washer so far & the biggest problem is lint left on the clothes. I just re-washed a load with more water, but not the deep rinse, and am going to see how it did now. : )

I have this washer and all of a sudden it does not want to start. It lets me choose a mode but then locks and unlocks repeatedly like 5-6 times and never starts. The Pause light also stays blinking. Anyone know what might be wrong

Try unplugging and plugging back in. Resets washer.
I want to fill it with water first, then add detergent and clothes. Is that possible?
@Jane-tn9zu it's usually recommended to add detergent first.
How to load an HE washer-
Step1- load into truck
Step2- drop off at the dumps.

My GE washing machine is a joke! If I have it on hot it barely fills the “HUGE” barrel with water! Same on “warm water”. But fills perfectly on ice cold water and then it doesn’t get the clothes clean at all! So wonder the soap companies are pushing scented laundry soap or scented dryer sheets! We are now installing another hot water line by the washer itself so we can fill the barrel with hot water! Never again GE! I will get a “Ringer washer” (yes, they are still out there,) before I ever buy a Ge washing machine again!

I too have the same model, and it's the worst washer I ever had !!! Shame on you, GE ! I'll NEVER buy another washer from you. The only reason I bought it in the first place was because it has an agitator. My whites come out so grey it's ridiculous. I've tried every kind of detergent, including Tide, to no avail. And that lock lid is the most annoying thing ever. 😠

Speed wash is really dumb. Just let it go thru at its normal cycle. If anything, in time it will throw the mechanism off.

Ahhh yes, this is a good machine when the installer came back and fixed the hose so it is now higher than the drain! I had a house fire. Everything smelled like fire. This machine has stood up to the challenge. Thank you for the video.
My machine wets the load but does not fill. The drum has no water in it. This machine is awful. I do not want to keep it. I want my money back.
