@Jack-iu5um not really. It's literally the same case UEFA brought. It's not 115 separate charges. The charges are multiplied and stacked. There is no actual evidence. It's mostly supposition. Seeing as though the sponsorship accusations Etihad is going public with its accounts, the whole case is going to crumble, It makes you wonder how did they come up with the charges without any physical evidence. Oh and because it's stacked, it's not disprove 1 you have 114 more to disprove, it's disprove 1 and the entire structure of the charges collapse.

As per Everton, remember FFP is on a 3-year rolling basis and their 1st deduction was based on 2 years ago while the most recent is based on the most recent year that just closed in which they breached FFP again and hence the 2-points. I think the whole thing is a shambles and without an actual framework for punishment, it makes everything look very suspicious as per the Everton fans' rightful perspective for asking questions. I think the PL have shot themselves in the foot with this by not being transparent with their reasons why a punishment is given and to what degree. A framework would solve a lot of it, yet they (all the PL teams) seem not to be interested in doing so otherwise, it would have been done.

In the Everton case the PL keep rushing into one mistake after the next. They wanted to hit the club with 17 points deduction to relegate them. That would have illustrated to the Government they can run their own house without outside interference. The PL didn't bank on an appeal panel finding their recomendation to be illegal. Now they rush through a second deduction against Everton desperate to avoid the season ending with unresolved appeals. In doing so the panel on this current case couldn't agree with the PL viewpoint on some parts of this hearing because the PL didn't give them enough time to hear the case. So it would appear Everton will have another deduction next season or whenever they return to the Premier League. Teams like Luton might have something to say about that. This whole process gets more amd more messy for Masters and his cronies. What have they got hidden that is so damning to keep the eyes of the government out so desperately.

Why’s nobody talking about the fact that Manchester United have been charged and fined for breaking FFP rules this season. The same way that Arsenal and Newcastle in the signings of players on loan with a 12 month buyout clause is a joke to get around the FFP rules. Everton were constantly advised by the league that they were in a position to be in trouble and they still signed players who were influential in them avoiding relegation.

The Premier League allowed Spurs to waive the stadium costs as regards PSR, but are holding Everton to account for the very same thing.
They (The PL) also changed the rules at the start of the season, in response to the clubs threatening legal action, which is how they have managed to charge Everton twice in one season.
The PL (over the two charges) recommended Everton be deducted 17 points total...
The rules will change again next season and will probably mean a financial sanction is the appropriate punishment.

The reason that the PL isn’t publishing a table of penalties for the degrees of overspend is because each case of overspending will be different. Some will have mitigating circumstances, others won’t.
If for instance a club overspends by £10m more than the allowed and is a genuine oversight, should that be the same penalty as a club overspending by £5m that does it intentionally?
The intentional overspend is a smaller amount but the intention is different.
In City’s case, they have 115 charges to answer. Everton had a small number and it still took two seasons for it to be sanctioned. It’s clear that the greater the number of charges, the longer the timeframe to punish.
I don’t think the PL are trying to protect City at all. If they got immediately relegated due to the sanctions and had to sell all of their players, the Premier League won’t notice their absence. They have a tiny fan base. The plastics would soon move to another team.

Everton would now be sitting 2 points below Luton and Forest, third from bottom, but with a game in hand. What a relegation fight we’d have had on our hands - with Everton still having both Luton and Forest to play!
As it is, with just a 2 point deduction, Everton to stay up easily. Luton and Forest to fight it out to the last day of the season when:

Only asking because if any team wants a new stadium, are they to basically have the cash in the bank first? That would never happen in real life. So no team would ever improve their place if stuck in a stadium as old as Goodson. We all can’t be given stadiums on the cheap, Man City and West Ham in mind. Did those two teams not get a sporting advantage by not having to spend large amounts on building costs so money could be spent on players? Sure Arsenal, Spurs, Sunderland, Brentford and all recent moved teams would agree!

Everton are facing a third PSR charge but will get punished for that this year due to interest payments on the stadium and the premier league have said they would not be able to conclude this in time before the end of the season. “Forest Gained a sporting advantage” how?! The amount Forest could spend was less, because of the 2 years in the championship. Forest were at a disadvantaged from their promotion and favourites to go down! We sold Johnson 3 months after June 1st, he played 3 games. So we breached for a total of 3 months. Everton’s has gone on for years with a higher amount to spend. Hope this helps.

Video does not match the Header... 20 clubs make up the premier league and the question has to be... is the PL competent?? How many years to bring the charges against City... the serious charges are pretty much the same charges UEFA brought and we know how that ended... Kangaroo court, then when it was put in a proper court... no evidence! Premier League only brought the 115 charges under pressure... obviously no evidence or it would have been heard long ago!
Now we have a situation where the rules brought in by fools... are pretty much restricting every club... January transfer window or should I say Loan window.... Either clubs are caught in the overspend or cannot buy because they would be in overspend! The clubs caught in it are then forced to sell the academy players!
The PL could not have made a bigger mess and when you drill down, this started as trying to stop over borrowing and long term debt and remarkably (Spurs & Man Utd) turned it into a rule by where your revenue governed your spend... so no matter a club owners wealth, he cannot spend his own money whilst some clubs are a billion in debt, but can spend as they have high revenues!
Now as a City fan you may think I'd have a problem with it... but all I ask is put City to one side and tell me FFP/PSR is good for the other PL clubs, it simply is not... the question is always.... but what about City... and I understand that... But lets say... what you hope happens and we are put in the conference.... that still leaves you with this FFP/PSR and it is not going away, only getting worse... and my last point! Remember City have consistently voted against these FFP/PSR rules as they knew what would happen and exactly that has happened and people still want to slag City off... Had you followed and voted with City, there would be no Everton, NF, Aston Villa, Newcastle and many other clubs strapped and punished by FFP/PSR....

When everyone understands the football governing body works the same as big pharma and the healthcare sector and in fact our government then this will be less surprising and expected. Ignorance isn’t bliss

The FA as an organisation & not absolutely not transparent . REGARDLESS Of which Team , they should never ever be Favouratisum . FA appears to be focus on certain Teams already establishing that the Teams reconises they are incompetent within certain areas surrounding FFP RULES & FA CAPATILISE ON THIS . However MAN City , Chelsea, They Should MEVER EVER BE DISCRIMINATION, INTIMIDATION TOWARDS CERTAIN TEAMS . AND THIS IS EXACTLY WHICH IS PLAYED OUT BY THE FA . SIMPLY BECAUSE THE FA HAS BEEN RELUCTANT IN ADDRESSING CHELSEA & MAN CITY UNDER THE UMBRELLA OF FAIRNESS WHICH ALL TEAMS HAS TO ABIDE AND NOT FOCUS ON THE ALLEGED SMALL TEAM WHEREBY YOU CAN INTIMIDATE .

City wont get done 'til they've won the league 10 times in a row and the champions league 6 time s, then they'll get a 3 point deduction suspended for a season.
