  • How to Alleviate the Symptoms of Menopause? 48 years old is the average age when women begin to experience the symptoms of menopause. Menopause starts when a woman doesn't have her period for one year. During this time, women may have unpleasant symptoms connected to the hormonal changes in their body. It might seem like something from the distant future, but the truth is, if you know how to get over it early, you can live through this period with comparative ease.

    SUMMARY
-Mood swings are connected with hormonal changes, but it's still possible to alleviate this condition. 50 minutes of aerobic exercise 4 times a week will make mood swings less prominent.
-To make hot flashes less noticeable, you should avoid caffeine, spices, and alcohol. And if you're a smoker, you will do yourself a favor by excluding this habit from your daily routine.
-Sleeping problems occur at different stages of menopause and correlate with depression and hot flashes at every stage. Once you deal with these symptoms, your sleep should get back to normal.
-If a woman goes to the doctor to get tested for depression early enough, she’ll get all the necessary help to reduce and possibly even eliminate the symptoms.
-Women who experience more negative emotions do worse on memory tests than women who manage to stay more positive during menopause.
-To reduce any potential problems, women should take good care of their cardiovascular system during the period of menopause.
-Stay constantly hydrated. Be very careful about how much salt you consume. Try to get some physical exercise every day to prevent water retention.
-Physicians can prescribe hormonal therapies that level out the changes that occur during the premenopause and menopause time periods and cause headaches.
-Physical activity, yoga, and meditation can help fight stress symptoms.
-Race and ethnicity played a major role in the decline of sexual function: African-American women experienced a significantly smaller decline, and women of Japanese descent experienced a much greater decline when compared with white American women.
-Eat enough dairy products to get the necessary calcium. Get fiber from bread, rice, fresh fruit, and cereals. Cut down on sugar and salt to ease your transition during menopause.

It’s kind of hard to get no fewer than eight hours of sleep when you wake up every hour drenched in sweat from night sweats. It’s easy to talk about what you can do for menopause if you’ve never been through it. And you said getting through it with ease. I don’t think so

Dear Kristine I hope your feeling much better. I’am 33 & I’am getting exactly what you’ve said daily for a whole year now & I’am really struggling & don’t have courage to go to the GP. As during a admission when I did mention it they just fobbed it off & said your going so nothing to worry about & that’s it 🥺 I feel disgusting even though it doesn’t smell at all

Please stay on top of your research because so much changes over the years. I’m peri menopause and it just started 4 months ago and it hasn’t stopped. I thought I was sick. All related to my loss of hormones. One can still have their cycle and go into peri menopause. Proactive approach is best.

This time for me is horrible, migraines are horrible. I now must get botox for them. Hot flashes make me physically sick to the point of passing out. I change clothes 2 times each night, I sleep on towels.

Having trouble breathing, I suffer with anxiety & heart. I can't visit a Dr unless I go to the emergency & pay out of pocket. I don't have a job,I don't work anymore. I'm home with my granddaughter & son who's 11,13 yrs. I am their caregiver since they were babies. The hubby can't help himself he has knee problems,he has trouble walking/ moving around. Depressed 😭😭😣😣

Went through menopause at 39 never had any of these symptoms. And doctors vary on this some say there is no tests to tell, others say you have to wait a year before you are through but after a year without means you are done and through it. Doctors cannot agree.
