I’ve been doing legs lifting regularly for more than 10 years. I can vouch for its effectiveness. I have experienced almost all of the benefits you’ve mentioned pus many more. I post this in the hope that many people will make leg lifting a part of their exercise routine. The benefits are incredible.
Thank you for sharing this with us

I injured my tailbone about a yr n 1/2 ago and noticed that towards the end of the day I felt a horrible weight around my calfs. They felt like they were going to burst. I had never heard of these exercises but I started doing them on my own because it was the only thing thst brought relief to my back. It would reverse all the pain & inflammation that I was feeling. I will continue doing them for the rest of my life. I notice a great & wonderful difference & will start power walking again.

This wasn't considered exercise when I was in the medical field 30 years ago, but we encouraged our patients to do this nightly for 30 minutes. This is good for the heart and obviously lessens pressure on legs and major joints. Particularly helpful for jobs that require standing for long periods of time. Less likely to need TED hose as you age.

I have spinal stenosis in the low back and venous insufficiency (narrowing of veins in my legs). Lefting my legs like this and over the back of the sofa, is something I have done for years. It eliminates pain from the cold, muscle ache, and works quickly. So i agree there are benefits to this pose. I also use an icomfort bed that always me to adjust my head and legs positions while sleeping. On a bad pain day this is the best way to relax.

But at the end of the workout i couldn't feel my legs due to that cramp. It really felt good and relaxing. Did it for 15 minutes, try it out yourselves guys !

I recommend lying flat and doing repetitions of 10-second alternative leg raises (other knee bent). Keep raised leg straight with foot at 90°. Raise it until you feel the tugging on your hamstring (under your buttock) - but don't strain or overdo it. Hold for 10 secs and then change legs and aim for a minimum of 10 repetitions each leg. You should not feel soreness if you do it properly without imposing stress. You can do it on your bed.
The benefits? Gradually stretching your hamstrings over time can help with lower back problems and particularly eliminate buttock pain. It cleared up my own long-standing hip bursitis pain first easing it in about 3 days and then eliminating in a week. It works for me and I still keep repeating the exercise for prevention. Try it if you need to, and good luck.

Takes many years of practice to fulfill full splits.
I still can't do straight 180 degree splits. I been doing stretching and splits since I was a teen (late bloomer), and with the bowleggedness I had growing up went away over years, but still never achieved a full split.
But man it feels good what I can achieve tho.

This is, due to a Sinus infection, that l had, had for more than 3 months, however today l walked up stairs with little effort. Very interesting, just need to see how l fair with walking 20 yards. . tomorrow.😣😩

don't know you but wanted to tell you. Jesus loves you John 3:16 John 14:6 (KJV) "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." Luke 13:5 (KJV) "I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish." Isaiah 43:11 (KJV) "I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour." Romans 6:23 (KJV) "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." To have Christ as your saviour. Truly believe in the Son of God, REPENT and be saved 🙏❤ repent and believe the Gospel. Repent and be born again. ❤ John 3:3 "Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." KJV
Hebrews 2:3 "How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;"
Amen. Jesus is LORD. JESUS IS GOD. Come to Christ and receive the free gift of God.
      Revelation 1:8 KJV
I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
