Well I lied not my first cook-I made wings first but no video-yet! :)

You probably already do this but usually with drippings I put a cornstarch/ milk mix in to thicken the gravy. Never lumps, no need to whisk. Just taste the drippings first and season as needed before you add the cornstarch mix.

When you remove the little plug from inside the lid, immediately put it inside the thermometer holder. Don’t leave it sitting on the counter. If you lose that plug, you won’t be able to use the Foodi.

After using the 8 qt ninja nearly every single day for 2 years, my husband got me the one lid with the thermometer. Still sitting on the counter! I can't bring myself to make it dirty lol. Made split pea soup last night and ribs with potatoes and carrots the night before in my old one. Thanks for the video!

Hi Loretta, I thought the same thing-lol. There is no screen like the older foodi Try the steam crisp function I was surprised on how it well it works. I did chicken breasts, chicken legs and wings just experimenting and they turned out great.
Looking forward to using this new one more. Thanks Loretta!

A nice new gadget Lisa. Not bad. Yes sometimes between better than bouillon and gravy mix it can be too salty. Yes also my New York friend, it is about 16 degrees here, a feels like below zero right now! ❤️

I LOVE pot roast. I don’t have this one lid Foodi, but I do have the Deluxe Tendercrisp Pressure Cooker Foodi, and the great thing is this recipe can be adapted! Thank you for the tips and the demonstration!

Think its the same except for a few new functions and of course the one lid. I did notice the sear/saute seemed to be hotter than my older 8 qt foodi. Thanks Tonya!

what a beautiful new foodi from Ninja. I hope it will appear in the Netherlands soon . but I suspect it will take some time. because the gridle isn't here yet either. What you have made looks very good . And I will make it for sure . Greetings from the Netherlands gea.

Hi Gea! Great to hear from you. I don't know why they don't unleash the new products to the world all at the same time. Kinda a bummer for those who do not have access to the new appliances.
      Thanks Gea!

Pot roast is basically stew but its funny how I can take or leave pot roast but love stew. Will be making a stew this week but I'm caught between pressure cooking or trying out the slow cooker/crock pot function. May have to try both. Thanks Peg!

This is the weirdest cooking tutorial I've ever seen. The whisk is in your car? It's a lot of clumps here, I should have had a whisk..
It actually made it somewhat entertaining so good on you though
