There are two different types of radiators on the market. Both have a different mounting (support). Both types can be installed on evo / non-evo engines. It is just important that you use the according mounting.
Dear kubilay, the radiator for the non-gearbox MAX engines (MICRO / MINI / JUNIOR / SENIOR) is specifically designed to be used with the bracket attached directly to the engine. If the powerpack doesn't fit onto the chassis properly because of the side bumper, please contact your chassis supplier if there is another side bumper available or use a higher engine socket which might help to fit the powerpack. Only the DD2 radiator is specifically designed for use on the other side of the kart.
Guys I just bought a rotax max kart and was wondering if it is normal that I need 2 layers of tape to maintain my engine at 60 ish degrees C, when outside temperature is around 12 to 15 degrees, and it takes me 2 to 3 laps to get it to 45 degrees C . Thanks in advance !
