    While the local "mountains" are name that way... we locals DO NOT consider them to be mountains. We consider them to be HILLS as the real mountains can be found by driving West, East, and North of the Tri-Cities.

    You left out quite a bit like golf, camping, skiing, national and state parks, and a 4 hour drive to the ocean.

    How far are the tri cities from Walla Walla?

      About an hour drive, maybe a little less. Depending on where you are coming from in Tri Cities, it's about 55 miles with some some 4-lane and some 2-lane highway in between.

      I'd say there aren't really any bad ones, they're all pretty good and are surrounded by safe neighborhoods.

    If you buy a home with a swimming pool what period of time could you actually use an unheated pool per year?

    • @GlenGosch
      @GlenGosch  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Pool season in Tri Cities is somewhere around Mid-March/early April to October, depending on the year. Many people here do not heat their pool at all. I have a friend that uses solar covers and he says his pool gets to over 80 degrees with those alone, but he uses the heater at the beginning of the pool season, and at the end. I've talked to another friend that does not have a heater, but wishes she did, guessing it would give her another month of swimming at the beginning or end of the year. So I guess April-ish to September on most years would be a good guess on the window. Probably depends a little on how much shade the pool gets and all that too. Hope this helps a little.
