Please don’t move here. The crime is also out of control. Buy a home defense shotgun and get lessons on how to use one if you decide to move here… you’ll need it. The thing is the west coast has been labeled as far and away from places like the eastern seaboard, but now it’s a second migration of people. Those people are finding out there is no infrastructure or resources as would be in say Boston, NYC, Philly, etc.
the highways here have not been updated since 1962. Most parts of the interstate system in Washington is the original pavement laid in the 50’s and 60’s.

There are very few best places to live in Washington State due to the politics (#1 reason, in my opinion), the taxes, the cost of living, horrible traffic, homelessness, drugs, crime, and even some schools. Don't fool yourself- the best places to live in Washington State are the extreme rural areas, but you won't find a lot of available high paying jobs unless you work from home or don't mind a long commute. I grew up in this state and the last ten years has destroyed what was once a beautiful state. I'll sell you my house for $1.5 million dollars. Just keeping up with inflation around here.

It’s depressing and cold. I have to take 10,000 units of vitamin D every day because my hair and teeth started falling out. I wish we could afford to leave but rent is like $3000 a month here and we’re too poor. A couple bags of groceries is at least $100. There are tents and broken RVs everywhere because everyone is poor here. Please don’t let this video fool you. People are fleeing in droves. And how come every bit of this video shows sunny days when we very rarely have sunny days here?!

this guy is sooo wrong. Don't even get me started with home pricing. WAY, WAY out of touch. Yet this guy says is a steal. No way, plus he doesn't even bring up the crime in most of the cities. Seattle is one of the worst places to live. Crime high and not family friendly. Now dont get me wrong, i like the places, but to live there, hell no. way over priced and the homes are outdated and falling apart. if you want a decent home than plan on spending a ton of money. Just not worth it. and the Politics are a crime in itself. an honest opinion, I would stay out of major cities. look into smaller towns to live in. but home prices are still going to be very high and cheaply built. the construction on homes are cheapest materials and cheapest labor. It is not "You get what you pay for." This TH-cam channel is not one you should be watching if you want to move. Do your research, real research. and the schools, I would be very careful on where you would want your children to go. trust me. be careful. Not true. The east side is subsidized by the west side. Eastern Washington counties annually receive around 750 million bucks more in state revenue distributions than they pay in. I live in Eastern Washington and am always surprised at how few of my fellow east siders are aware of this. They constantly bitch about the west side, but are quite happy to hog much more than their share of state revenues.

If you want to hike you will have to pay to park and most likely get your car broken into
If you like to own guns forget it
Taxes are way high if you happen to pay off your home the taxes will be as much as most rents in the area.
Hey make it sound like the cities that are here are beautiful which they are if you don’t get robbed approached for money or prostitues not to mention the smell of piss in the streets
Don’t be surprised that people are from California and you can see what that has turned into.

Any more, there really isn't anywhere that's decent in WA. Cost of living, crime, excessive taxes, and legislating everything out of existence. Hell, the landscape used to be a draw to people, but now they don't even maintain the roads and hiking trails, half of them are closed due to non-maintenance. So if you're moving to Washington for the hiking, beware that more than half of the roads to hiking trail heads are closed, and the rest require a small 4x4 vehicle jacked up. Besides looking at the mountains, there really is nothing in Washington state unless you are excessively wealthy.

Beautiful state, yes! Living here, not so good! East side may be affordable but only in areas where there are only orchards. The closest store or entertainment is hours away!
West side, over populated, over priced and seriously over taxed!
The government is loaded with corruption! I do not recommend this state!
Personally, If I could afford to move out, I would!

You have to pay more taxes to the state if you want to live here.

Lived in this state all my life and only watched it decay under the relentless assault on values and freedoms by democrat rulers. It only gets worse every year; this is CA north and soon you will not be able to see any difference.

Do your self a favor, this IS a beautiful place but the woke crap here is BAD, real bad, try Idaho great place and the politics are minimal. over half of Washingtons population wants to secede TO Idaho. If my grandchildren were not here neither would I

Idaho has been run by Republicans for decades and therefore common sense still prevails. It doesn't have the "woke" politics and all the bad policies that are the result.

So glad you're happy in Idaho! It's a beautiful state too. It's a great place to vacation. Washington hospitals are full of Idaho residents that are unable to get the healthcare they need in Idaho. Opps!

Funny, you mentioned the Tacoma Narrows Bridge, but showed one in the Tacoma industrial area, several miles North of the Narrows. The Tacoma Narrows bridge actually two bridges these days. And are suspension bridges like t he Golden Gate Bridge.

Don't mention the crime or homeless problems especially in Seattle. I know this is a year old but the fact that the problems in all those cities have escalated since then with all the Dumbocrat control is mind boggling
