I still wonder how they allow the preview video/screens to differ from the actual game. Its a coincidence you mention this game, I was seeing before in the eshop one that I didnt get but thought could be good, its called Train Life and they have bersions of this for famous trains like the Orient Express, I havent played any of these but at least on screens/videos they look better than the one you are reviewing (I know its not the same as subway but well)
I don't think Nintendo have a team who actually vet the games being distributed from their e-shop lol, this isn't the worst example of it. This is the first "Train Sim" I've played in my life, so the only way is up from here lol
@@SwitchStars Its strange to know this, I mean, I used to make games on my own (independent games you know) and I tried to publish a game with Nintendo but they only allowed companies that were well known to them to join and increase their catalogue. Well at least I heard that before, dont know if they changed their policy and they allow anyone in these days

This had potential to be a pretty chill game but they seemed to have ruined that completely. It's on sale right now in the Canadian eshop for $0.39 so I thought I'd look into it. Glad I did, doesn't look worth even that. Thanks for the review!
The switch eshop is one of the biggest fuckups Nintendo ever did. The amount of drivel that gets on there is mind boggling. I haven’t bought games for it in years and I certainly won’t be getting another Nintendo console after this shite. Great review though

Imagine somebody who actually enjoyed playing PowerWash Simulator and couldn’t find a good good train simulator alternative looked at this trailer and purchase it under false pretense that it was like the trailers. Bad outlook all around especially with how popular simulation games are nowadays from what I’be heard.
I bought this for 2 bucks, as my 3yo loves trains, thinking "it's okay even if it's bad". I didn't expect it to be that f-ing bad. It's an utter lazyass garbage piece of dumpster fire not worth even a single cent. My 3 yo loves it though...
There are 5 companies that I know of at the moment who all publish the same types of games, I'm currently doing research to determine who they are and what links them lol.

They're all the same company: Midnight Works, INSTAMARKETINGANDGAME, VG Games, DEZVOLT GAMES, and GOGAME CONSOLE PUBLISHER. 5 company names to thin out their fast ballooning scam products. 5 company names to deceive and confuse consumers. And I bet they'll have a 6th company name soon because that's natural scam progress.
Judging by the gameplay of this game and your review this looks absolute trash, they could've at least put a little more effort in making it but I will say there are some limitations for what the developers can do and what they can't do graphics wise, but I'll give you a point they could've added a better HUD and the screens are decals for god sakes, like don't get me wrong they could've added animated screens. The switch can run most games, but what they were showing on the front page of the e-shop looked like it was going to be a lot of strain onto the Nintendo switch, so they show clickbait images that they took the time to render and decided to trick people into buying this utter trash game basically scamming people out of their money, when I saw it last time it was on sale for £1 doesn't even deserve to have a sale of £1 deserves to have a price of 50p.
