Nice work. Like the in-car shot with external exhaust overlay. You might not want to thank someone for moving over whilst breaking hard before turn in (yellow Renault), nearly carried too much speed there :p
absolutely brilliant content J. wow. Loved the way the car got light coming over the hill climb and we can hear it break traction. sound very cool, camera angles cool. The best content on you tube. It was like the scene from Bullitt. Just raw footage with no talking in those sections. Well done.
one of my favourite cars on one of my favourite tracks, hopefully i’ll be on a trackday with you this year would love to see thing weapon in person james, lovely video 👍
Of course you didn't make a mistake taking your car to Cadwell Park. My favourite race circuit in the UK. Be careful at Hairpin when it rains, especially in autumn when the trees lay down their leaves, many people come a cropper there.
M3 sounds mega. Two tips (not that you're looking for them) but keep your hands on the wheel, don't feed it, this way you know exactly where your wheels are pointing. When you get faster this will become important should you need to correct the car. Secondly, don't say thank you to every driver you pass. it's already acknowledged by the respect of pulling over, you would no doubt do the same for a faster driver. Again, it keeps both hands on the wheel and your mind concentrated.
JayEmm on Cars nout wrong with raising your hand, different matter if you’re racing but manners cost nothing! I always say thanks when people let me through.
Had my go around there yesterday. I found you could carry much more speed into the sweeping left after the pit straight than you think you can. It's deceptively wide
Pretty good groove on @ 3rd lap around for a driver that hasn’t committed the track 100% to memory yet. I wouldn’t want anything with longer legs than your M3 on that track. Aare you WFO throttle on the longer 2 straight-a-ways? Loving the scream of your motor. What temperature/speed ratings are your tires and what’s track temperature?....seems your tires are squalling laterally a little too easily....did you leave some air out of your tires?
Dave I didn't get temp readings from the tyres, I keep them around 33-34 psi warm but may have to reduce that. I was pushing pretty hard and they are a road compound, not track - didn't expect good weather like this for a while so deliberately chose a tyre that I could warm up easily. And yeah WFO for the two straights, by the end of the day I was doing 140+ on them
Did you enjoy cadwell as a track then it's my local track as only being from Grimsby done quite a few rallies there and a track day one of my top 5 tracks
This is your trackiest track car? I have to ask(and I mean no subtext insult here) how is it so quiet inside? Is the car very hushed, or is you lapel microphone just excellent beyond measure? Beautiful track, and nice driving. Love the brake chatter/rumble, noticed it before you mentioned it. Lol, I know it by heart - I have the same song on loop, atm.
That looked like you were having a whale of a time! And that M3 of yours seems like a bit of an animal. Did you manage to get the front wheels a couple of feet in the air over The Mountain, like the British Superbikes do? :-)
Love the car, love the content and you are a likeable chap. But I hate, hate, hate the horrible cheap nasty clicks sound of those paddle shifters... lol They’re probably quite pricey too
Thanks James love your M3 but could you please stop letting go of your steering wheel on the track if you do let go you don't know where the front wheels' are when cornering their grip...
No Apexes were harmed in the making of this video ; )
1:17 hall bends, barn is the last corner before the pit straight. Appreciate the shoutout, E92 looks grippy!
Yeah she did pretty good considering she's on road rubber
Literally just watched the MR2 video before this one! Collab and review each others? On track or not 👀
youre actually a true enthusiast, thats rare nowadays, even rarer for youtubers
Cheers
How lucky you guys are there in UK. You have all sorts of great tracks. This is one of my favourites.
Good to see a rover 200 being tracked
Being an MGR fun I'm thinking of doing a 25/ZR track build this summer
Absolutely!
The tone in Jay's voice in the end, such pure joy.

Well done.
No talking because full concentration needed. Plus it’s a noisy old thing!

Yeah I need to stop feeding the wheel, I noticed it when I watched the video too. Still getting used to the car a bit and doing that on auto pilot

Looks like a cracking day. That M3 certainly gets a move on. Looks like you had a lot of fun.
Had my go around there yesterday. I found you could carry much more speed into the sweeping left after the pit straight than you think you can. It's deceptively wide
Very nice. M3 looks rapid round Cadwell where you'd expect a smaller lighter car to be better suited. Would love to see more trackday vids from JM.
Another great video James. Very jealous and glad to see you're enjoying the car
Beautiful Track! Speed and Sound of the car also great! - Nice Video. Would give several thumbs up if possible.
Cheers Marc

Brilliant video 👍🏻
Top work.......I wrote off my e36 there a loooooong time ago. Got to go back in my 1.6(!) Capri
What a track -What a car - Great stuff Jay!👍😀
Sounds incredible.
Sounds epic at full chat quite a challenging circuit too !
6:02 oh my good lord that sound, the C1 must have been blown off the track from the vibrato
Nice 👍 work James
It looks pretty quick buddy
That's a proper engine sound!
Bloody hell that thing shifts down the straights.
This looks fun.
Next time your there I'd love a ride🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Anytime
@@JayEmmOnCars when are you next down? I'd honestly die to have a ride !
Hi Jay, I have a video on my channel of me doing the rally at Cadwell, considerably slower than you though :)
Cadwell park. Best for small front engine cars I've always found. Or bikes
Yes the hatches did v well
What is that Citroen C1 doing on the track? No complaints about the Rover 200!
Prepping for its next 24 hours of Spa?
@@ImBarryScottCSS, probably!
The car looks like it’s well sorted 👍🏻

I actually did yes
dannyDC2 what a top bloke he is
Really enjoy your videos Jamie, glad you are enjoying that lovely car too! You coming to Bedford on 4th March?
Unfortunately not
Any chance you can confirm what oil temps you are seeing on track please Jay?
Nice vid man, when will there be more GT-4 content?
Filming with it today!
Oooh looks like I got here just in time!

The lapel does a good job of muting the sound

Not quite, tail end got a bit light though!
More 92 track content 👍👍👍
Needs a roll cage 😂 man it's got some waft down the straights 🔉🍺🍺
There's a half cage in back
Haha couldn't see the rear cage lol. is a beast mate
😂 You reeled in that VW pretty quick!
Yes, Clovis, you have made a terrible mistake. But what's that got to do with you taking your M3 to Cadwell Park⁉️🤔🤔🤔
Love the car, love the content and you are a likeable chap.
But I hate, hate, hate the horrible cheap nasty clicks sound of those paddle shifters... lol

Yeah the wheel is extremely pricey!
Very random question but what do you think to the current gen BMW Minis?
Thanks James love your M3 but could you please stop letting go of your steering wheel on the track if you do let go you don't know where the front wheels' are when cornering their grip...
It's something I improved later on. Not quite sure why I was doing it as I know not to do it on track
Minor criticism- don't feed the wheel through your hands
i know, schoolboy error and not sure why I was doing it. Improved in later sessions.
All the gears were changed
This is one of those cars you have to plug your ears for innit
Nope
Have the rod bearing been changed on this?
Yeah
looks like great fun. Lots of underpowered FWD cars on the track!
Fantastic car.
Note to audi s drivers - this is where you come to understeer
Nice vid but click bait title!
She a screamer!
I saw you on y6 bra on the A 14
I don’t know how you can live with the constant annoying click every time you change gear on the paddle shifters 😬
I quite like it
