- The end to a fantastic 2 days of racing with No Limits at Cadwell Park.
Unfortunately the bike jumps out of gear entering Park putting me across the grass but I managed to recover to 4th place at the line setting my PB on the lap after my excursion!
Finished the weekend 2nd Overall and moved myself into 3rd in the championship.

From the start of the front straight to the end of the 2nd straight, you were absolutely reeling that dude up front in every lap.
Great racing,brought back memories of our Sunday morning blasts out with the boys lol

Thanks so much for sharing this video. I live over in the USA and have always wanted to ride Cadwell. This really shows how narrow the track is to me compared to what we are used to. Great race and great video!

Awww dude! Bloody false neutral! What a ride thou and finally an on-board from a great rider. I ride in novice on a cb500 so it's nice to see a 600 being blitzed like this. Great upload bud! And yeah suck with that false neutral.

Nice ride there Tommy. Two questions, 1/ Do you use a speed shifter? and 2/ Do you use road or GP pattern for shifting? With a bit better mid corner speed, I could see mid/low 34's in your Cadwell future. Well done.
Thanks for the comment Geoff! What do you mean by speed shifter? An ignition cut on the way up the gears? It certainly does, it’s also fitted with a blipper for going down the gears. It means I only need to use the clutch for starting the race. I use race shift on all my bikes to save confusion 😂
Subbed , mate im wondering for the track can you ride with a go pro mounted to your helmet , i see you have so im wondering if it’s allowed for normal track days aswell as races , and this is great footage to watch for learning the track
Thanks for subscribing and sorry for the late reply glad your enjoying my channel 👍 the camera I use isn’t a go pro its called cambox and it fits inside of your helmet, therefore not breaking any rules.

Can i ask, what is the helmet camera you use and how do you get it past Scrutineering?
@@jasonchurchill9780 it’s called a cambox. It’s a low profile 3d printed shell that sits inside the helmet, just behind the visor. No problems at scrutineering because it won’t affect the performance of my helmet. It was the main reason for getting one 😁

Sorry for the slow reply. 5th down the straight, back to 4th for coppice. 3 around charlies 1 and 2. Up to 5th along park straight and then back to 2nd for park. Short shift to 3rd and then grab 4th around chris curve. Back to 3rd for gooseneck. 2nd into mansfield. Then down to 1st for chicane. 2nd for mountain and hall bends. Back to 1st for hairpin. And then short shift upto second for barn.

Hi, the software I am using to edit the video is called race render.
The telemetry is an export from my lap timer which is loaded into race render.
How did you mount the camera and what was it cheers
Hi buddy! The camera is called a cambox, it mounts inside the helmet. The data has come from my lap timer and then I edit it together.

This was a cambox 3, i now use a 4 pro. If you check my latest vid’s you can see the difference in quality

@@TommyFielding I've been looking into riding other tracks than the Belgian, Dutch and French ones i've been so far. This one is definitely on my list! Almeria and Andalucia first.

@@TommyFielding assen was my first trackday ever, need to go back now i've gotten a little faster. Nowhere near your skill level and speed though. Assen is quite good to ride, it's a pretty high speed track mostly, not as technical as the smaller tracks but it's considered holy grounds for motorcycle riders so it's kind of mandatory for riders to go there at least once 😎

I just don't get this go kart track. It looks like home straight is the only overtake spot and you're rolling round in 2nd most of the time?

It's probably most riders favourite track in the England. It is narrow in places but that just makes it more exciting.

What are the rules on camera with racing? I want to get into racing and can’t seem to find any regulations on cameras
I haven't had any problems. It's quite a small device and goes inside of my helmet, so it's not like i'm flying around the track with a go pro glued to my head. I'm hoping it won't be a problem but all ok so far :D

it seemed like you were being slowed down by that rider you were following, and then when you got passed, the rider that passed you was slower.... all it did was set you back... its interesting to understand how strategy plays a big part of racing, its not just whoever has the bigger balls.... your fastest lap was when you had no one in front of you it looks like...
