    It's so refreshing to see some more approaches to army painting - it's always amazing seeing 'display' or 'character' level paint jobs but you'll tear your hair out when you start trying to replicate that across multiple figures. More army painting wisdom please!

      Thanks! The goal is provide a full range of tutorials. We generally cover display and more advanced army painting over on the Patreon.

    I need to stop watching your videos… Every time I do I start a new army… Used your night lords scheme, your Black templar’s, and now it looks like an Elder army! They just all look so good and are so simple with the airbrush and oil wash. These tutorials have single handily got me back into the hobby and enjoying painting again by not burning out trying to paint a playable army to a high standard. My favourite Warhammer painting TH-cam channel.

    This tutorial is awesome, ive been stuck for a while on how to do my new eldar and harlequin models, but kept coming to the same tacky look on my models, I love this dirty quick method as it looks great and gives a nice realism to the models, not to mention you could whizz through a bunch of guys, Please keep up the awesome tutorials will be definitely be subscribing.

    Looks great, I like this style, it's a little worn down, battle tested. I'm getting back to warhammer40k currently and want to paint my eldar Alaitoc scheme, but their flashy yellow doesn't suit my taste. Yellow on your helmet here is perfect though, it has this nice brassy finish and is a bit darker, exactly what I was looking for. Nice informative guide, definetely going to check out more.

    Fantastic scheme! The brown/red shade works so well and is a nice alternative for the usual cold, blueish black. I might steal that for my death company. Do you think a mix of BT contrast and Flesh Tearers contrast focused to recesses/shadows would achieve something similar?

    • @cultofpaint

    Is it possible to achieve this without an airbrush? I’m not feeling that confident with an airbrush and can I use GW Ardcoat and Stormshield as varnish instead of the other ones?

    • @cultofpaint
      @cultofpaint  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes to both. As I say In the video just use a drybrush and Normal hairy brush instead. And varnish is varnish, I’ve just got big bottles of the ones I listed.
