That green turned out so vibrant. I would love to see more Eldar, maybe swooping hawks? Thanks Mr. Matt. I think I'm a video or two behind after being out of town, so time to go catch up. Cheers.
Thanks Shane! Swooping Hawks would be a lot of fun to paint. I like those models
I'd love to see more Eldar painting tutorials! I would enjoy seeing how you'd do Biel-Tan, especially the thorn pattern.
I have a video for some Biel-Tan rangers, though they are mostly cloaks anyway and not much green. I'll have to paint a vehicle some time. Thanks for watching!
i swear you make these so easy and inspiring to jump to my own scorpions
Easy is the goal! Thanks for watching and good luck with your scorpions!
Eldar sculpts take really well to contrast style paints. All those bumps and organic shapes are work really well for that stuff.
Love that splash of yellow with the helmet. Brings in that two-tone thing that all the best craftworld schemes have.
they really do take well to the Contrast paints. I think glazing is really what ties everything together. Makes for a good combo!
I love your dwarf painting videos so naturally, some Votaan tutorials would be epic! :)
Those would be a lot of fun to paint! I'll have to track some down. Thanks for watching!
Instant like and subscribe. There's a shortage of contrast+layer cleanup walkthroughs and they're easily the best way to get armies painted!
Great to hear! Welcome to the channel and thank you!
This video made me want to grab the eldar killteam! Also, great looking gems! I can't wait to practice painting some gems soon using your guide!
Thanks for watching! Good luck painting the gems. Share your results on Discord/Instagram if you feel like it!
Amazing video loved seeing some eldar! More killteams!! Well all your vids are great but it’s nice to see some 40k!
Thanks! I have another Eldar killteam (corsairs) and I hope to get to that one soon.
@@MattsHobbyHour can’t wait to see it! Honestly like watching anything you paint!
Absolutely amazing video. It feels like I'm watching Bob Ross, especially when I get a "if you don't feel like mixing anything" superb.
Would love to see a big paint video like a gloomspite gitz loonshrine.
Thanks for your kind words and for the suggestion!
Nice work as always Matt. Thanks for another excellent tutorial. Perfect timing as I have this kill team to do.
Great! Feel free to share pictures of your kill team on Discord/Instagram!
@@MattsHobbyHourhey Matt, will do. any chance you could do say show a figure from the sisters, the order of the bloody rose?
@@MrObsidian23 if I manage to pick up some sisters, I will! I don't own any of that range at the moment.
Another great video and pleasantly relaxing :). More Eldar please Matt, especially some of the newer Aspect sculpts.
Thanks for watching! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
great stuff- really inspiring. I feel like I am watching a charlie brown special with the light jazz but it somehow works :)
Your Gem tutorial is very good.
Thank you!
Awesome video and so glad to see aeldari! Would love to see your take on the altansar aeldar scheme. Can’t find people to try it even if the scheme is quite nice! Especially on the heroes.
I just looked up that color scheme and I really like it. Very unique. Thanks for the suggestion!
@@MattsHobbyHour awesome! Can’t wait to see it if you try it!
Good stuff Matt! I need to practice painting gems myself. This will be helpful.
Thanks for watching! Glad it was helpful!
Amazing video as always, I’d love to see some Infinity Models by Corvus Belli done in your style!
Thanks for watching! I painted some Infinity a long time ago, they were fun models!
Please paint a skink oracle on troglodon🙏
thanks for the suggestion!
great video. have you ever thought about painting a yme-loc craftworld paint scheme?
Thanks for watching! I haven't considered that craftworld before. Looks cool! Definitely a lot less vibrant and punchy compared to the more common color schemes. I like it!
more eldar!
What paper do you use in your wet pallette? I struggle to maintain my paint comsistency
I use baking parchment from the grocery store. I believe it has some kind of nonstick coating on it. Less water comes through the paper, which is nice. If you're having a problem with your paint being over-diluted, you might want to try that. Otherwise theres no shame in using an old fashioned tile palette too! Hope this helps and good luck!
I enjoy both the porno movie music and the excellent painting tutorial!
What brush and size did you use for the highlights?
I use Rosemary and Co series 99 (or 33 if you can get them) sizes 2, 1 and 0. I used a size 1 for nearly all the highlight and detail work on this model. Hope this helps and thanks for watching!
All old world all the time, please lol
