EXCELLENT REVIEW MR. TV CHEF!!! By stroke of luck I walked into a Walmart shopping for other things and snagged the 50" version "open box" in A+ condition with ALL accessories stand, ROKU remote for $138 WITH TAX and the 2 year protection plan warranty !!! Same luck as year with the 43" version using it as a PC monitor and NOOOOO issues !!!
The game mode on this TV for the PS5 looks great! I play open world and adventure games. If you’re a fan of gaming you will like this TV. It’s HDR mode looks pretty decent. Games like RDR2, God of War, Ghost of Tsushima, and the last of us really look great on this TV. It’s not a OLED TV but I don’t need all of that. I just needed something that would look decent. I got this for $298. It’s pretty decent for the price. Not the best in the world or anything but if you’re a HARDCORE or professional gamer you may want something a little bit better. I do find myself adjusting the HDR settings in most games because some games are too bright or not bright enough by default. But if you don’t have a issue with taking about 5 minutes tweaking the settings for some games, like I said it’s decent. One thing I do like is that I have a couple of JBL speakers and when I’m watching a movie I connect this TV to the speakers and turn on party play on the JBL speakers. I get some great surround sound in my room doing that. You don’t even have to buy the Roku sound bar. Just download the app. Connect your phone to the tv and connect your phone to your Bluetooth speakers and boom you got surround sound with any Bluetooth speaker you want. I can even listen to movies with my AirPods on.
You nailed it with your comment! This is a decent TV for what it is... sure a hardcore gamer might be disappointed but its only ~$300 so its good enough for the price!
Got this in a 75" and I love it so far. I don't game on it, but we watch a lot of shows and movies and it is great for that. The speakers are pretty bad and I suggest grabbing a soundbar, as that has made the experience much better
