Awesome T.V. for under $500.00 bucks, you can't go wrong' I recently bought the same exact model and I am very impressed with the beautiful vibrant colors!
Really looking at the 65S401 for Presidents Day sale - 2019. The question I have is will this hookup to a direct TV HD receiver ready to watch out of the box? The TV I bought last Thanksgiving, the white people were red in the face and black people were green and ran out of adjustment for Color to blend for a normal picture. Everybody that's going to sell me a TV says it should which is no help.

Thanks for the update. Correct best prices are around the holidays but I'm a huge baseball fan so an upgrade is needed now before the new season starts.
Just got this TV from Walmart it super nice but I have a dark spot in the upper left hand corner that is driving my OCD nuts, I probably going to take this back. Anyone have or heard of this problem, any fix?
@@jacobfranklin820 is this happening with the code you have to put in when creating/logging into your roku account? That was the only issue I had taking to long making the account, the tv gave me another code and it worked after that.
I just got one on Black Friday. I already had a 49" TCL Roku TV that shows great. This one has clouding in the backlighting when viewing black (especially in a dark room). Since my other TCL doesn't have the problem I'm wondering if I just got a dud. Can anyone else check theirs to verify if they blacklighting is even or has a smooth gradient center to edge. I don't mind slight brightness at the edges getting darker to the center but this one looks like dim spot lights from the 4 corners.
Hey there, I got the same TV on Black Friday, it sure does have clouding , and what's more interesting is that if you look closely there is a blurry line across the bottom of the screen , Already contacted TLC but any screenshots or video taken with my phone wont show the darn line!.. , hope you bought the warranty .
@@alfredodaguer6295 I did. But within 30 days you can exchange it at the store. Walmart doesn't expect to get any more of these when I call the local store so I'm guessing they're out of production. Casually watching the TV I haven't really payed any attention to it lately. Maybe I haven't had the room darkened as much as I did when I was first checking out that TV. It was pretty distracting on dark scenes and transitions when I watch it in the dark that first day.
Yeah it seems like this is Roku’s profit scheme because you have to purchase there speakers for like 40$ before you can connect your own Bluetooth. Pretty stupid IMO
My 65 inch that I just got is horrible for sports. double images and pixelating. EDIT: OK. The problem might be in the cable going from the cable box, or even the cable service itself. I tried using Netflix and TH-cam, and the picture was great. So I'll have to mess with it.

Its possible they've changed their manufacturing process for this model slightly. I noticed another user said their TV has a "game mode" in the settings. That's news to me as mine doesn't have that feature.
I haven't had any issue's gaming on it. There's no ghosting or input lag to speak of. However, I only have a GTX 770 4gb in the PC currently connected to the TV. It's not pushing past 48 fps while running 4k resolution in the games I've tested.
Why does this tv show a price of $48.00 in this ad, but at checkout, it is $598.00 ? I want the abouve tv NOW and will pay with PayPal. So what price do I send ?
Nevermind, I missed the part of your video that you say "Coaxial Cable"... Just FYI, a TV Tuner is a piece of electronic that converts the signal from a coaxial cable into electromagnetic pulses for your digital tv to show on screen... In other words, if you have a coaxial input, you have a TV Tuner. The reason I asked is because the first roku tvs that came out didnt have a tv tuner in them. Thanks!
I was lucky enough to find one at Walmart after stopping at almost every store in Richmond. I found one at the Hull Street store. Is there an issue on it after 2yrs. Because I bought a 65 vizio and all the led lights went out I'm soo pissed.
Can you download any entrainment app on the tv like nbc or abc
Do u still have the tv ? How’s it now ?
It's still a good TV. We did however learn if you use the wrong size USB drive for the "pause" feature. It will interfere with the TV signal.
How do you mount it just bought it and there is only two holes at the bottom on the back
So if you still have Cable TV like Comcast, you system remote from them could still control it, right?
Obviously lol
how does it look mounted? does the tv stick out a lot? does it look off with the mounts at the bottom of the tv instead of it being in the middle?
It actually is tight against the wall. So tight, plugging in hdmi is a royal pain in the ass.

You can use your phone as a virtual remote
What is better to use for 300w sound bar , optical or HDMI arc ?
Unless your going surround, one isn't better then the other in my opinion.
