31:49 I never even knew the hanged man had an actual face that was blindfolded. I just thought his neck was twisted backwards because of his mask. That makes it even more creepy.
I think the twisted neck is more creepier
@@ryanp7546 Sure but I always believed it had its neck twisted which is why it had its mask backwards. I never realized that there was an actual blindfolded face because the original doesn't show its face very well.
The Hanged Man being able to buff how many turns it has is a nice addition.
This is Mot all over again
the childs yearn for nocturne's Mot
Digital devil saga fans be like:👁️👄👁️
Part... I lost count, but boo! Me again!
The Hanged Man is an arcana that represents sacrifice, difficult decisions, and deep contemplation. In some other interpretations, it is also an arcana that represents rebirth, and being able to recover from a bad situation. Reversed, it represents avoiding one's problems, apathy, and stagnation.
The Shadow Hanged Man avoids all of this by first flying constantly over anything that could trouble it - it quite literally just won't engage with its problems, leaving scapegoats (the statues) to deal with things for it. It's selfish, and (in the OG P3 games) uses allies as bombs, and has difficulty keeping its composure when it's in a tight spot, resorting to forcing out multiple actions through Grim Transcendence instead of just planning things out carefully.
Now, to round things off, is there enough information on the Magician Shadow that Thanatos cuts to pieces for you to do a deep dive on?
@@jacobkern2060 it’s actually really simple tbh. Which, honestly, fits!
The Magician is an arcana that represents potential, power used for good, drive and ambition, passion, willpower, and focus. It’s associated with the infinity symbol (Strength is associated with it as well), symbolizing the magician’s endless potential growth. Reversed Magician is misuse of power, instability, deception, wasted talents, and manipulation.
The Shadow Magician is a suuuuper understated design even among its fellow Full Moon shadows - it’s just a bunch of hands. That’s it. It has no real head besides its mask, so it doesn’t have a clean identity, let alone a focused mind to direct what it should do, and while it being made out of hands means it can do a lot of things (hands are useful like that) it being nothing BUT hands means it just… doesn’t get to. It has all the means to manipulate things but none of the thought or foresight or… anything, that it needs to actually do anything.
Thus, it stomps around with no real goal except violence, and ultimately is not able to get anywhere because it gets killed before it’s able to actually express its “potential”, if it even had any despite being a thoughtless, scattered wreck of a wild animal.
Kinda makes sense, what with the spamming of God's Hand
Also, it's not even a hanged man! It's crucified!
They took out the “can we go home now?” victory cheer. I’m sad about that
They should have replaced Master of Shadow with Forced Battle here just to complete the Mot throwback
The Hanged man is the only one from the Persona universe to be able to fight Mot.
Bro thinks he's mot 🤢
That extra turn BS and on top of that AKASHA ARTS?!!
I got stuck after his "beast eye" mot move. I MIIGHT have been underleveled
did you pass it? ive been like 2 weeks with this boss and i still cant beat it because im underleveled, i dont know what to do
@@wilsonekewhat level are you?
@@CookieTwoStep i was like level 50 but ive already finish the game
The fail in the minute 15:11 was Takaya doesn't use an evoker to summon his persona so i don't know if he was going to suicide or try to keep fighting so in the first case it means the Jin's move of jumping from the bridge was a quick tough survival plan so Takaya didn't die for a rematch that makes Jin not as crazy as i thought in first hand
He was using an acctual revolver instead of an evoker like the one he uses in his theurgy
Why is Fuuka's persona pregnant with Fuuka
Her Persona acts as the teams Navigation, and thus takes a form that shields the user from taking damage. It acts as a barrier between her and the enemy, as she's not a combat focused character.
@@wobblewokgaming655 I know, was making a joke
@@wobblewokgaming655And since the Persona is a reflection of the true self, you could make arguments about her feeling isolated, in a shell of her own.
i remember this fight was annoying as hell for me in p3p because the boss would spawn the statues the turn after i knocked it down 💀
Btw, how are you liking the game? Is your experience now better than back then?
Much more enjoyable!!
@@FazPersona I'm glad to hear it. It's the same for me. My Portable experience always irritated me for some reason.
bro only had up to King and I for Theurgies?
He’s so rushed in the game almost all of his personas are under leveled
Oh great beast eye. Imagine press turns system in persona
More like Dragon Eye because 3 turns
What are those statues?
After all these years.. they still suck 😂
