Imo the funniest bit to me is dating Chihiro. You meet this girl who is traumatized from her father, help her overcome this, become friends with her, become closer, and end up together. Youve helped her so much, and became her first relationship, then you DIE.

I love how Mitsuru loses her composure and gets all giddy.
For those of you who didn't play the original P3. You didn't have the option to just stay friends. You were forced to date all of them in order to finish their social links. This meant you could only hang out with one girl at a time until you finished their social links, because if you got to far with two girls at the same time you run the risk of them finding out about each other and breaking/reversing the social link and basically fucking your run because you have to spend at least a solid two weeks trying to fix things between BOTH girls. The fact that they finally fixed this with this game is a GOD SEND!
Adding to this, the only "best girls" for not overblowing the whole "OmG, YoU WeRe wItH aNoThER ChIcK!? wE'Re DoNe" were Aigis and Elizabeth.
Elizabeth isn't a social link, so you can hang around with her, having fun and whatnot... until you take her to your room and spend some time with her.
And Aigis, who was always loyal to you, no matter what. Other girls would always jump into conclusions and just reverse their arcanas... but not Aigis. Nope, she was loyal to the very end. Thus, these two were the real best girls of Persona 3
Hey, I’ve never ran into that problem playing the original game because I usually do them one girl a timer
@aresrivera9744 that's what I'm saying. You HAVE to do them one at a time. In the later games you didn't need to worry about it because you could choose not to date them. So then if you did date multiple girls and they found out that's on you. But here it was just the fact that you couldn't do it without running the risk of ruining everything. And if it was your first time playing and didn't know, this is a major kick in the balls that wasn't even your fault.
@@ianhunter363 I never had that problem. Usually the girls are available on the same day so usually I do them one add a time.
For example, I’m maxed out chihiro and yuko was only rank four because I discovered her late and I just wanted to focus on chihiro.
Yukari and Fuuka both require max stats so having them around the same level and getting jealous is really your own fault.
Rejected them doesn’t fix This because in the original, you only started dating them around rank 9 anyway. So I don’t see your point giving the option doesn’t fix anything in fact, it makes the whole scene with aigis at the end really weird if you reject her and pick mitsuru.
Which is why I appreciate it and portable and let you choose your girlfriend to be with you
@aresrivera9744 you're not listening. If their social links get to high and you start dating them at the same time, because again, you didn't have a choice. If you tried to keep everyone around the same rank it's going to cause problems.

But for real though, Yukari literally cried tears of happiness because our MC reciprocated her feelings.
Y'know what I love about Yukari's social link is that right off the bat, even at Rank 2, it's clear that she's already developed feelings for you as it carries over from her arc in Yakushima.
So her being into you is just woven into the narrative regardless if you decide to date her or not. Her social link is just way to open up the curtains she always tries to hide behind as result of not being honest with herself. Man.. Yukari is just great.

The voice acting for these scenes really do the romance justice one of the best decisions ever done for this game and hopefully the future of Atlus JRPGs is more voiced dialogues instead of just basic text because they really hire some good voice actors both English and Japanese
If I have to pay 10 more bucks for better links cause of the VA I'll take it(although the real reason for it being 70 bucks is Sega). It enhances the links.

@@1wayroad935 that is how it was supposed to be in the original game. Aigis was the only girl without SL, therefore without romance. It was meant to be "sibling bond" not lovers. But in FES they changed that and added romance.

... well, at least from FES and the Arena games, you can argue she and the rest managed just fine. After all, The Answer is basically S.E.E.S. way to deal with Makoto and the Arena games show how well all the members are doing in life.
@@abrahammesrajecorrea2349 some of them haven't really move on from Makoto death, Akihiko still blame himself from being to weak to protect everyone close to him, Mitsuru mentioning Makoto when she fight Narukami, Ken (at least at the start of the game) haven't really move on from Shinji and Makoto death, and basically the whole Elizabeth Story was finding a way to save Makoto

seriously i thinnk the hardest friendzone for me of p3 was mitsuru, the fact that she says that loves you, and you friendzone her immediately it hurted, but it worth it all friendzones gut punchs, to finally stay with best girl aigis...

It was really hard for me to reject Yukari, but I knew all along that I will go for Mitsiru. And that's why it was 10 times harder to reject Aigis - who knew that she was also a romancible character?? I thought she would just be attached to us like in OG - there she wasn't even jealous like the others after rank 6 . And it was so hard for me to refuse her... But I still refused her and did not betray Mitsuru!!
I believe in P3P and P3FES Aigis was romance-able.
Well, dunno about portable version, but in FES MC automatically romances every girl if he reaches 6-8 rank with her. And all the girls besides Aigis have jealous system - like if you arrange 4 dates with any other girls, they reverse the link. So, Aigis doesn't have this system, that's why I said she is just attached to our hero. Actually, I can't quite remember what she says to us in her 8-10 ranks, so I can be wrong, but I think that was not love, but attachment and maybe guilty feeling (for spoiler things))

@@PersonaEnjoyer Yeah, Aigis does not get mad in FES if you are with another girl but, that is just who she is as a character. She will love Makoto no matter what he does or if he decides to be with another. She will still keep loving him and will try to stay by his side forever. That is why, for me, if you romance her, the end is even more devastating.

The girls confessing to you is a P3 only thing. (Because romance is mandatory)
You have to take the initiative and have the right stats to confess starting in P4 so I'm not getting what you're saying because it's already in the Persona games now.
They kinda already did that tho, in P5 a lot of the girls don't confess to you aside from Sumire I think and Haru just heavily hints about her feelings
P3 is the only game where i wish we could get a what-if scenario, and no, the bad ending doesn't count.

Who is mii-chan-san? And why is there both “chan” and “san” used? I don’t quite get it since I never played persona 3.
Mii-Chan is nickname of an old cat (an old lady called it Mii-chan) ,Aigis calls everyone’s name with “San”(さん in jp) ,she thinks Mii-Chan is the cat’s full name so she calls it Mii-Chan san ,just a small dorkiness to show her robotic side

This is my first time playing as Makoto so could honestly use some advice. Is it better to romance Yuko or Yukari? I didn’t think I was going to meet Yukari’s stat requirements so I was waiting for NG+…then I did. I really like them both, but figure I get more content with Yukari. I don’t know looking for anyone else to help make a decision haven’t found a lot of info out there.
The game pushes Yukari really hard. She is a loveable character anyway, and i do think Reload improved her.
Yeah that’s what’s making me consider switching. Plus all the new Dorm hangout events thst you don’t get to do with non-SEES members. Honestly just watched the Friendzone endings and wanted to see which one would end up hurting worse. (Still feel bad for leading Yuko on tho, at least she has my bestie Kaz lmao)
@@BrBetimApparently the script in Reload is fine tuned to be more like the original Japanese then what the old scripts of P3 had, then they added stuff like the Theurgy scene that takes inspiration from the drama CD's, pretty cool stuff.

When playing the original, I went with Chihiro. Killed me not to pursue that romance this time. (Fortunately?) you can end the romance very early, yet still maintain the connection - so the final scene plays out different. Rather liked that they took that approach.

So like is the harem route a thing, does anything happen like persona 5. I never played 3 before so this is my very first playthrough and I usually only do 1 relationship for first playthrough, and then the other playthroughs I try and get everyone.
In the og 3 you had to date all of the girls when you reach a certain point in the social link, only getting changed in persona 4, meaning after all of the 3 releases, or at least they didn't add it till reload. I don't know if anything happens in this version with all the gals, but still. Regardless, as you can see, you can reject the girls, so solo relationship is possible in this game.
