For those of you who didn't play the original P3. You didn't have the option to just stay friends. You were forced to date all of them in order to finish their social links. This meant you could only hang out with one girl at a time until you finished their social links, because if you got to far with two girls at the same time you run the risk of them finding out about each other and breaking/reversing the social link and basically fucking your run because you have to spend at least a solid two weeks trying to fix things between BOTH girls. The fact that they finally fixed this with this game is a GOD SEND!
Adding to this, the only "best girls" for not overblowing the whole "OmG, YoU WeRe wItH aNoThER ChIcK!? wE'Re DoNe" were Aigis and Elizabeth. Elizabeth isn't a social link, so you can hang around with her, having fun and whatnot... until you take her to your room and spend some time with her. And Aigis, who was always loyal to you, no matter what. Other girls would always jump into conclusions and just reverse their arcanas... but not Aigis. Nope, she was loyal to the very end. Thus, these two were the real best girls of Persona 3

For example, I’m maxed out chihiro and yuko was only rank four because I discovered her late and I just wanted to focus on chihiro. Yukari and Fuuka both require max stats so having them around the same level and getting jealous is really your own fault. Rejected them doesn’t fix This because in the original, you only started dating them around rank 9 anyway. So I don’t see your point giving the option doesn’t fix anything in fact, it makes the whole scene with aigis at the end really weird if you reject her and pick mitsuru. Which is why I appreciate it and portable and let you choose your girlfriend to be with you

The voice acting for these scenes really do the romance justice one of the best decisions ever done for this game and hopefully the future of Atlus JRPGs is more voiced dialogues instead of just basic text because they really hire some good voice actors both English and Japanese
If I have to pay 10 more bucks for better links cause of the VA I'll take it(although the real reason for it being 70 bucks is Sega). It enhances the links.

Y'know what I love about Yukari's social link is that right off the bat, even at Rank 2, it's clear that she's already developed feelings for you as it carries over from her arc in Yakushima. So her being into you is just woven into the narrative regardless if you decide to date her or not. Her social link is just way to open up the curtains she always tries to hide behind as result of not being honest with herself. Man.. Yukari is just great.

I know it’s part of the game, but when I have to turn down certain girls just to be in a relationship with only one girl, it really hurts me more than them, especially when they open their hearts to them. It’s very sad and hard to do

It was really hard for me to reject Yukari, but I knew all along that I will go for Mitsiru. And that's why it was 10 times harder to reject Aigis - who knew that she was also a romancible character?? I thought she would just be attached to us like in OG - there she wasn't even jealous like the others after rank 6 . And it was so hard for me to refuse her... But I still refused her and did not betray Mitsuru!!
Well, dunno about portable version, but in FES MC automatically romances every girl if he reaches 6-8 rank with her. And all the girls besides Aigis have jealous system - like if you arrange 4 dates with any other girls, they reverse the link. So, Aigis doesn't have this system, that's why I said she is just attached to our hero. Actually, I can't quite remember what she says to us in her 8-10 ranks, so I can be wrong, but I think that was not love, but attachment and maybe guilty feeling (for spoiler things))

I clicked on this video to see why Yukari was crying, and *man,* that hits. Her going "You're not... Pulling my leg, are you?" Hits kind of close to home for me because that's how I would react if I was in her situation, and honestly? As sad as I am over the fact that my best girl Aigis didn't get a hug this time around, Yukari absolutely *deserved* that hug she got. Shuyuka will always have a very special place in my heart, as much as I love Aikoto as well.

The girls confessing to you is a P3 only thing. (Because romance is mandatory) You have to take the initiative and have the right stats to confess starting in P4 so I'm not getting what you're saying because it's already in the Persona games now.

It was really hard for me to reject Yukari, but I knew all along that I will go for Mitsiru. And that's why it was 10 times harder to reject Aigis - who knew that she was also a romancible character?? I thought she would just be attached to us like in OG - there she wasn't even jealous like the others after rank 6 . And it was so hard for me to refuse her... But I still refused her and did not betray Mitsuru!!

Well, dunno about portable version, but in FES MC automatically romances every girl if he reaches 6-8 rank with her. And all the girls besides Aigis have jealous system - like if you arrange 4 dates with any other girls, they reverse the link. So, Aigis doesn't have this system, that's why I said she is just attached to our hero. Actually, I can't quite remember what she says to us in her 8-10 ranks, so I can be wrong, but I think that was not love, but attachment and maybe guilty feeling (for spoiler things))

She will love Makoto no matter what he does or if he decides to be with another. She will still keep loving him and will try to stay by his side forever. That is why, for me, if you romance her, the end is even more devastating.

I clicked on this video to see why Yukari was crying, and *man,* that hits. Her going "You're not... Pulling my leg, are you?" Hits kind of close to home for me because that's how I would react if I was in her situation, and honestly? As sad as I am over the fact that my best girl Aigis didn't get a hug this time around, Yukari absolutely *deserved* that hug she got. Shuyuka will always have a very special place in my heart, as much as I love Aikoto as well.

The girls confessing to you is a P3 only thing. (Because romance is mandatory)
You have to take the initiative and have the right stats to confess starting in P4 so I'm not getting what you're saying because it's already in the Persona games now.
They kinda already did that tho, in P5 a lot of the girls don't confess to you aside from Sumire I think and Haru just heavily hints about her feelings

I feel like Aigis and Mitsuru truly have the best confessions in the game. Aigis’ is so beautiful. Her realizing how she wants to live through her bond with you is truly something special.
And with Mitsuru, I love how passionate she is! She has a cold exterior so it’s so nice to see her true feelings come out, especially with that fight she had with her fiance over makoto
