- This is the group called "The Herman's Hermits" featuring original band member Barry Whitwam on drums and Geoff Foot on vocals and bass, who is in touch and working with Herman's Hermits since 1972. Herman's Hermits recorded a song of Foot that time called "She's a lady" which was another top ten hit. Of course there still is another live act: Peter Noone and The Herman's Hermits. Peter Noone had been the original singer of the Herman's Hermits and left the group in late 1970. Noone and his Hermits are based in the US, while this group here is still based in the UK.
Even though the mebers are not all originals, they all are wonderfull and experienced musicians, who formed a very well entertaining live act. They still have great fun on stage and a great sence of humour.

Despite the passed by years, these guys haven’t lost the original intonation, they still sing this song like the original. Congratulations!!! They still can produce a beautiful interpretation of this song. Herman’s hermits haven’t aged !!!.

WOW! The original drummer! Whenever I hear a "Herman's Hermits" song I immediately think "this is some great drumming... I gotta get the CD." When this guy says "our friend Graham Gouldman came up with this song..." I doubt he ever even met the guy.

This is the original drummer Barry Whitwam’s version of Herman’s Hermits! He tours Europe, New Zealand, and Australia. Barry never left the band and the original members eventually all moved on. Peter Noone has his own version of Herman’s Hermits and his band tours the USA and Canada. Barry’s band sounds very good! Geoff Foote is a good singer!

In England/Germany, etc. the Herman's Hermits name is legally used by the original drummer (in this video). In the USA Peter/Herman tours as Herman's Hermits featuring Peter Noone. Both are original members of the group and as others have stated, groups personnel change through the years. Probably isn't any groups that started in the 60s/70s that still have all orig members.
Hi Allan, it’s a strange situation with both bands having just one original member. Peter Noone has the voice of Herman’s Hermits But I feel he is well know enough as an artist without the need to use the Hermits name but I would imagine promoters don’t think so.
People don’t seem to mind that other bands carry on with session musicians for live performances but with the UK Hermans Hermits it seems frowned upon.

No Peter Noone? Certainly not THE Herman's Hermits. You guys sound good but you should use a band name that notes you are a tribute band to Peter and the real Hermits.
They are parts of the original band and some of other members. Peter noone left Herman’s hermits in 1970
I don't think there's any more original Herman Hermits....Peter is doing solo probably the rest of the guys regroup with different blokes... anyway they're still Hermits
