I was going to buy the pre cut talon grips but ended up getting a blank sheet and cut it myself. Turned out amazing! Highly recommend to spend the extra time and do it yourself. I was so impressed I made a video for it hahaha
The slip on houge grips are great I still have mine on my Glock 26 everyday carry for work and off work since 2012. It’s a process to get them but they are great for control of the firearm
@youngsquidling2545 yes that's a good one, I think I have most of the fn 509 line. I gotta grab the compact tactical and the non threaded full size 509, the mid size is only ¼" longer than the compact
@DaWhiteMan01 you can use the regular 24 rnd mags and put the sleeve for the old fns9 over it with a little grinding from a dremel on the sleeve and it fits the 509c perfectly. The sleeve is removable. Turns the 509c into a full grip length
I have tried all kinds of different wedges, by far the best is the mastermind pillow wedge. You can put as much or as little fill as you want and adjust it all you want as it is held on by velcro...
I really like the gen5 Glock grip texture. That’s why I have a 19x,g45,19.5 and 26.5MOS. Used to quickly add talon grips and even goon tape. Now I keep’’em stock. 👌🏾
I’m a Glock fanboy but without talon grip sandpaper grips, any water or moisture and the firearm goes flying out of my hand, if it were blood, even worse, so I’ll put up with a bit of discomfort from the grips, but honestly I carry appendix and I don’t feel them at all most of the time but I know I’ll get a good purchase on the gun if I need to and it will stay in my hand when needed. Dig your content, not bad for a plumber lol, don’t bite your fingernails and payday is on Friday ! Ps: please change out the blue ones they are obnoxious, thank you
Just in my opinion, I’m not going to purchase a firearm I have to add grips to! There are a few firearms I’ve refused to buy because of the grip, I will not purchase grips!
That is fine, but be aware that people, myself included will get into shooting and learn that different levels of grip texture in different areas of the guns grip can greatly improve their shooting abiltiy and speed. So it is something that many people want to customize for optimum performance. Is it necessary for a standard nightstand gun or even daily carry? No. But is it preferrable and maybe even necessary for those that want to take their skill to the next level? Yes.
Hence my comment that spn constantly calls hate. Why not work that extra hour at da job and buy the pistol that has it all instead of adding $300 in parts of upgrade it. Like on glocks, the sights, extended slide / stop release 😂😂😂
Love adding grips to my pistols aswell but I prefer the talon grips. I’ve had better experience with them in my opinion they last longer on the fire arm and they feel better in hand to me. But at the same time that’s only to me.
Should you get a wedge even if your barrel is longer than 3.7 inches? I know the wedge primarily is to prevent the gun from keeling forward over your beltline but would it also improve the comfort on a longer barrel gun?
I'd love a material that sticks to your hand, but not clothing. I'm sure some exist, but I'm not sure of any personally. I just tried a grip once and it stuck to my clothing so bad I had to remove it.
I noticed you run alot finger extentions on your mags with the glock 26. when I installed the peirce mag extension if I have a really tight grip I get failure to feed and eject issues. Doing more research it seems some people have no issues and some people do. Maybe just a thing with the gen3 glock. Removed the peirce ext and have shot about 500rnds no issues with stock glock mags. Just sucks because I have big hands and I can barely get two fingers on the 26. Might just carry my 19 so I have more real-estate for my hand. Just curious on your opinion.

Just wanted to say I fux with you my guy. You are one of my go to channels for fire arms. Stay blessed!!

@@chuloz I have them on my Shield Plus and Shield 40, works great..

The M&P 2.0 comes factory with amazing grip texturing. Why can't Glock get it right?
Just purchased a xd mod 3 and this is gold. You’re the man!
What permanently ruins a handgun is bad stippling. Removable grip tape is a good non permanent upgrade.
My EDC is an FN 509 tactical. I use a tier1 concealment holster with a claw and a wedge. It works great. I prefer a full size gun over the micro 9s.
Show me the way lol

@@DaWhiteMan01i love the 509c tactical with the apex trigger. And the fn510.
@solarlion144 shit only missing a few in the 509 series. Just wish the 24 round mags that came with the 509 compact fit the 509 midsize

A good holster does wonders for concealment.

That blue looks like painters tape 😅
You're close but I'm pretty sure it's plumbers tape😂😂😂
@chipdaddy9716 well it's on a glock know one will know😁😁😁
Team G26 checking in!
If you carry appendix, i don't think it matters at all..
I carry a full size vp9 pretty easily.
Two G27’s. My man 😁

I agree. The grip texture should not be an afterthought!

don't let them bully you i like the blue and black SPN
Adding the Boot Tamer Grip to my LCR made a huge difference. So I would say yes they do.
Thanks. What does a wedge do?
Have you checked combat textile grips?
Those blue grips are sweet idk why people hate
Channels growing on me. Genuine question. What is “spn” short for?

Have you tried the Blacksmith Tactical micro rig?
Glock boys still living in 2015
Never had grips!!
I don’t think you have a SIG to my knowledge. If true, why? If false, what do you have?
I'm thinking of getting some grips for my Hellcat OSP. Which exact model grips for the Hellcat specifically would you recommend?
ANYONE KNOW WHATS SIZE HOGUE GRIPS WILL FIT BEST ON MY SIG SP2022?!?! Someone bless me with knowledge 😂
