I don't think the module supports USB audio recording, so I think you can only record the main output (L R). However, I would use a USB cable with my computer and DAW with drum software like Addictive Drums 2, Superior Drummer 3, GetGood Drums, etc.
You can edit each kit and change the sounds. Saving the kit is a little tougher to figure out how to do (I can't remember how-to off hand, but it's possible).
Hello, I have the hwx drum set too. I connected it to my pc via the midi port, but there doesn't seem to have sound output. Do I need to install VST to be able to record?
I don't believe you can download kits to the HXW module. Sorry if you saw another reply, I thought I was replying to a separate video. In order to use your own kits, you'll need to use the HXW as a MIDI controller with a laptop and drum VST software.
The module sounds are surpisingly good, great review
Amazing review very pro ! is it possible to compose your own drum kits with the sounds in the module ? thanks
how to connect and record different tracks in pc daw? is it possible?

Not bad. I just have a bit of problem with the tom sound but no biggie.
Can you change the individual sounds on the kit to different ones? Like edit the kit or are you stuck on the presets?

Ok thanks.
Where can I find the drivers for the HXW kits for my pc to recognize them?
It's just midi information, no drivers needed, you need a DAW with a drum plugin, look up VST triggering with electric drums
I'm hearing well?? Or the sounds i feel like Roland modules?
please can you make a video on how to connect the module please
How do u hook this up to Cakewalk? Do u need a driver for the module or is it plug n play?

Yes, u need a program whenever u are inputing midi information to actually hear anything
Can you download kits? Is that possible??

im scared if one day i cant get snare/tom pad replacement if one pad broke..
This is a very valid concern-one I definitely didn't think of mentioning!
You can use a different brand I think, for example donner, or roland.
