I nearly got this kit but got resort 1200w... Love it bang for buck. I do wish I had this module w 4th tom for 6pc kit. I got dual zone & wonder if using fed1100 module would be dual toms\cymbols. I made nice hybrid 1200w & clear acrylic 9pc for Medusa beast drum weapon..
Great review. A question here: i understand the issue with the felt beaters. Would having a protective "patch" that sticks onto the mesh head help in protecting the mesh head? Maybe a moleskin pad? Using the felt beater. Would a wood or metal beater be acceptable for mesh heads? Thank you 👍👍✌️✌️
@NickCesarzDrums I purchased one made by Evans. I've only had my e-drums for 6 months So, I don't have enough play time to tell how it works out. Years and years ago, I learned of using a moleskin pad to protect the bass drum head. ( on acoustic drums.) Though, it's not as pretty as the stick on dot protector.
Waiting for mine, I’m planning on hook it up to a DAW, but what I saw is that the dynamics are not so great. Were you able to go into the module setting to adjust, sensitivity, threshold, and any other configuration to see if it could improve?. I will have to dive deep to see if the module has those options to improve its performance trigger wise. Thanks for the review, the first one of this module, very complete. Cheers from Mexico.
Hi Nick Just wondering have you tried it with software at all yet? It will fix the problem with dynamic control of the drums but I hope that you get back to me and tell me is it worth buying
Fesley makes some nice quality ekits bang for buck! I also got great customer service engineering support for minor issue. I was impressed an up& coming music stands by there stuff. Shockingly surprized. Guitars/amps are a deal too. Alot folks on budget can afford refund w these Pro features!..
Two questions. I’m not seeing an amp anywhere in the video, do you need one if you’re not using the headphones? Would you say it’s worth getting if I’m able to get a “scratch & dent” unit for under $100 while saving for a system with a better module?
Question about the kit, i bought the kit and am having the same issues for most part. Dynamics on the drums are almost non existant, cymbal edges have issues triggering, and most of all i use a double bass pedal only maybe half of the hits register at higher tempos. What can i do to fix this? Would it fix most of the problems to just get a different module?
Yes, that kit is worth $700.00. I also would not recommend it as there are better e-kits for around the same money. Also as a drummer I can only really recommend high-end e-kits as they feel, sound, and play 99.9% just like an accustic kit. The lower-end kits are more like toys of a drum kit. Lower-end e-kits are improving but for someone serious about learning drums properly you must get a higher-end e-kit or an accustic kit.
what are the better ones for around 700 bucks im okay with them not being the best highest quality kit ever but i also really want one with a kick tower and a hi hat too thank you man
Thank you so much 🙌🙌

Awesome, thank you!

Hmm, I've never tried that, but I feel like it would work! Provided the patch adheres to the mesh

"Garage" kit is every 311 song, EVER.

Q tal.sinlo compraste pudiste mover la sensibilidad ? Recomiendas el.quit con una Daw para grabar?
Nice video! at the end you said "to swap the drumbrain out". Are other modules compatible?

You will need an amp without headphones. I have a hard time recommending this kit. The performance was not great
2 questions bro
Will the kick pad have a good response with the double pedal?
AND
Will the module have the capacity to place more cymbal pads?
I wouldn't suggest it, kick triggering seemed pretty poor. I don't think you can add additional pads either
Nice video! Are you thinking about buying the FED1200W?
Thanks! No plan to, but if they decide to send one out for me to review I'll check it out.
The machine gun effect snare sound separates the good kits from the obnoxious ones.

Different module might be the solution. I tried playing with the settings to no avail.

So, all roads lead to Roland?
Titan 70 smokes this kit.
@@Rockstar-vs4xv thinking of exchanging my titan 50 for it
Really like the set but the sound of it is too electric. Specially when you hit the snare really fast. I will keep my td-9 for now 😁
19:55 Puedes probar ritmos de 160 bpm o más en el doble pedal? E leído que los triggers no son buenos a velocidades más altas
Osea que para ponerle un doble pedal no funcionaria bien?
