Hey Sarah! Thank you so much for the great content! I have been practising watercolors for half a year, and thanks to you I now tried gouache for the first time. I am loving it, thank you for introducing me to the medium! All the best!
ohhh just opened my Sunday with this video :) love how calm and satisfying it is - looking at you paint and build up the colors :) you mentioned that you usually make another 2-3 painting-sketches before, do you mind me asking why? just curious, because this one looks good already :) have a great day Sarah :)
Thank you so much 😀 I do a few practice rounds because 1. I can always improve, 2. it's hard to replicate a certain technique unless you've done it multiple times...so rather than hope I get "lucky" and do a thing, I want the muscle memory and confidence to be there
@@SarahBurnsStudio thank you very much Sarah :) this is a great mindset to have in art :) I can relate to that a lot, especially 2 - so the confidence is very important and to have a few surprises as possible more so when painting a commission :)
Nah, since 99.9% of it was watercolor, I call it watercolor. I didn't *need* to add the gouache, I just wanted to experiment with that texture on the buds only. In the final commission there will be nothing but watercolor.
Such a peaceful video I love your work! ☺️❤️
Glad you enjoy it!

Thank you! Cheers!

Awesome end, way to land the dismount! Do you need to say "multi-media" if ots water color and gouache?
