The spray pump method is time consuming and hard work for a girl that’s 5’3, BUT I just saved hundreds of dollars! Thank you so much Dan!!!

    Halfway through the video and I’m testing this today actually on a clients house I mow for. Gutter cleaning and cleaning vinyl around the downspouts. Can’t wait. I plan to watch the rest of your videos as I’ve seen one comments below about different nozzles and solutions. Definitely gonna put these to use! Thanks so much for the insight, using this to expand lawn care to full house maintenance!

    The solution has worked very well, and with just normal hose pressure to rinse the solution off, its done a great job on its own, but combined with a jet/pressure washer then it be so clean and so bright to, so in my opinion this is a great video and not boring at all as you have educated with this video, keep up the good work mate

    Thank you for your reply, you was talking about the bleach and I have noticed that it doesn't smell as strong as it did, I got a case of bleach and it hardly had a smell to, I thought it was just my nose not being able to smell the bleach but now I know why, when I got it from the store it was old already, I just started watching your videos about a week ago and I have learned a lot from watching them thanks,

    Great video Dan. I love that smell too, smells like...money. I use this method on the really heavy green walls. For the rest of the house I use your mix for the siphon of my machine. I also use the pink and blue nozzles you showed us in one of your vids. They are awesome!
    My business boomed last year and I expect it to explode this year. Thank you for all the tips in your videos.
    I pre soak everything (grass, shrubbery and trees) with water. I also pre treat any surfaces to be cleaned with the solution and it makes my surface cleaning quicker and cleaner.

However, after rinsing this down and allowing the sun to dry the decking - they have completely disappeared! Thank you so much. My husband was very skeptical but we have proved him wrong! :)

    Thanks Dan for taking the time to make these videos! I've been watching you since you first started. I just tried this mixture on my house today with just a water hose and 2gal sprayer. The results were AMAZING! I know with my pressure washer it will be even better. Home Depot has a bleach sprayer that is all plastic. I also bought some HDX bleach (S.H. 8.25%) and mixed with Dawn roughly 6:1. Crap and grime came off like a hot knife through butter. LOL. Now to just get get one of those after pump inlets you linked.

    Dan, your Vlogs are great. The internet is full of haters - just take their comments with a grain of salt, and keep on doing your thing. I've only been checking your stuff out for a few weeks, but it's interesting to watch how you react to the comments. This one I felt like you seemed like you had to be really careful to prove to negative commentators your actions... In other video's I liked how you asked your viewers to keep comments constructive and positive for some of your content. Your commentary is heartfelt and honest. That camera works really well for the wide shots you're doing. You're really, really great at explaining the how and why you're doing on your projects. Really great stuff. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us. I'm going to try this mixture on the RV and see what happens. I wish you all the best.

    What Dan is saying is spot on. Because of his videos on soft washing, I was able to start doing it. I started small “Troy Bilt “ washer. Customer had a 4 gallon Honda I was doing, said hey wanna do a trade, he said sure. That’s how I got a 4 gallon per min washer. Win for me. My area normal size home, 300-400 a pop.

      Dan ..did about half of my 2800 sq ft house today. It has never come this clean before and
      I never used the pressure washer. I purchased the Field King Max which sprays at up to 150 psi. The fan nozzle allows for good cover on the underside if the step in the clapboard. Very little physical effort. I am so impressed. I have done my house with a power washer numerous times but my house has NEVER looked this clean. Thank you so much for your advice. One reason I like the Field Master is all the parts are replaceable and easy to order.

    Great of you to prove it. I do pressurewashing professionally and I wet the wall, spray a bleach solution, usually with no soap but the soap won't hurt anything, then rinse pretty much right away. The pressurewasher just makes the rinse faster, it isn't what cleans off the guck. It does help with spiderwebs n such better. I do a roof on my channel, and soap and bleach is all I use there as well. Plastic fences, too. wet, bleach, rinse. Cleans SO much. Wetting before just helps the bleach solution spread out more evenly so no spots. This same thing cleans soffits, gutters, even roofs & concrete if you mix it stronger. Spray some on that old fence and see it turn new again, too.

Didn't know about that pin either. Systems vs. No Systems.

    In 350 comments, maybe someone already mentioned this, but just in case, Dawn dish detergent with ammonia is the one to avoid. As in Dan's demonstration video above, his Dawn dishwashing detergent apparently has no ammonia in it and I've never had a problem with regular Dawn. NEVER use the one with ammonia listed as an ingredient! Did you get that? Under NO circumstances use the one with ammonia to make a house wash mixture or for that matter, to clean anything!
    On a similarly related topic, regular Dawn dishwashing detergent is death to fleas on infested cats and dogs. If any fleas survive the shampooing, they are only interested in hopping off their host by the time you're toweling them off. (But they won't be able to) And wash from the head to the tail first. If you start with the tail and go towards the head, fleas will take refuge in your pet's ears to survive, and they re-infest. Make sense?

    • @tomwitt4490
      @tomwitt4490 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      no, the downstream adds water from the pressure washer into your mix, so the mix would be highly diluted. I would suggest getting liquid chlorine, 12.5% sodium hypochlorite mix, and use the pure liquid chlorine because your pressure washer will mix water with it. you can add soap though.
