The best part of The Oak Ridge Boys reaction, is your face, when they hit the
Lowest notes.👍👍 Just a great rockin song with a great story. Loved your reaction.
    Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦

The person on the right with the deep voice, Richard Sturbin used to sing in Elvis gospel back up singers.

Such fun to listen to! It gets a person snapping their fingers and tapping their toes. So talented. Thank you for reacting to the older Country music cause that's where the talent fully lies.
    P.S. I listened twice! 👍

The sax and piano give it an oldie's rock sound. Love it

That came out when I was 7 years old and I drove everyone insane singing it over and over. Brings back memories.

One of my favorite songs by one of my favorite groups. I'd suggest:
Leaving Louisiana in the broad daylight
    Beautiful You

Love the Oakridge Boys. That sax reminded me alot of "Yakety Sax" by Boots Randolph. If you are a sax fan it is worth the listen. High energy.😊❤

I bumped into your channel a few days ago. I truely enjoy you!! Lots of fun! American Made is great, but , you can't go wrong with "country"! Take care, prayers for good health and much joy to you and all who are watching! God bless!!

  • @firefighterchick

It's been ages since I've heard this song!
This has an obvious 80's sound to it compared to many of their other songs.
Part of the instrumental reminds me of the Ray Stevens song, The Streak! Lmao!!
You must check out Ray Stevens songs! He does more like quirky, comedy, country songs. You'll love them.
The Streak and The Mississippi Squirrel Revival are hilarious.

Don't feel bad about the names. I've loved The Oaks since the 70s, and I couldn't name one of them right now. I would recognize the names if I heard them.

While growing up my great aunt and uncle loved listening to The Oakridge Boys. However, they listened to their gospel songs more so than their country pop songs. My grandfather loved listening to "Barber Shop Quartets" and my great uncle was the baritone in the quartet from his hometown. Here's another new band to give a listen, in case you're interested. This is an all-female country music group "The Chics - Wide Open Spaces (Official Music Video)" these lady's will blow you away with their beautiful harmonies. Another great rabbit 🐰 Hole 🕳

Left to right (looking at that album cover), you have Dwayne, William Lee, Joe and Richard. Richard is the bass...Joe is the tenor. These guys love Home Free. Check out their collaboration on "Star of Bethlehem"
