It's been ages since I've heard this song! This has an obvious 80's sound to it compared to many of their other songs. Part of the instrumental reminds me of the Ray Stevens song, The Streak! Lmao!! You must check out Ray Stevens songs! He does more like quirky, comedy, country songs. You'll love them. The Streak and The Mississippi Squirrel Revival are hilarious.

While growing up my great aunt and uncle loved listening to The Oakridge Boys. However, they listened to their gospel songs more so than their country pop songs. My grandfather loved listening to "Barber Shop Quartets" and my great uncle was the baritone in the quartet from his hometown. Here's another new band to give a listen, in case you're interested. This is an all-female country music group "The Chics - Wide Open Spaces (Official Music Video)" these lady's will blow you away with their beautiful harmonies. Another great rabbit 🐰 Hole 🕳
