    He should probably explain that every single movement, posture or physical expression with any part of the body must first fulfill the requisites:
    1. Establish awareness of Center of Gravity and maintain this awareness always
    2. Establish connection of Center of Gravity with the Earth and maintain this connection always (posture training will help with this, but you can discard the technical posture after you master the connection and progress to being able to connect to the Earth bwithout using technical mechanical posture - at this point it won't matter what your body looks like physically)
    3. Establish bodily equilibrium in its entirety and maintain this state of equilibrium always, I call this equilibrium your "zero point state". If you maintain zero point state in your body, then any energy over zero can be easily detected down to the most subtle and hidden. when you can detect the amplitude, vector, of the energy, you are better equipped to be able to manage it with the least waste on your part.
    4. Use this ground connection as the originating point to power every single physical expression of your body WHILE maintaining all this awareness and equilibrium.
    5. All your power and work is created by and done by your body CG and root with the ground in the above four items, and your legs and arms should not be doing any exertion with muscles to create power. Your legs and arms are nothing compared to the Earth pushing through your body and spitting out into your opponent, with you controlling the constant energy of the Earth pushing against your connection/grounding point - namely through your heel, up your leg, through your spine and out your hands if you know how to make your body a channel that is empty of obstructions of stiffness and stagnation.
    In essence it does not matter what shape your arms and legs look like as long as you establish the above items when doing the action.
    All movements begin from the root and travel from there to whatever technique you want to execute.
    For me, it feels like I generate a tunnel or sphere and I am inside. And as long as I am inside this space, my body remains more optimized than my opponent so I don't have to use a lot of muscular exertion to achieve the work i want to do. If I reach outside or become greedy and extend beyond the space, then I lose my optimization and become caddywompus and have to strain to do the simplest actions. It's like bending my knees to lower straight down to pick up a dumbell vs. trying to pick it up while bent torso and extended arm. Much harder work for the same weight.

    See I always thought "internal" meant relax power but I think maybe, for discussion, it means the ocean-tides of your body is sinking back? Not really PULLING in but just allowing your body to retract into natural Shrimp-Fetus structure?

      He uses to teach those. He’s told me that what he now teaches is “pure internal.” I think if it as the essence of all the internal forms. He wants his colleagues (Master Zhu and Wu) to teach the forms. You can learn the forms from them on Patreon.
