Just sold my 2024 Integra Type S. I was in between this and my 2023 Camaro SS. My number one issue was the seats. They are awful!! The SS seats are so dang comfortable heated and cooled. Acura should have had better seats with heating and cooling at this price point. Also should have had power passenger seat. I mean how much weight did they really save? It was all about more profit. They are some of the firmest bottom seat cushion I have ever felt in a car. Also with the material I sweat like crazy in the south. Really need to redo the seat design. You are so on point with your videos. I also had an aspec 6 speed before my Type S and both cars had front seat belt area rattles. Its a design flaw in a lot of them that shows up. Keep up the awesome content.
The Camaro seats are WAAAAAAYYYYYY better. I feel like the weight savings should have been reserved for the Civic, not the Integra. I'm glad I'm not the only one
This SO much! There’s absolutely NO reason this car should be as barebones as it is. It’s purely for cost cutting and padding profits not weight savings! Better seats (cooled), rear seat vents, and powered seats are bare necessities for an almost 60,000 USD vehicle.

I traded my 2022 SI for Integra type S.. it's the best car I've ever owned. The seats are perfect for me although some of the other dealers i was shopping had the same car but the seats felt flat. My only other complaint is only 4 inches of clearance on the front lip, if you pull in too close to a curb the parking sensors don't warn you. Everything else is absolute perfection. Keeping this car until it dies

@@QueTheChaotic Do yourself a big favor and try a 2018 M2. They're pretty affordable right now. It's the LCI, so it has the upgraded dashboard and idrive unit that they put in the M2C, plus it has the N55 engine that gives the car a whole lot more playful character, and the sound is amazing. It's enough to make it feel like a completely different car compared to the Comp. Stock exhaust sounds great, and even better if you can get an M Performance exhaust. That thing sounds almost as good as American muscle.

I been hearing that buzzing sound from day one and I can not figure out where it was coming from and when I have people in the they say it’s coming from a different location than where I think it’s coming which I say it’s coming from the front passenger side like you say and too the sun glasses holder 😅 however it’s worse when I listen to my music loud
Hrm, I seen your CT4 Blackwing vid - Cadillac is offering 3k off MSRP and 3.9 APR. Type S models around me still upper 50s, I see CT4BW also upper 50s. Which one would you take today?
It depends on the features that come on the BW. If it’s not too barebones that’s the route I would take. Check out ‘Zygrene’ channel. He compared the 2 with an SS 1LE. I personally just prefer RWD
I got some droning from adding the cat to the dp. It's almost like the exhaust notes are evolving and changing evert day while it settles in....
How long ago did you have that done?

No rattles so far in 2400 miles/3 months of ITS ownership. I know they are common, though, so it’s a matter of time… That the hatch doesn’t pop up is annoying AF, but I’m now accustomed to it. I love the exhaust note! Drone minimal. Seats are OK for me, but then I use this as an entertaining daily driver. Probably not doing much aftermarket on this one. I spent so much time modding my NSX, I’m done 🤣 for now. Thank you for a great video update!

Dude, we just moved to your area-ish. Wife has the same (demo) and we noticed paint chipping under the tail light on the passenger side. I posted on FB. Would you mind checking yours as well? I'm looking to see what local Acura dealers we should hit up about it.
In my experience, they all have good service departments. I don't notice that on mines
On the TLX they have a parking sensor button on the left hand side you could easily turn the parking sensors on and off. If there's nothing like that on the Integra I imagine its hidden in the menus, which is annoying 😭
That's a great feature to have. I wonder if thats what the blank button is in the Integra
So I should wait a couple of years for the refresh 😎 (like ALL first model years they will have growing pains) hopefully they get rid of the stick on fender flares on the rear as well…. The Type S is still a sweet ride Congratulations 🎉 on your Acura

Not taking anything away from the S at all. I'd take one in a heartbeat over my Aspec! I do think it should have the full tech package and a sunroof though 👍🏻 Type Rs are a different story.
By the way, I took my car in for service and they re-tuned and re-calibrated the electric steering. Drives like a different car with much better handling now 👍🏻 I knew there was no way Acura put out any Integra with terrible handling! I'm extremely happy with this car as a daily driver now 👍🏻From an Aspec perspective, this and the fender thing are the only issues I've seen with the 24.
They actually gave me a brand new liquid carbon Aspec auto as a loaner. Which was actually really nice for a daily driver 👍🏻 In person, the color is really nice too.

If I had to guess, the type S and Type Rs likely have a different rack/steering that had better QC
If you do experience it, I highly recommend bringing it in. Here are the symptoms:
- On the hwy the steering would stick in the straight position or banking left. Which required extra force to take the wheel back that caused the car to jerk. Also making it hard to keep the car in lanes and cause instability banking left 55-75 mph
- The weight and steering speed were off. You'd bank around a turn on the hwy and the car would drift out of the lane and then start turning late
- Happens in all modes
Whatever they did made the car perfect now 👍🏻 Night and day difference
Add me to the list of people who just sold their 2024 Integra Type S. Got rid of mine this week after having it about 10 weeks, with less than 2k miles on it. I was excited about the car at first, but it got old real quick. The seats are just totally sorry and there's no excuse. Worst (and hardest bottom) seats I've ever had. I had much better seats in a VW GTI I bought 10 years ago. The features that the lower spec Integras have that are missing from this car... memory seats, power passenger seats... Heck, even the manual adjustment on the passenger seat in this car is a joke. And no, none of it is weight saving, it's just Honda/Acura being cheap and trying to maximize profit. The cheap hard plastics that don't belong on a car at this price point... Ugh. And the issues these cars have. The weird sort of scraping sound coming from under my car that the dealer admitted they heard, but they couldn't diagnose it and basically just shrugged - "It's probably just the brakes. This car has high performance brakes." LOL no. GTFO with that. The passenger side seatbelt rattled at the B-pillar and drove my wife nuts every time she rode in the car. The dashboard started rattling bad in just the last week... The list goes on. I commented on another one of your vids that I had taken it to CarMax 4 weeks ago out of curiosity just to see what they'd offer, and they offered me 44k for it. Now four weeks later (and with only a couple hundred more miles) they offered 43k. CTR resale/trade-in values are above that car's MSRP and in some cases they're even going up. Not the Type S. The value is dropping like a stone, at least right now. Oh, and if you've got a car with dealer installed accessories, that's just lost money. You'll never get that back when you sell it (which makes those $2k copper wheels extra painful). Maybe when dealers' used car databases have more info on 2024 model vehicles you'll get a better deal trading in an ITS. I couldn't live with the car anymore, and I couldn't in good conscience sell it private party, I just had to get out of it, so I took the hit. Before the ITS I owned a 2018 M2 and before that I had an SS 1LE. I loved both those cars, and they're both worth every penny of the asking price. After getting rid of the ITS I picked up a 2021 M2 Comp, and I'm happy again.
You hit the nail on the head. The Divics have higher resale value from what I see. Even in the Si and regular civics. You have great taste in cars. I miss my Camaro and M2. They're awesome cars.
@@QueTheChaotic As do you! The M2 and the 1LE are my 2 favorite cars I've ever owned. If I can figure out a way to have both I will. As far as I'm concerned they're some of the best bang for your buck fun cars you can buy, and with the end of ICE and manuals coming soon, they're both going to be keepers. Get them while you can.

I am a little confused about some of the things you are looking for, and some I do understand. Seats should be in the middle of luxury and sport. The memory is definitely missing

It sits lower than the a spec Integra.

Hey man, I recently got my Integra Type S. Has about 800 miles on it now. From day one (3 miles) the car has had this high pitch squeak noise. Wondering if you or anyone you know with a type S has had the same issue? It’s only when moving and off throttle. Strange. Let me know thanks.

SMDH! Acura knew they was going to profit from this car tremendously and people was already going to be so overhead they head due to the markup that little stuff like this most people just going to deal with these quirks as times goes on or pay so much down that it will be worth it to trade in. But this car looks damn good on the outside though. We can’t deny that.

Man I know there are certain quirks but this car tuned with hondata phearable stage 2 tune along with a downpipe, produces 380 hp to the wheels which is super fast, so I might can deal with a few quirks but I must admit I appreciate my tlx type s a little more not that it doesn't have it's quirks as well

I personally think parking sensors are the most overrated feature on cars and I’m glad my Type R doesn’t have them. Especially with a car the size of the Integra or Civic parking sensors are a nuisance.
Type S not track car first as the type r is so seats will purposely be a step back in holding you in. Seats being uncomfortable is not acceptable. Ultimately Acura is maximizing profit margin on Integras with selling point being the driving experience on the road. Entry level luxury sports sedan with emphasis on entry. I currently have an fk8 type r with a deposit on ur spec type s so watching ur experience closely.
I'll keep cranking out the content. I have been really critical on the Integra. I'll bring out more positive content
