I am currently working my way through a TEFL course and my assignment is to create 2 lesson plans and I am just so baffled and stuck with what to put! The topic is past continuous tense with actions that have been interrupted. For 10-12 year olds. HELP!

Whats in the box? Made me chuckle

    • @CitizensofHope

It makes me chuckle too, Gareth. ☺One of our teachers in the past loved calling that 20 Questions activity "What's in my box!?" And he would always yell that phrase (wayyyy to loudly and dramatically maybe) several times while doing the activity. So it can definitely have that humorous effect on people! But I've even done this one with large classes of 40 or 50 students, and if you have the right group or if you build enough intrigue, you can get everyone leaning in and wondering "what in the world...does he/she have...INSIDE THAT BOX!!??" 🤣🤣🙌 A powerful way to start any lesson. Blessings, -Andy

nice lesson, lovely voice but too low and the music too loud. Thank you

Thanks for the feedback, Ana! We love adding music to some of our content but not all. This lesson does have music at the start since it kicks off several more video in a series that is part of our online course. However, if that's not your thing, you'll find that there is NO music for several more videos and hardly any at all for the next several hours of content that come after this video. Some people find videos with music much more engaging and some people don't, and we're always trying to balance out everyone's preferences and find a way to make content for all types of people, so I'm really glad that you gave us some helpful feedback in that regard. :) You can watch more of those videos I mentioned here if you're interested in more: th-cam.com/play/PLc7qiAsR5B_R9BPy_ExCMVzd816RImSRI.html

@@CitizensofHope thank you for your response. Well, it is not a matter of’ to music or not to music’, The music is okay, but I find it a bit louder than your voice tone. Thank you
