This is simply for fun and none of the ladies or young men on the field expected the outcome to be much different.
This is a solid training idea for the women's team though. Good exposure to a pace that their competition can't keep up with. I hope it helps their development for continued sucess. I played competitive tennis and early teens was when the level separation between the boys and girls became apparent but the girls always benefitted a ton from facing serve speeds and angles that their competition couldn't produce. @@Marcus28not the rules
@@EliminationSquare im pretty sure it is
@@Marcus28it’s not it’s onoh when the receiver is on their own half on the time of the pass. My guess is that they don’t play off side for this game since there is no assistant referees and they play 7v7
there's no offisde rule on a 7v7 game.
Their league doesn’t earn as much, their merch doesn’t sell as much, their media deals don’t generate nearly as much. Any kid in Econ 101 could tell you that doesn’t equate to equal pay.
It really is just that simple!!!
Context is also important, and I am in no way saying that the actual USWNT would beat these boys (mostly ages 18-20). But one of the women on the field is 51, several others are well past their prime. A few still play professionally in places, but most are retired or semi retired. This is simply for fun and none of the ladies or young men on the field expected the outcome to be much different.
Thanks for that info, totally makes sense. I'm 57 and the difference to when I was 17 is light years away!!!
Just makes you a tougher competitor and exposes areas for improvement. Good stuff!
Makes me think of Caitlin Clark, she's so good because she grew up playing with her brothers and her brothers friends!
I’d agree with you, except for the fact that they keep getting their heads handed to them, every single time.
she fell asleep for a sec with right kick lol
Lol nice header Fletcher. Gets beamed right in the face
هي الفرقة دي مالهاش حد يسأل عليها 😂
النسوية تبكي في الزاوية
😂 ههههه 😂
Las feminazis son un chiste 😂
“First time we’ve seen them connect a couple of passes” 15 minutes in😂
How is that a penalty?...
Who said men and women are equal 🤔😂
For those of you who do not follow football (soccer) this is footage from a small sided tournament called TST (The Soccer Tournament).
It's an open tournament with some teams invited to bring in fans.
This is not the USWNT that competes internationally or team USA that competes in the Olympics.
These are women in their 30's and 40's that have retired from the game.
Nevertheless, the USWNT has lost to boys teams as young as 14 in the past.

These scrimmages are intentionally scheduled to prepare the women for upcoming tournaments or matches.
The team and staff understand that it is going to be a tough challenge going into it.
They are usually scheduled against an academy team of young men.
The boys are mostly quicker, faster, stronger, and especially more aggressive than female competition.
It only makes sense as the women come away from it more prepared for their upcoming official matches.
The academy boys benefit as well. The ladies teams are well organized and professional.
The actual ISA women’s squad routinely gets their asses kicked by under 16 boys. This video is just more of the same.

No. This does not routinely happen. Official matches never take place.
Only scrimmages and not very often.
My mother asked passing by "What are you watching?"
I replied "Boys vs Adult women in soccer"
She squinted her eyes and told me "result is always the same"
It's not even a full size park or full size goals. Womens football is at best under 14 boys football...an utter joke
“Nice try Stacey!” 😂😂😂
I don´t understand, I only saw one team playing, where was the other one???
Just looking at their teammate's bodies and just waiting to get jiggy on the showers :/
Women’s football is over-hyped.
At the ‘elite’ level, they are about as good as any decent U14/U15 boys academy team.
Major problem is the goalkeeper in every team, I’ve seen better U13 boys than the top ladies….Why are they all so small?
It helps them play better against the other women. They know the boys are gonna be better, but it sharpens their game. It makes you better when you play someone better.
Not sure why this keeps happening. These young men should not be subjected to such poor competition. Shame…
2:05 What a save !!
In high school we played the girls college team. It was the only game we put on shin guards. Everyone we regularly played in season (other boys) would stop their foot if the ball wasn't there -- they wouldn't kick you. The women though -- they would kick you long after the ball was passed. Brutal. Don't know if it was spite or they really couldn't stop.
Why are the nets so short?
Never gets old
How small are those goal posts ?
My son's U-15 Premier League team beat a D-1 women's university team 4-0 a few years back. I was shocked at how much quicker and more physical the boy's were, the women would more or less concede 50-50 balls.
It was like men against boys.
The boys being the men here though 😂
This is how you create the strongest goalkeeper in women's soccer.
It was nice of the boys to take it easy on the girls squad. They could have scored twenty if they'd wanted to. Pure class right here.
When the camera shot is further back it looks like men are playing against little kids………the size difference is crazy.
Unlike Wrexham, these guy were actually going all out. They didn't even control the strength in their shot and not avoiding body contact at all with the other team player. Guess that's the difference between experience
And they claim they don't earn money as men
I think it's good that the women were allowed to take a picture with the winners at the end.
Imagine if they'd had full-size goals. Those are small.
That pen at 2:10 was clean af. Idk what these refs were thinking
Do offsides exist in the US ?
Gotta love the commentators calling game over after the 5th goal scored. It’s like they mentally give the girls a four goal head start.
I wish they would have had that million dollar game of a high school boys team playing a team of WNBA all stars or the WNBA champion. That would have been a blowout.
