Her mother said ABSOFUCKINLUTELY NOT & did NOT want to hear anything more about it (my aunt was the baby of the family). Little did anyone know, 5 months later their oldest child would be born. After the baby arrived, they married, 35 years later they are still married, still just as in love as they were at 17 & 19. In their grandparent era, and still act like two teens having their first summer love. My Uncle still to this day showers my Aunt with love & still to this day, tells the story of the day he fell in love and knew she would be his wife for life 🫶🏼 and she still tells the story of their first date and how she knew that night, if he ever asked she would say yes. All of their children, have happy healthy relationships with their spouses! That whole family is lucky in love 🫶🏼

Honestly the fact that they got married 5 months after meeting is a red flag. 5 months is not enough time to get to know someone enough to know whether you should marry them. That's my opinion, at least.
My Aunt (mom’s best friend) & Uncle met at 17 & 19. My Uncle told his brother “that girl right there is going to be my wife” & one month later he asked he asked her out on their first date. 3 months later she turned 18. He asked her parents for her hand in marriage….her father was okay with it, but asked that they make it at least a year first. Her mother said ABSOFUCKINLUTELY NOT & did NOT want to hear anything more about it (my aunt was the baby of the family).
Little did anyone know, 5 months later their oldest child would be born. After the baby arrived, they married, 35 years later they are still married, still just as in love as they were at 17 & 19. In their grandparent era, and still act like two teens having their first summer love. My Uncle still to this day showers my Aunt with love & still to this day, tells the story of the day he fell in love and knew she would be his wife for life 🫶🏼 and she still tells the story of their first date and how she knew that night, if he ever asked she would say yes. All of their children, have happy healthy relationships with their spouses! That whole family is lucky in love 🫶🏼

Well I have thought from the first time I heard about this when it hit the news that she set up the entire senerio but thought the outcome would be different. I think she wanted her husband gone and Emmett would kill him when they had the confrontation. She could say self defense and fet Emmett to herself When it went the other way she sees that she's going to be without a man so she stays by her husbands side through it all and now trashes the man that she wanted and got killed . She knew her car would be seen and she wanted her husband to show up. She went after him, the younger man with his own law practice. She isn't sorry for any of it . That's just my opinion. The wife should hold her deceased husband accountable for ruining their marriage but this woman makes it hard not to put blame on her, too.
