It’s still something that just baffles and frustrates me to seemingly no end. It’s fucking dystopian. Never seen anything like it. The good news is that time will not be kind to Jon Jones’ character and his precious, often self-referenced legacy. It’s already happening with videos like this and it’s only going to get worse and more common. The more a liar talks, the more opportunities it gives for people to catch them in their lies and dissolve doubt. The more time passes, the more people can do effective detective work - where people, from different walks and trades of life (even showcased in this very comment section!) slowly come together, educate each other in passing, gather and look at all the evidence and “slip-ups” up to this point, and paint an more accurate picture that we’re all feeling but just can’t prove yet. Videos like in this series are only going to get more accurate, more packed with info, and inspire and educate others to then pass it to other people. You can’t get away with things like you used to. The internet is too smart and too connected. It just takes time, focus, and the right people coming together at the right moments.
Ignorance is bliss, one + maybe give the benefit of doubt,Him having multiple! Positive test makes the excuses to hard to believe. The go to excuse of tainted supplements is also a red flag. Guys like Bisping have used tons of supplements over many years and never had 1 + test. A man’s character can tell you a lot about will or won’t do. A guy who will use cocaine a week before a fight , hides under a ring to avoid testing, hits a pregnant woman while driving drunk and high, doesn’t check on her but runs back to his vehicle to grab his stash then flee, plus other things he’s done . Does this sound like a guy who wouldn’t do steroids? Especially when there’s little chance of being caught? 🤣PLEASE. Where there’s smoke there’s 🔥 and that boi hotboxin . Usada is employed by the UFC , need I say more on why they changed their tune and now DON’T have to report violations.
Strength and Conditioning Coach here. Some things id like to add about Turinabol. Turinabol is NOT a weak steroid and is definitely better than drugs like D-ball referenced in this video. T-ball has an actuate effect on the nervous system, making explosive movements a lot easier and increasing total blood volume, which can increase one's cardio. The second effect being secondary to the primary function of the drug. It also has an incredibly short half-life, making it a fantastic drug if you want to run a compound in-between drug tests. Turinabol is NOT a cheap drug, it was not in a tainted supplement because it costs far more to produce than any over-the-counter supplement. He took it because it works and the likelihood of getting caught is low, not zero, but low.
Thanks for the added context. The short half life is something I read about while researching the video, but again, it's something I'm not that well versed in.

It's a real conundrum. Jon is undeniably a narcissist and I think part of that narcissism was truly believing that he was a good guy, who just made mistakes. But in recent years, he seems to have shifted to presenting himself as bad guy who is trying to overcome his faults.
He’s kind of like a Walter White or Barry type character (or Rodion Romanovich Raskolnikov for Crime and Punishment fans) - narcissistic & supremely focused on meeting their goals and fulfilling their ego, to the undeniable detriment of everyone around them, yet still believing in their own ultimate goodness in spite of the harm they continually inflict. Another excellent video. I feel a little older seeing all this Jon Jones stuff after living through it and being a massive mma fan. Looking forward to part 5
Same. This kind of thing happens often for me these days. Haha. Seeing any kind of sports footage from 10 years ago or more makes me feel old. Lol especially when the footage even looks old and dated for whatever reason even though it’s not that old.
Using pictures of Vern Troyer (RIP) lifting weights as the backdrop while talking about Joe Rogan will never not be absolutely hilarious. It’s the comedic chefs kiss like that which sets your stuff apart
As of today, it's been 8 months since this video was uploaded and I have listened to it, and Parts 1-3 so many times. I am chomping at the bit for Part 5.
Great video! I dunno why, but it JUST dawned on me, why Bones SPECIFICALLY does the "Freudian Slip" of being HONEST, when he mentions how he "partied" for 1 week before EVERY fight, meant he was coming OFF heavy rounds of testosterone cycles, & sure a little to party, but mostly to prevent the "crash", which would give his body that 1 week, to get RID of the Performance enhancing stuff
The point about DC never getting true closure with Jon is definitely something I think a lot of us never considered regarding that situation and genuinely makes a lot more sense than just insinuating DC is still salty about it or something equally immature, especially when you take into account just how maturely the guy has responded to FAR more hurtful life altering situations in the past, great stuff as always looking forward to more!
You won't find too many people who can look at a situation objectively. Most will be from fanboys crying "GOAT" and that is fundamentally their entire discourse
@@BeigeFrequencyJones and UFC. No legitimate sports industry tolerates drug use but Dana and Co didn't (and still don't) seem to mind. Lance Armstrong was literally a God amongst his peers and in his sport until he was caught, stripped of his titles and disgraced.
@@madeovstarstuff and what was the name of the organization that essentially failed to catch Lance Armstrong cheating for all those years? Oh....that's right.....USADA....what a coincidence🤔
I'm very late to this discussion, but it's so frustrating regarding Jones' PED use. He most likely used them his whole career, gaining physiological advantages over his opponents. Even if he was off them for his last fight with Cormier, his years of PED use would have had a cumulative affect on his physiology - like Derek (MPMD) has said before, the new muscle tissue you develop on PEDs doesn't go away when you stop taking them (he uses much better terminology than me and I'm paraphrasing) - so in my opinion, Jones still had an unfair advantage. He's an incredibly gifted fighter but I can't ever respect his victories knowing he had an unfair advantage for most if not all of them. That's not even mentioning his many transgressions - that hit and run against the pregnant lady is just unforgivable to me. I genuinely think he's a bad person through and through, selfish to the core and I despise how much the UFC has propped him up. He should have been banned for life after that incident.
In all seriousness, even if Jones retires after his next fight, a part 5, 6, 7, etc, may very well be needed. As long as he's making headlines, the content will keep coming. And I'll be here for ALL of it.
@@BeigeFrequency That is an extremely scary thought! Dude has serious demons, and I have no doubt training and fighting help to exorcize some of those demons. So, like many other fighters, not having that outlet anymore could absolutely make him even MORE of a powder keg.

Jones has been stripped 3 times but is still in the HOF. Dude is a chronic cheater but still have die-hard fans. I believe in this current HW run but he'll never be the goat with this many controversies. Goats don't cheat.
It boggles my mind that Cormier, a man who epitomises the qualities you would want not just in a champion, but in a standard bearer for any sport, is and will forever be overshadowed by Jones, a man who embodies the absolute worst qualities of professional athletics.
29:30 I have to disagree, I think you could easily make the argument that Cormier is the better fighter given that he is a foot shorter and a foot less reach and Jon is juiced to the gills and he still performed pretty well against him, I mean they fought toe to toe for what 7 rounds total before Jones finished him? With like 12" height and reach advantage, younger, and on roids? Like, suuuuure that science project is a better fighter than DC..... Also, I feel that Cormier underperformed most of his career, he fought very pridefully, both against Jones and Stipe, it was entertaining to watch, and I think he liked showing he could stand up and go toe to toe with these larger strikers and it backfired. I mean dude is probably shorter than 5'11" and knocked Jones' mouthpiece out and had him going backwards. Steroids and all.
For sure. I looked it up recently and DC had a reach advantage over 1 person in his UFC career, Roy Nelson. Daniel is genuinely more like 5'8-9". The fact that he was able to hold his own on the feet against guys like Gus, Rumble, Stipe and Jones in spite of his massive reach disadvantage is one of the more impressive feats in MMA. He's probably the best hand fighter in the sport
@@BeigeFrequency Exactly! I actually was just speaking off the cuff, hyperbolically last night, I just looked it up this morning, he legitimately had a 1 foot reach disadvantage against jones, that is not even an exaggeration at all, that is a statement of fact lol ~8" reach disadvantage to Stipe as well, easily outsized his entire career, except against Poor Anderson Silva lol
@@thequinlanshow3326 Not really... Its quite objective actually. Given that he is at such a physical detriment to everyone he's fought, it literally proves that he excelled in skill and toughness, how else did he achieve the success he did? If we wasn't one of the most skilled fighters and toughest fighters of all time, how was he able to beat the fighters that he beat? I don't think there are many 5'9" guys that are KO'ing Stipe, or beating Rumble, Gus, Barnett, Mir, Derrick Lewis... He literally did it all on skill and toughness. Compared to Jones, I can think several fights where I'm confident Jones would have lost if he wasn't on Roids and enjoyed a significant height and reach advantage.
I've prayed for times like this, finally the jones docummentary continues Truly the best of stuff Also the fact that jon jones of all people calling cormier dirty is one of the funniest things ever
Can’t wait for pt5 w his controversial Reyes/santos wins, the Vegas HOF night incident, then his 3yr absence for “weight gain” & his return against gane where it seemed the entire mma world was so glad to have him back none of the other stuff mattered.
All the gloating and taunting of DC being an old man by JJ is so stupid to me, the man is considered old in the sport even back then when he first fought Bones. You really felt the need to take PED"s when you have so many advantages of him anyhow? DC is a true champion in every aspect of the word, faced incredible adversity and persevered to become Double Champ. He's a good man.
The argument about "tainted supplements" has been used by so many athletes and coaches in the past, that at this point it is nothing but a caricature of an argument, a weak appeal to an audience that no longer exists - namely, a mass of fans of a given sport, that are completely ignorant about steroids, their use and distribution. Not everyone is a steroid expert, but the days when fans believed that their favorite athletes "accidently" took gear are in the past.

@@diggie9598If you think Jones is innocent, I've got a bridge to sell you.
@@astuteandy Did i say anything about Jones? Think again.
@@diggie9598 Your original comment literally insinuates that Jones could be innocent. Learn how to use English properly.
@@astuteandy I pointed out the logical fallacy in the original "whenever people" statement. The statement says nothing about Jones and i did not either. "Either that, or they are innocent. Both is possible" does not by any means "literally insinuate" anything about Jones in particular. I wrote "they" and it exactly is supposed to mean what it says. This is not so much about language skills but about critical thinking abilities. You can desperately try to be "right" or you can learn something. Up to you.
I said this in another reply about why JJ never owned the bad guy character - but I’ll put it here too because it came to me after watching probably a dozen JJ breakdown videos:
Jon Jones is almost like a Walter White or Barry type character (or Rodion Romanovich Raskolnikov for Crime and Punishment fans) - narcissistic & supremely focused on meeting their goals and fulfilling their ego, to the undeniable detriment of everyone around them, yet still believing in their own ultimate goodness in spite of the harm they continually inflict. They think because they feel bad about what they do that it makes them still redeemable. They have to cling to that belief for the sake of their own ego, otherwise they’ll lose the one thing that allows them to act with impunity. They know deep down that a bad guy doesn’t deserve to win - nevertheless they *need* to win. Therefore they can never accept that they’re the bad guy.
Also let’s face it, it feels good to be the continual underdog even though you’re the best fighter in the game. People root for you in spite of your dominance because they want to see you turn your life around. It’s really a genius maneuver, even if it’s all subconscious on Jon’s part.
nonono that is just a caricature people want to turn jones in to. your description is realistically how we could describe every professional fighter
Yeah, well, that's, just, like, you know, your opinion man
This is a perfect breakdown of how he operates in a nutshell.
Johnny “Soprano” Jones
I don't think Jon feels bad about it. He's probably a psychopath and the GOAT.
18:35 as a one time juice head, you only take estrogen blockers due to being on steroids.
Total legend 🙏
As of today, it's been 8 months since this video was uploaded and I have listened to it, and Parts 1-3 so many times. I am chomping at the bit for Part 5.
Gosh Beige.. you make some of the best docs on YT. Thank you 🙏🏻
These videos are so well done I'm hooked Everytime!!
The production on this Jones documentary was insane. Thanks Beige we appreciate.
Beige Frequency & Napoleon Blownapart are the fucking goats of TH-cam. Thanks for all the hard work.
🎉
Great video! I dunno why, but it JUST dawned on me, why Bones SPECIFICALLY does the "Freudian Slip" of being HONEST, when he mentions how he "partied" for 1 week before EVERY fight, meant he was coming OFF heavy rounds of testosterone cycles, & sure a little to party, but mostly to prevent the "crash", which would give his body that 1 week, to get RID of the Performance enhancing stuff
single handedly keeping me semi informed about UFC
The point about DC never getting true closure with Jon is definitely something I think a lot of us never considered regarding that situation and genuinely makes a lot more sense than just insinuating DC is still salty about it or something equally immature, especially when you take into account just how maturely the guy has responded to FAR more hurtful life altering situations in the past, great stuff as always looking forward to more!
He really was completely screwed over by Jones.
How many more times should old steroid head beat the shit out of him before Cormier gets his “closure”? It’s all salt my boy
We're still making excuses for a man who beat up his wife in front of their child.

All being led by a human egg that slaps his wife......
Who the hell is making excuses? All I see is him being shitted on.
@anti Infuriating isn't it mate
@@TheOrlandoTrustfull what's infuriating is you acting as if most ppl are on his side, and it's not true
Great video Beige, the whole doc was! Still would be keen on a doc like this for Tony Ferguson in the distant future
DC commented on the age thing in a podcast with a RC and it was really heartbreaking to see him reminisce of the rivalry
Our boy Beige is back... AND HE'S STILL MY BOOOOY
Jon: I aint take no steroids, man!
*Later, Jon snitches on his steroid source*
Supplements do not get tainted by steroids. What an absurd concept.
Turinabol costs a fortune also making it even more unlikly
Used this series to educate some of my new MMA fans on the UFC- Jon Jones story really touches on so many important eras in the sport
Bro we have been waiting so long for this! Keep up with the great work!
I’ve never clicked a video faster
This 100%
The drawing is REALLY good, you captured his darkness really well
I'm very late to this discussion, but it's so frustrating regarding Jones' PED use.
Oh hell yes, been waiting for this one, Beige!
Good to have you back at it with the MMA videos, my friend…this ought to be good.
Well this has made my night. Thanks for the upload man!!
I'm really enjoying your Jon Jones series, dude. Keep up the awesome work!
The king is back baybeeeee.
I swear you and Napoleon Blownapart should do a collab. It would be fire as fuck.
I made this comment also, would love to see that collaboration!!! Hyped for Napoleon’s new video

Love the new content, but pumped for this.
Thank you! I've checked the channel every day for this video!
Thanks for this! I’d love to see something similar about McGregor, these hero to villain stories are so interesting
Careful now, or your wife may end up in his DM’s.

Can't wait for part 5
I'm gonna try to get that one out in less than a year lol
In all seriousness, even if Jones retires after his next fight, a part 5, 6, 7, etc, may very well be needed. As long as he's making headlines, the content will keep coming. And I'll be here for ALL of it.
Retired Jon really worries me. I have no idea what that guy will do without fighting to focus on for the rest of his life...
@@BeigeFrequency That is an extremely scary thought! Dude has serious demons, and I have no doubt training and fighting help to exorcize some of those demons. So, like many other fighters, not having that outlet anymore could absolutely make him even MORE of a powder keg.
@@TheElbowMerchantI could see him coaching or doing the UFC media stuff. His perspective would be invaluable due to his deep knowledge of the sport and its arts. He’ll never not train or be connected to the sport he needs it. He needs the danger outlet and to stay busy. An idle jon jones is a terrifying thing lol
2017 Jon Jones: I'm happy USADA is in the UFC so my opponents have no excuses when I beat them.
2018 Jon Jones: I'm happy USADA is in the UFC so I have no punishment for testing positive for steroids.
And now he threatened to kill a drug sample collector. He’s seriously gonna be dead or in prison by age 50
The way you edit and narrate the fights is amazing
Enthralling as always, thanks for another video beige.
It’s gunna be a good day when beige frequency makes a new video thank u brother
Always worth the wait! You bring a level of depth and thoroughness which makes every upload feel like an event. Nothing is more engaging than the rollercoaster saga of Bones. I wonder what his bout with Stipe has in store 🤔
Thank you for this video, I just got off one hell of a workday. Perfect time for me to unwind
Jones has been stripped 3 times but is still in the HOF. Dude is a chronic cheater but still have die-hard fans. I believe in this current HW run but he'll never be the goat with this many controversies. Goats don't cheat.

LETS GO!! finally after a year of wait. Great work as always.
Always appreciate the work and research you put into your content. Those qualities are severely lacking these days.
"now your calling me the n bomb? real cool" Goated quote
Is there going to be a part 5?
It boggles my mind that Cormier, a man who epitomises the qualities you would want not just in a champion, but in a standard bearer for any sport, is and will forever be overshadowed by Jones, a man who embodies the absolute worst qualities of professional athletics.
The prodigal son has returned! Fuel for my workouts 🤘👏
Amazing work!

This really is excellent stuff Beige. Thank you.
god damnit beige i start college again tomorrow and you have to go and drop this right now
Crimson Mist.
5:38 lol at joes hair transplant scar 😂😂😂
He tried everything to keep it lol poor guy
Absolute delusion
@@thequinlanshow3326 He wouldn't have beaten DC if he didn't have a 1 foot reach advantage
this series is the definitive doc on jon, so happy to see this in my feed

I've prayed for times like this, finally the jones docummentary continues
Truly the best of stuff
Also the fact that jon jones of all people calling cormier dirty is one of the funniest things ever
Can’t wait for pt5 w his controversial Reyes/santos wins, the Vegas HOF night incident, then his 3yr absence for “weight gain” & his return against gane where it seemed the entire mma world was so glad to have him back none of the other stuff mattered.
Hopefully it comes out soon 🤞🏼
Y'all JJ haters are genuinely pathetic
Welcome back sir. Your table has been waiting for you.
What i loved most about their feud was that they both actually listened to each other
“This guy knows deep down I wouldn’t do steroids. He knows in his heart I didn’t do steroids.”
Wow. The delusion in that statement.
It's called coping
I'm listening to this at work on the speakers, idc if the customers hear. NEW BEIGE FREQUENCY
Oh shit, hell fucking yes. Each of these has been so much more anticipated than the last.

Great work on the doc, your MMA lore knowledge is great. I’d be interested on a series on Dana white and his rise as a promoter.
How the fuck did i not get a notification about this?
