Maybe time of day changes the outcome as well, I’ve noticed stuff like the painting containing “the core” will throw you to an alternate garden puzzle where you can get a star at night.

@@absollnk Nope! I managed to reach it way before I found out about the red star door. No cheats used getting there, only to get the star and even then, it’s not a guarantee you’ll have to, I’ve seen others have a decent spawn with it.

I know that game pretty well, and am pretty sure that even though the credits references themes from across the game, that PARTICULAR theme does not appear elsewhere in the game. Its true origin may be elsewhere in Mario's catalogue that I have not encountered yet.
